Atour properties in Datong

The location is not far away from Datong South railway station. It is also not far away from the Datong Ancient City. Taxi rides took less than 15 minutes for these destinations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed at Atour Linfan before this trip. The quality is consistent. Besides the free supper available after 930pm, unlimited supplies of bottled water and free usage of the washing machine and dryers, the key element is the friendly services and the extra miles from the staff to make the stay remarkably.

Datong left me with a wonderful impression, and Atour Hotel Datong, where I stayed this time, was my comfortable 'haven' in the city. Many thanks to all the staff at the hotel. The hotel's location is very convenient for taxis, and it's quite close to the ancient city. The room was cleaned daily and was spotless. The toilet and shower facilities were new and odorless, which was reassuring. The ladies at the front desk were all very enthusiastic when I entered and exited the hotel, and because I booked through Trip.com, they gave me complimentary fruit every day, which I really appreciated. Food delivery by robot to the room was extremely convenient. I will definitely stay at Atour again! 👍

I'm a Platinum member and also an Atour member. To sum it up: it still lives up to the V3.6 standard and is worth staying at. First off, no one in my family smokes, and we're sensitive to smoke. This newly opened Atour is very clean. I didn't encounter any smokers in the elevators or restaurant (though I did see a few impolite elderly women taking fruit from the restaurant to their rooms). The guest rooms were also free of smoke and renovation odors. The room windows offered good ventilation, and while there's air conditioning, it's not needed at night in Datong. Furthermore, the ladies at the front desk were very friendly, and I really enjoyed the books at the front desk. I even read two books during my stay, which was a great bonus. Getting around Datong by taxi is convenient and affordable, so the location was perfect for me. My only suggestion is that check-ins and check-outs are quite busy around 2 PM. It would be helpful to streamline the process and add more staff to manage that peak period. Overall, it's very good and meets Atour's 3.6 standard. I'll definitely come again next time~
