"Traditional motel which has been completely refurbished. Our room was comfortable for us and for our two little dogs. Nice shower. Good air conditioning, fridge and microwave. Next door convenience store is open all night."

"The location is perfectly fine and convenient for us. We can see the aircraft landing and departure clearly from our room. The toilet seat is too tall and not comfortable to use. Also I found spider webs located on the ceiling when I laid down on bed which made me feel uncomfortable."

"The most unique stay experience in the itinerary. The house in the 30s was old but clean and full of age. There is a second floor for guest rooms, and the first floor and basement are service spaces, which are comfortable. On the first floor, there is not only a dining room kitchen, but also a reading room, a display hall, and the most special is a small band performance on Saturdays. The basement is an entertainment room with all kinds of billiard games, billiards, table tennis, chess, piano, calligraphy and painting. All of these are available for guests to enjoy. Willing to cook by yourself, or go to any hall and room activities, feel like returning to your childhood home. Elder Donnie is amiable and personally sends guests to the room to introduce them. When we were free, we took us to visit the hall and tell about history. There were several batches of overseas primary school students living here to study. At the end, I reluctantly left a lot of souvenirs. It was still early to see the time. The elder suggested that we go to the nearby mountains to see the lake view, and installed a large package of bird food for us to take to the lake to tease the birds. Not only is it comfortable to live, the scenery outside the window is picturesque, but the town is where Superior Huanhu Tourism Headquarters is located. Quiet and leisurely! Will definitely go again next time!"

"Clerk was busy with another issue. Too busy to acknowledge new guests coming in. Breakfast was adequate. No eggs, (except hard boiled) no bacon or sausage. There was a waffle iron, bagels or bread to toast yogurt and apples/oranges"

"The room was clean. The bathroom was clean. There was a smell of cigarettes in the room. Check-in was good. Not a good location. Felt like an unsafe part of town. Also railroad tracks ran beside it. Trains running late at night and early in the morning. Biggest worry was no deadbolt on the room door. Overall feeling was an unsafe place to stay. "

"The location of the hotel is superior, it is very convenient for shopping, eating and traveling, the room is relatively large, the facilities are newer, and the bed is very comfortable. For breakfast, the child ordered a waffle sausage set at the restaurant downstairs (extra charge), but no sausage was served. When checking out, he said he thought we didn't want sausage but we were willing to pay for the set? The waiter's brain circuit is very strange."

"Hotel carpet is too dirty which staff is also agree and saying they need to be changed but price of stay is too costly as compare to cleaning"

"After reading the previous reviews I wondered if I had made a mistake. NO I DID NOT. This newly renovated BW in downtown Thunder Bay was second to none. Checkin was quick & very friendly. Limited, WELL light parking is available at the rear entrance m. This is where the luggage carts are located. Room 401 was clean & bright.& warm ( -28°c outside) Breakfast was very good & filling. Staff were very kind & hospitable. Yes I will stay again."
