It is close to the shopping districts of Haeseon-ga and Balhaegojin, and since it is a 15-minute walk from the Xinseo Market and the early morning market, it was convenient to go for a walk and have a meal in the morning. The facilities are excellent and clean. However, the entrance was a bit old and dark, so it was a little scary. The host was warm and took good care of me. It is excellent value for money."

"We chose a triple room for our family trip with the kids, and the layout was well-designed, not cramped at all. The three beds were perfect for everyone to rest comfortably. The room had great natural light and ventilation, and there were no strange odors from the floor or bathroom. The bedding was clearly changed for each new guest, which was very reassuring. The air conditioning worked powerfully for both heating and cooling, and there were plenty of outlets for charging. The staff provided excellent service, and it was convenient to get around and find places to eat nearby. Our whole family had a pleasant stay, and it was definitely a better value than booking separate rooms. This is our top choice for family travel!"

HanTing Hotel (Hunchun Railway Station)

"We chose this hotel because it was close to the train station and we only needed an overnight stay. The room was fine, the bed linen was clean. But when I dropped a hair tie and reached under the nightstand to get it, there was a lot of trash, hair, and dust. There's a grocery store in the hotel building, which is a plus. The receptionist is certainly an interesting guy. He wasn't in a hurry, considering people were traveling and could have checked in quickly. He didn't say hello, either on the day of our arrival or the next day. For some reason, he ended our stay at 8 a.m. when we went out for some fresh air (without bags and not returning the key), even though we could have easily stayed there until 12. When we returned from a walk and passed him, he didn't even mention it. This was so we'd get to the third floor, get to our room, and realize the door wouldn't open with the key, go downstairs, and ask him to resolve the issue. Why even bother checking people out early when they haven't even returned their keys and their check-out time hasn't even begun? It's a strange situation, both at the Hunchun Hotel and the Changchun Hotel. Maybe this is normal—people leave their rooms, meaning they've checked out. Basically, something went wrong toward the end of our trip."

"First off, I absolutely loved Atour's pillows! They're the same height as the ones I have at home. I stayed in 7 hotels during my trip, and Atour was by far the most comfortable sleep I had; I slept soundly all night long 👍🏻 Secondly, Atour's laundry room really impressed me. This hotel has 3 washing machines and 3 dryers, and there's a real-time usage display on the bottom right of the TV screen. You can quickly head downstairs as soon as you see an open machine, which is fantastic. Then there's the service – the front desk staff was incredibly polite and thoughtful, big thumbs up! She mentioned they offer free congee late at night if you're hungry, but we weren't, so we didn't order any. All in all, this hotel offers excellent value for money, and I'll definitely be staying here again."

"Several of the front desk staff are from North Korea, with no facial expressions, and their service awareness is not as good as that of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. The takeaway was delivered reluctantly, and the price-performance ratio is very low! Nearly 800 per night, and the breakfast is at the level of a chain hotel"

"The hotel is fantastic! It's beautiful, clean, and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The staff doesn't speak Russian, but the administrators speak English. There are plenty of shops selling food and other small items near the hotel, and you can grab a hot pot right on the street in the evening."

Hunchun Bohai Ancient Town Banshan Yue Homestay

"This is a great place to stay! It's the perfect combination of tranquility and entertainment. I was given a cozy and clean room with a beautiful view of the city and the sunrise. I requested a room that was quieter, and I couldn't even hear the music from the evening events. The breakfasts were delicious, and there was a good menu for lunch or dinner. The room had everything I needed. The reception staff was helpful, even if you didn't speak Chinese or English. Don't worry about your luggage or bags after shopping; you can take a shuttle to the hotel entrance, which is closer to your room."
