Second time staying in the Langham. Very comfortable and great service as always. Staff very friendly to assist and the call service for extra amenities is incredibly fast. They were helpful in securing transport to the airport and my parents were very comfortable as well during the stay. Location is supreme for Hong Kong, very hard to beat. Breakfast can get a little busy and may need a wait to get a table, but quality options when seated. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Good location, though the room is quite small (which is understandable for Hong Kong), the amentities are good ( shampoo, soap, hanger, hair dryer, even have the adopter which is super useful for foreigner like me!). The hotel has no lobby, a housekeeper opened the room for me, she can't speak English, but still she is very nice and friendly.
The only big problem for me here is the room's wall is so thin, even people walking past your room or next door turn on/off the light, you can hear it. Also, there is a thick glasswall connected to next room, it cannot seen through but when next room open the light, my room also gets the brightness as well, I found it very too sleepđ„Č

During the second morning of my stay I found a dying cockroach in my room. The staff came to deal with it immediately, assured me that there are no cockroaches in the hotel and that is due to the humidity. They then applied these tablets to the bottom door so that more do not come. The staff was nice. Wouldnât stay here again.

We located the building for our room. We arrived on the floor and found the door to our rooms quickly. Some one met us there and although they did not speak English they had an app on their phone to translate. They eventually showed us to our room in a different building. It was in a good location. The room was very small with no amenities. I guess this is what to expect in Hong zkong on a budget.

The location is right at the center. Room is about 7 square meters, very small. You cannot borrow the iron if you want to iron your clothes. If you come late for check in at night, you cannot go inside the building because nobody opens the door for you. The safety guard downstair does not work for the hostel, he doesnât know who you are and he cannot speak English. You have to go up to 15th floor to check in. The room smells bad. Every day I saw a baby cockroach crawling on the floor and I don't know where it came from. The light in the toilet was flickering and on the 3rd day it fell off the ceiling. The staff was friendly but they only spoke Chinese.

I traveled alone from Harbin. The prices in Hong Kong made me excited for a person like me who spent less than 300 to live in such a central location. To be honest, the room is not big, but land is expensive in Hong Kong, so I am satisfied to live in this place. And it is very safe, and the door has a password. I thought it would be very dangerous at the time. Good review

Excellent service staff, a super nice lady at the reception. Checkin was fast and smooth! We booked a Suite on the 26th floor, big space with a huge bathroom. The swimming pool was never available, looks like abandoned space closed for several years. The hotel breakfast is not worth the penny, not something you want to try as a tourist. But this hotel location is convenient plenty of malls nearby, restaurants and 8mins walk from TST station.

Great and very convenient location very close to public transportation like MTR system, which is right below the hotel building. The surrounding areas are filled with restaurants of various ethnic flavors particularly Chinese and European. Thai and Philipino cuisines are also readily available if you have the cravings for them. I would recommend the hotel to all budget backpackers.

The location of the hotel couldnât be beat. Literally everything that you would ever desire (varieties of international food, shopping, sightseeing, parks, etc) is within a 20-25 minute walk. We walked to the famous Victoria Harbour for the spectacular CNY fireworks show and enjoyed the community spirit of Hong Kong. The staff are very visible and welcoming. We were also enthused to witness the CNY lion dance, sponsored by the hotel. Spectacular!

