I came to make up my homework. I saw this store on the Internet before May 1st and wanted to come to a staycation on May 1st. In order to experience this hotel, I paired it with Yele Lake and asbestos for a day. It was indeed the most satisfying day in the hotel. It was also why I was willing to write an evaluation for it seriously. reason. , #service, The most surprising thing is the service. First, we came to greet our border pastor without arriving at the hotel entrance. Second, we had some strange needs. When we had some strange needs, we were not surprised and complained. I ignored it, but responded in time. Resolution, although I only stayed for one night, Like the boss and the housekeeper, #Room facilities, The actual conditions and scenery of the room and what you see on the Internet are not only restored, but also unexpected small layouts, such as the vinyl in the room, the bathroom and toilet are completely separated from wet and dry. The room area is 3 adults with dogs are not crowded, #restaurant, there are no other facilities around, but the hotel's own restaurant we like very much, very fresh and light, with the feeling of the original farmhouse, lunch is a la carte, and the price of the outside restaurant is similar, but the weight is very sufficient, The menu is also very careful. In the evening, I set a cured pork rib soup pot, the cured flavor is prominent, unlike other places, it is either salty or Chen, salty and light, the quality of the ingredients themselves is also very good, the key price is cheap, 328 is enough for 4 people to eat. Breakfast seems to be self-service, but according to the head, one by one, it should be handmade, not prefabricated, there are sausages, it is said to be self-filled, very fragrant.

The cost of commuting almost equaled the accommodation fee. After entering the mountain, the road frequently had collapsing sections and was very narrow. After leaving Shimian County, we often encountered muddy roads that had been dug up. At 7km from the hotel, the road narrowed to allow only one car to pass, and at 3.8km, half the road had collapsed, making it extremely dangerous. Closer to the hotel, road conditions improved, but there were livestock blocking the path everywhere and droppings all over the place. The mountain roads had many sharp turns, but the guardrails had been destroyed by rolling rocks and were not maintained. I usually don't get car sick, but this time I really did.
**Hygiene:** A lot of wood was used to build the housing, such as balconies, entrance steps, the pier, the fire pit bar, and the hot springs. However, there were many insects, so every crevice was full of unknown bugs. The toiletries and bedding were in good hygienic condition.
**Environment:** I was attracted by the hotel's宣传, and after repeatedly checking review photos and related notes, I finally decided to travel here with my wife. However, what we saw upon arrival were signs of what could only be described as dereliction. The metal on the main gate was severely corroded, half of the golden hotel name had even been chipped off, the entrance was completely blocked by debris, and no security guard was in sight. The gate groaned as it opened, as if I wasn't coming for a vacation but for an adventure in an ancient castle. The description of 'lush greenery by the shore' was completely unrelated; the lakeside only had countless weeds and uneven, unidentifiable vegetation. Perhaps fishermen would like such an environment, but I saw a mess full of camping traces with no place to step, and thick vegetation that would snag you if you passed by, so I reluctantly left. Who would have thought that people once barbecued, ate, and drank by this shore, or that countless couples tied the knot here? The road around the lake hadn't been maintained for a long time and was covered in livestock droppings. If anyone maintained this road, it must be the flies and butterflies. The streetlights were corroded and pushed up by plants growing from underground; the road surface was covered by vegetation, hiding any past traces. Even the gaps in the hot spring wooden boards were filled with black, unknown grime, which made my wife and I give up on the idea of soaking in the hot springs. The chapel in the water had discolored in parts from exposure to wind and sun, and people were renovating it from morning till night during our two-day stay.
**Dining:** Only beef hotpot and lamb hotpot were available, priced at 380 per pot. Having read the reviews, I chose not to eat them. For breakfast, I selected noodles, dessert, watermelon, and milk. My review is that even my own cooking is better than this. The chef was very attentive; when we found an insect in the noodles, they immediately made us a new bowl. The restaurant's decor was also very thoughtful, but there were no signs of maintenance. The exterior wall had been scratched with large metallic marks, presumably by unruly children or something else. However, the menu was clearly not very thoughtful, though perhaps it once offered a rich variety of food.
**Overall:** Perhaps I came at the wrong time, or maybe it was indeed great when it first opened, but for reasons I cannot ascertain, this is how the hotel appeared before my eyes. In fact, my wife and I initially wanted to have a destination wedding here, but we gave up on that idea after witnessing the deplorable state of the place. It's very exquisitely designed, achieving quite impressive results with limited resources, so much so that even in its current state, the photo opportunities are still good. A small stream that used to wind from the mountains through the sea-view rooms and into the lake is now dried up. The fire pit bar still has piled firewood, and the central stove still bears witness to people gathering around the fire to eat and laugh joyfully at dusk, but now there's only metal eroded by moss, and insects crawling out of the wood to patrol their territory. Perhaps it's precisely because of limited resources that maintenance is impossible. I was truly touched by the remaining hotel staff who are still striving to operate, but my beautiful dream has truly been shattered.

