"Yesterday, I went to Mount Emei and stayed at Jinding Xinxin Hotel because I wanted to catch the sunrise. I didn't expect it to be so cold on the mountain when it was still short-sleeve weather at the base. I quickly made my way to the hotel. I had booked a corridor room, but the lovely concierge upgraded me to a mountain view room for free. Seeing I was a bit affected by the altitude, she took my measurements and confirmed my oxygen levels were indeed a bit low. She then brought me warm saline tea and a thick cotton coat. She also reminded me to open the window, rest, and gave me some tips for dealing with altitude sickness. It was truly heartwarming. The hotel's food was delicious, and the chef even delivered it to my room. The hotel's location is excellent, about a 10-minute walk to Jinding on the left and Funicular No. 1 on the right. Very convenient. Although the room wasn't huge, which is understandable for a mountaintop hotel, it was very clean and tidy. In the afternoon, the lobby offered free scripture copying and tea brewing. The tea was 'Old Eagle Tea,' filled with the refreshing scent of the mountain forest. All in all, apart from a bit of altitude sickness, everything else was wonderful. If you're not super fit but still want to see the sunrise, staying at Xinxin Hotel is a great choice. The concierge was attentive and caring, and all the staff were enthusiastic and helpful. The hotel thoughtfully provides reminders for sunrise and sunset times, allowing you to leisurely enjoy the mountain views, visit the temple, and then return for breakfast. The breakfast was also very generous."

"We had a perfect stay at the Emmy Mountain Hot Spring Hotel. Everything was great — the hot spring facilities were excellent, and our child really enjoyed them. The whole family had a very comfortable and relaxing experience. What made our stay truly special was the incredible hospitality. A special mention to one of the managers, Wan Li, who went far above and beyond her duty. She helped us with translation, gave us great advice on places to visit around Emei Mountain and Leshan, and made sure we felt completely at ease throughout our trip. Her kindness and support made a real difference for our family. Thank you to Wan Li and the entire hotel team. Everything was just right — we highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area."

"On a spontaneous trip, I unexpectedly discovered this hidden gem of a guesthouse. The location is superb, just a three-minute walk to Huangwan Tourist Center. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. For someone who frequently travels for business, the comfort of the bedding is immediately noticeable. Good bedding leads to good rest, which is essential for enjoying the next day's adventures. The breakfast selection was rich, and although it was a set menu, the variety was thoughtfully put together. Some guests mentioned the portions were so generous they couldn't finish it all, and I even took some eggs and yogurt to eat on the go. The soy milk at breakfast was absolutely amazing! The owner said it's freshly ground every morning, which explains its delicate and silky smooth texture. With all these fantastic qualities, the handsome owner offering complimentary pickup and drop-off at the high-speed rail station almost feels like an afterthought, hahaha! Businesses that are thoughtful and high-quality truly deserve recognition! Oh, and before I left, I also bought their 'Piao Xue' jasmine tea – it tastes great and isn't expensive, perfect for both gifts and personal enjoyment!"

"This is an excellent forest guesthouse! It lives up to its reputation, with great service. The account manager was very dedicated, helping us arrange a car to take our older child and luggage to the high-speed rail station, which saved us time after coming down from Emei Mountain. The resort grounds are huge, with a lake perfect for a leisurely stroll and enjoying the views! The breakfast also features local specialties, and the dining environment is superb! In the evening, my younger brother and dad went to building #7 for a hot spring bath, which was very nice! Due to time constraints, we didn't get to visit the zoo in building #8. The room itself was decent and standard for a guesthouse of this style; you can expect a reliable stay. If you're not driving and plan to visit Emei Mountain, this is a great choice as they offer high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off."

The spa could use a renovation to make it even better! The hot spring water is excellent. Breakfast and dinner are great, clean, and hygienic. The room layout is also well-designed. The service is very good, with a dedicated customer butler following up. The park is nice for a stroll; you can walk around the lake and enjoy the lake view. Overall, everything is quite satisfactory!"