What Travelers Said About the Best Hotels in Hong Kong

4.6/5
Outstanding
SShawn TravelsOne of the best location hotels I have stayed in HK. Walking distances to major train lines, super easy access to MOKO Mall, Mong Kok East shopping and great eateries. The room is spacious, staff friendly and all daily essentials for comfortable hotel stay are included. It will be great if the toilet bowl included a bidet but it's just something great to have. Will certainly opt to stay here again in my next visit to HK with family or friends!
EEdiGThe hotel positions itself as a 4-star establishment, but it falls short of that mark. Here's a breakdown of my experience:
Location: The location is excellent, if you don't mind a steep uphill walk. However, the entire island is built on different levels, which isn't a negative but rather a positive â a daily workout! There's a bus stop right by the hotel, making it easy to reach the metro instead of walking up and down, straining your leg muscles. Next door is a botanical and zoological garden where you can take a stroll. By the way, entry is free. A 10-minute walk down the hill leads to the cable car âtramâ stop for a trip to Victoria Peak.
Check-in: Check-in was fast, but a USD 300 deposit is required, which isn't mentioned on either the trip.com website or the hotel's website. If you need an adapter for your electronic devices, ask for one right away â the receptionist won't offer it.
Room: The room is relatively clean, though I did find some hair in the kitchen and on the bedding. For Hong Kong, the room is spacious, but there's nowhere to store a suitcase. You can set the temperature on the air conditioner, but it doesn't work. It only blows cold air, making the room humid.
Kitchen: The kitchen is minimally equipped, but it's sufficient. However, upon check-in, they warn you that the stove can only be used for reheating food, not cooking, as the fire alarm system is very sensitive and might activate the siren due to hot steam. You must turn on the exhaust fan to full power and the air conditioner to avoid triggering the alarm. Why bother having a kitchen at all?
Bathroom: The same situation as with the kitchen â you need to close the door and turn on the air conditioner at full power while showering to avoid the fire alarm being triggered by steam from the bathroom. The shower hose started leaking on the second day of my stay. It was replaced with a new one, which also leaked. When the technician replaced the hose, did he check if the equipment was working properly? I doubt it.
Breakfast: Breakfast is only served from a menu, which is quite limited. It's delicious, but not diverse. Is this the service you'd expect from a 4-star hotel? The breakfast organization is chaotic â staff running around and clanging dishes. Two slow coffee machines and one toaster keep guests waiting in line. By the way, there are plastic mugs for tea and coffee. The only fruit options are two types of apples â red and green.
Service: The service is polite, but I'd say it's âon demand.â You need to ask for shampoo, shower gel, and dishwashing liquid to be refilled. The housekeeping, for some reason, doesn't notice the need to replenish hygiene products in the bathroom and kitchen.
Environmentalism: As in all of Hong Kong, they no longer provide water in plastic bottles. That's good, but come up with an alternative so guests don't have to go to the store for water. In my opinion, this environmental concern is simply an opportunity to reduce service costs while maintaining high accommodation prices. Speaking of breakfast again, the jam and butter are provided in small plastic containers, just like on airplanes. Is this really about caring for the environment?
Conclusion: Overall, it's a good choice if you're not bothered by the minor service inconsistencies and if you don't have high expectations for a 4-star hotel. If you're visiting Hong Kong, I'd recommend Two MacDonell Road.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the airport. If you take the AirPort Express train to the Asia World Expo station, itâs maybe 3-5 minutes away by feet - itâs actually directly connected to the station so you donât even have to go outside! They provide a shuttle to the airport every 15 minutes which is great. I think the ride lasts maybe 5 minutes? Itâs very short, the airport is genuinely super close.
The staff is very helpful. According to Hong Kong law, the hotels cannot distribute plastic water bottles so instead, each room gets a glass bottle that you can go refill whenever. There are several stations on each floor to do this. I thought this was a really good system.
They have a bar with a very nice atmosphere. Many people are sitting there waiting for their late flights and the vibe was really good!
Itâs somewhat of a basic business hotel. It was nice and clean but I felt like it was nothing extra - for this reason, I thought the price was way too high. This was my only problem. However, we also need to remember that this is Hong Kong, so it wonât be cheap.
AAnonymous UserGood condition and services
Very clean and comfortable and high efficient for special orders
Easy transportation for MTR, tunnel bus,
So many Shopping centres and food centers
All things are supplied in the room so enough.
But there have only 4 clothes hangers are not enough for winter use, or hanging clothes after washing clothes.
Times up must be left and locked the door is not a good service.
Long queue for check in. One receptionist is not enough, and low efficiency.
TThanawanThe hotel staff is very nice. Hotel is clean and provide a large room compared to other hotels near the city. The hotel has a shuttle bus service btw hotel and MTR. However, no survice after 8:00pm. Overall, We're happy during our stay here. Than you
FFeefa MLocation wise very good. Only 2 minutes walk from Islamic Canteen and Mosque. When we booked we didnât know itâll be that near so easy for us to find halal food and pray as well. Also about 10 minutes walk to Wan Chai Station. Our room is not very spacious however the price is okay for the room that fits our family of 4 as we chose family room. We mainly took public transport to go everywhere - Disneyland (40 mnt) , Ocean Park ( 20 minutes) , Victoria Peak + Peak Trams ( 25 minutes), ferry terminal to Macau only 10 minutes away and airport around 45 mnt to 1 hr depending on your exchange time. Overall we are satisfied with the hotel. As we will not be spending time inside the room so the price was okay for us with comfortable place to sleep.
MManta1Resort is an inflated term. Pool closed, spa closed, rooms are upstairs but there is no elevator so be ready to carry your bags. Small washer and dryer in the sauna room, outdated fitness equipment. Weird 'token' system for using the 'resort' things like washer or sauna.Interesting little game area downstairs, a couple kayaks and bikes to rent. Few real amenities that would make this a âresortâ. It's a decent hotel.
The rooms are clean but the windows don't open so it gets very stuffy, the fridge froze everything and the bathroom is tiny and dated. My view was gross, so I kept the shade down.
When the tide is out there is a beach, it is close to the ferry pier and a very pretty view when the construction is not going. The sun rises right in front of the hotel!
Restaurant has a large menu for dinner, but only one choice for breakfast (set meal or nothing).
What saves this place is the staff! They are wonderful, lovely people!
RRichelle SantiagoThe hotel is okay nearby the company meeting that we attended. It was my first trip overseas and I enjoyed it. I was excited and happy that I managed to travel overseas for the first time with my own hard earned money. It was possible with Abit help from our tenant's wife she gave small token of appreciation for my graduation. Did not expect to have this gift from someone I recently just met.