Guest UserThis trip completely exceeded my expectations! I initially only booked one night, but I was so captivated by the hotel's ambiance and scenery that I ended up staying an extra night! It's incredibly peaceful in the mountains, and the butler and staff are all very kind and attentive. The three meals served at the hotel are not only beautiful and exquisite but also delicious! A trip here is truly a refreshing experience for both mind and body. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located next to the Sichuan Mining Memory Museum, and it has a retro industrial style that I love. I especially recommend going up to the observation deck for a panoramic view of the Dadu River, the spiral intersection of the Ya'an-Xichang Expressway and the Luzhou-Shilin Expressway – it's truly spectacular. The private hot spring rooms are a great experience. The rooms on the first floor have a sizable courtyard, and the separation between rooms and between floors is excellent, ensuring exceptional privacy. It's perfect for families or those who enjoy hot springs, and I highly recommend this hotel.

Completely exceeded expectations. The room was very cozy, with meticulous attention to detail. The private hot spring in the room was exceptionally satisfying; the pure, natural water and refreshing fragrance made for a very relaxing bath. There were many activities throughout the day, making it a very fulfilling day. I participated in making sachets, impromptu activities, exploring the village, and singing karaoke – all quite fun! The food was exquisite and delicious. Everyone in the village was incredibly friendly and helpful; you could feel their genuine happiness. I plan to come back in July or August. Highly recommended!

Guest UserHaving learned that Sichuan Investment Group is developing a hot spring health resort town in Shimian, and based on my understanding of the Sichuan Investment Group and Howard Johnson brands, I decided to visit during the spring season.
Environment: The hotel is located in Caoke Township. The weather was sunny that day, and the scenery along the way was beautiful. The hotel is surrounded by mountains on three sides, and the air is fresh.
Facilities: The rooms have underfloor heating, air conditioning, and private hot springs. The hotel is equipped with a hot spring center (public pools of different temperatures, a children's ball pit, billiards, claw machines, board games, and a cinema), a restaurant, outdoor hot spring pools, an outdoor children's play area, and a courtyard filled with birdsong and fragrant flowers.
Dining: Breakfast is served by reservation and à la carte. Although the selection is limited, the portions are decent. Lunch and dinner can be ordered at the hotel restaurant. We ordered a hot pot, which was plentiful and had plenty of dipping sauces.
Road Conditions: After passing through the Ya'an-Xichang Expressway and the Luzhou-Shimian Expressway, there is an unlit tunnel on the way up the mountain. The road inside the tunnel is uneven, and construction trucks speed by, so extra caution is required.
Service: Average (later learned that Sichuan Investment Group might be fully responsible for operations).
Shortcomings:
1. The hotel opened for trial operation in November 2025, and the smell of renovation in the rooms was still noticeable. This may be due to factors such as the quality of the materials and construction, but also the lack of ventilation. The reason for the lack of daily ventilation is the absence of window screens; once the windows are opened, mosquitoes will enter. According to staff, they are currently in the process of purchasing window screens (perhaps these weren't considered in the design).
2. The private hot spring courtyard is spacious with a sunshade, and the control panel is easy to operate, but it lacks control over the water flow. When the water is dispensed, the spring water splashes everywhere, requiring extra caution to avoid getting wet or scalded. Windows must also be closed to prevent water from splashing onto the sofa and floor.
3. The floor tiles around the private hot spring pool had a large amount of what appeared to be moss. While the mountain area is humid, was sufficient consideration given to the material selection? The large amount of what appeared to be moss combined with the splashing spring water poses a significant safety hazard.
4. The second-floor rest area of the hot spring center is spacious and bright with many facilities, but the smell of new paint is still quite noticeable and requires a considerable amount of time to ventilate. Also, the claw machine releases the claw before moving the prize, perhaps to give guests the sensation of grabbing the prize.
Overall, the hotel has a quiet environment and complete facilities, but lacks attention to detail. Considering factors such as distance, price, and comfort, there are actually better options available. Hopefully, the hotel can improve its shortcomings and continuously enhance its facilities to attract more guests.
