"The room was great, on the 21st floor, directly facing Yongtai Gate, offering a good view of the ancient city's layout. They also provided 4 bottles of high-quality spring water in the room. Breakfast was rich, including Cantonese options. On the day we left, we asked the front desk for a late check-out until 3 PM, and they agreed. Even though it's an older five-star hotel, it still maintains its quality. Very good. And it's convenient to get to the ancient city."

We were visiting the area and booked a hotel in the county town, which is said to be the best. Overall, the hotel was excellent, with convenient access to the surrounding area, its own charging stations, and a large parking lot. However, after two days, I noticed the lack of cleanliness. The bath towels seemed unused, just folded, and the shower drain wasn't cleaned. Most importantly, showering was uncomfortable, with unstable water pressure and fluctuating temperature. The decor was modern Chinese style, and the desk and accompanying chair were awkward; a child's legs couldn't fit in, and adults had to sit sideways.

The homestay is very easy to find, the environment and health are great. It’s not far from the core area of the ancient city. At night, I went to see the iron flower. The boss also lent us the electric car. Riding the electric car at night, the weather is cool and it’s really good.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and there were fruits, drinks, and bottled water available. They also provided detailed recommendations on where to eat and what to do while we were traveling, including suggested times and locations, all at reasonable prices. It was a very welcoming experience and truly reflected the hospitality of the people of Datong.
