"Wonderful stay for my first hostel experience!Loved the homey atmosphere, the rocking chair and the quiet, respectful vibe from fellow travelers. The location is excellent. 🙌🏽 close to downtown! right in front of a school, and near major museums like Casa Gorordo and the Jesuit House. A 7-Eleven 🌭 is just around the corner. The working 👩🏻💻 space is good, and while the common areas are a bit old, they are tidy and “kirei”. ✨ The staff are super welcoming and work so hard to keep the place tidy. In fact, they are so efficient that a staff member accidentally mistook my 🥯 for 🗑️ and threw it out before I could eat it! 😆 thank you for a good laugh 😂 and just proves how clean they keep the place. 🙌🏽 Traveler tip: It requires a short walk to get to the property, so book a GRAB CAR 🚖 or MOVE IT 🛵 if you have heavy bags or prefer not to walk. 🚶🏻♀️ Attached are the photos during my Museum hopping trip."

"The hostel has a good location, and I stayed there for two nights. The owner provided excellent and warm service, the environment was clean and tidy, and the price was affordable. There are some supermarkets and restaurants nearby, very satisfied!"

"It was a Saturday morning when our area were scheduled for a rotational brownout. We missed the social media announcement. But, to save the day to be worthwhile, we booked in this hostel. The Front Desk was so accommodating and even gave us complimentary early check in to ease ourselves from stress. The guards at the Front was so nice, too. The location is just at the Corner Entry to Cebu Business Park coming from Hipodromo. It is very convenient and accessible. The room was decent. The AC works well. The TV was WiFi-ready. The bed was comfortable. However, the shower was broken. The water spill on the valve between the main faucet and the overhead shower. The elevation of the guest room floor and the shower floor was too thin that makes the water from the shower to spill going to the room. The window was dirty with watermarks and dust-turned-cement residues. The towel hook was also out-of-place as a hanged towel will get when you turn on the shower. I think the planning was not carefully thought of. I do not know. The plus were the refrigerator and the microwave oven. It was a good try but might not come back."

"Probably the cheapest Guest house in Cebu. Free water dispenser and possibility to use hangers on terrace to dry clothes. On the heights in Lahug, Cebu city, the place is totally quiet, no cars nor motorbikes nor roosters. The young people taking care of the guest house are really nice."

"Happy Nest Hostel Cebu is a good place to stay if you’re looking for something affordable and comfortable. The hostel is clean, the beds are decent, and the common areas are well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, which makes the stay more pleasant. The location is convenient for getting around Cebu, and it’s suitable for solo travelers or backpackers. Overall, it’s a good value for money, and I would recommend it for travelers who want a simple, budget-friendly stay."

"Good location with easy access to restaurants and public transportation. The only area for improvement is the shower, as the water flow is strong but takes to get wet. Overall, it's worth the price and offers good value for money."

"Mary Ann and her staffs are the best host. This trip happened during the typhoon. They helped and manage everyone by giving food and making everyone is safe inside their hostel."

"It was very good. However, the location is in the Honkera area. The first Japanese Restricted area. Lol lol lol. The room is comfortable and has all the facilities like a microwave, refrigerator, kettle, hot shower, washable by hand, TV, easy to operate, and breakfast included. Free water, right next to 7-Eleven, right next to department store."