"Exceptional Hospitality and a Beautiful Resort I had a wonderful stay at Zoland Resort and was truly impressed by the warm hospitality and thoughtful service throughout my visit. A special thank you to Hotel Manager Mr. Ma and my butler, Xiao Luo, for going above and beyond to make my stay so enjoyable. Mr. Ma was especially kind to take time out to personally accompany us on a lovely walk to Qingyin Pavilion. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a memorable experience. Every member of the resort team was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I also appreciated having a dedicated butler, Xiao Luo, who was always ready to assist with any request or need. When we arrived late, the team thoughtfully arranged a late lunch for us, which was a wonderful touch and very much appreciated. Beyond the excellent service, I absolutely loved the architecture and design of the resort. The setting, attention to detail, and overall atmosphere make Zoland a truly special place. Although my stay was short, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and left with very fond memories. Thank you to the entire Zoland team for making our stay so special. I will definitely return if I have the opportunity."

The staff provided excellent service, even helping us book dinner. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Xiao Jia, one of the staff members, was particularly wonderful!"

Every request was met quickly and with a smile. • Generous and varied breakfast spread. • Daily complimentary milk and afternoon tea - a lovely touch that made the days feel unhurried. • Pickup service included, which took all the stress out of arrivals and departures. • Works equally well as a romantic escape for couples and as a nature retreat for families. It is very family oriented, and many of the guests were families with children. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Emeishan who wants comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality in one place."

BANYAN TREE MOUNT EMEI
"Perhaps it's a new Banyan Tree, but it's the worst one in China. I stayed for three days and couldn't connect to Wi-Fi either in or outside my room. They even made excuses, blaming the room type, even though I was in the main building. It took hours for the butler to reply to messages, making it pointless to even add them. Calling the restaurant for room service also went unanswered, forcing me to go back to the butler, who was still slow to respond – it was infuriating! Honestly, the room itself was okay, but personally, I felt it was the same layout as the VIP building at the national guesthouse next door, just smaller and with worse service. The hot spring water was just hot water. When it poured rain, there was no one to even hold an umbrella for me at the hotel entrance; I don't know what they were standing around thinking. And then, I couldn't even book a ride to the station; they said I booked too late, but when I left, I clearly saw several cars still waiting for passengers. Haha. The only good thing was the restaurant food, which was really delicious, except for the terrible breakfast that had nothing. Overall, I absolutely do not recommend it!!!"

"This time I came to Emei Mountain for a hike and stayed at Atour Emeishan Station. The overall experience was a pleasant surprise! What impressed me most was that the hotel offers a pre-arranged pick-up service from the high-speed rail station. I didn't have to lug my luggage around after getting off the train; I was taken directly to the hotel, which is super convenient for travelers. Food delivery to the room is handled by a robot, which is very fast. I didn't have to go downstairs to collect my order, which was very hassle-free. Because I had to get up at 6 AM for the hike, I booked the hotel's wake-up call service. It was perfectly on time, ensuring my hiking schedule wasn't disrupted. Even after checking out, I wasn't rushed. I relaxed in the lobby's Bamboo House area, where I could browse books and enjoy some tea, giving me a completely relaxed feeling. The overall service was attentive and thoughtful, and both the soft and hard facilities were top-notch. It's truly ideal for anyone stopping over while hiking Emei Mountain. I'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel is located in a village next to Baoguo Temple and features five small hot spring pools of varying temperatures (39℃, 41℃), open from 6 PM to 10 PM. Since they are situated in a bamboo forest, there are quite a few mosquitoes, so mosquito repellent is a must if you plan to use the springs. A big plus for us, and the reason we chose this hotel, is that the standard rooms come with a 1.5-meter wide bed – a rarity for standard rooms and very convenient for families traveling with children. The hotel is a bit far from the lively restaurant street and the Ma Lu Qiao food street, making dining options less convenient. On the downside, the hallway soundproofing isn't great, especially in the mornings when early-departing guests can be quite loud. The shower stall is also too small; it's easy to accidentally hit the faucet, causing the water to stop abruptly or change temperature drastically, which is quite annoying. In our room, the bathroom sink drain was partially blocked, so it took ages for the water to drain, making us hesitant to use it. On the positive side, the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions and do their best to resolve issues and fulfill requests. However, one notable flaw is the lack of a phone in the room. When we wanted some water, we had no way to contact staff and had to go to the front desk ourselves. This seems like one of the hotel's weaknesses."
