However, due to ongoing construction at the station, many trains are experiencing significant delays and skipping stops. For example, trains to Milan are bypassing this station, meaning you have to wait for the next one, which can be quite inconvenient and disrupt your travel plans. Travelers heading to other parts of Italy might want to consider this. There's also a cable car station nearby for mountain access."

"The location is fantastic, right by the train station. The lady at the front desk was warm and friendly; she checked us in early and meticulously explained the breakfast, Wi-Fi password, and how to enter after hours. The room has a small kitchen with a microwave, fridge, and various utensils, though we didn't use them – it felt very convenient for cooking. There's also a coffee machine in the room, so we enjoyed a capsule coffee every day when we returned to the hotel. Breakfast was very rich; their croissants were even better than those in German-speaking areas, and there was a huge variety of fruit – a real treat for fruit lovers! The only downside is that the bathroom has no ventilation, so you have to open the window to air it out. Also, the extra bed, once pulled out, blocks the clothes rack, and I wasn't strong enough to fold the bed away, which made hanging clothes a bit inconvenient. However, these are minor issues; everything else was great. Next time I'm in Lugano, I'll definitely stay here again, haha!"

"This place wasn't as bad as others described. While tableware and dishes weren't provided, the front desk staff will provide them for free if you ask, along with dish soap. The staff were friendly. Of course, it would be even better if they provided tableware, dishes, and water glasses without you having to ask. My room also had air conditioning, which was fine even running all day; it was really refreshing in the hot Lugano. However, the bathroom design wasn't ideal; water easily splashed all over the floor when showering. It would be better if they provided two extra towels in the bathroom. The washing machine and dryer were free to use, including detergent, a lifesaver on a long trip, saving you 10 CHF! 👍🏻"

"From platform 1 of the train station, walk 200 meters up the slope to the hotel. If you go to Lake Lugano, you have to cross the train station and then go down the stairs. The hotel is beautiful, clean and has a swimming pool, but it's a pity that we didn't have time to swim. recommend."

This hotel is of old aristocratic style, located right by Lake Lugano. Its location is impeccable, and its biggest advantage lies in its design. The furnishings, gardens, and rooms are all magnificent, showing the Europeans' particularity. The only drawback is that the dining is rather average.

Stayed at this hotel for five nights in Lugano. The hotel is in a good location for five minutes walk to the lake. Next to the hotel is the 2nd bus to Lugano Railway Station. The breakfast Western-style taste can be good for fruit bread. The hotel is also quiet. You can choose him when you go to Lugano.

Sitting on the balcony of the room, listening to birds, drinking a little wine, and admiring the lights of Lugano Lake and the mountain homes on the opposite side, it is really a treat. The room is equipped with an electric kettle, shampoo, and shower gel. You need to bring your own dental appliances and slippers.

The room is unimaginably large, and it is a luxury hotel with a very high cost-effectiveness. The kitchen is fully equipped, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Lunogazha Lake and mountains from the huge balcony. The endless mountains opposite are like ”planted” with houses. At night, the lights of thousands of houses are magnificent, and the green mountains, green waters, red tiles and yellow walls, the colorful and beautiful scenery is unparalleled. The breakfast on the second day was varied, colorful and delicious. We ate a lot of salmon and various fruits and vegetables, which made us like it so much that we didn't want to leave. If we hadn't booked a hotel in Lucerne on Ctrip, we would have stayed and enjoyed it. If we come again next time, we will definitely choose this one. After checking out, you can also book a hotel car to take you to the train station.

If you're a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, this place might not be for you. It's right by a busy street, so expect constant traffic noise that can easily disturb sleep. However, the natural surroundings are lovely – the lake is just across the road below, and you'll even spot early morning joggers before sunrise. For light sleepers, keeping the windows closed, running the AC, and having earplugs handy could help.

I stayed at Best Western Hotel Bellevue au Lac for just one night, but it was a truly pleasant experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, the room was spotless, and the location was perfect—right by the lake with beautiful views. The food was delicious, and overall, everything exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely love to return for a longer stay next time!

Not far from the Lugano train station, there is a bus directly to the city of Lugano at the doorstep, which is quite convenient. The interior of the room is older, but it is clean and air conditioned, making it quite comfortable. Breakfast costs only 10 Swiss francs, but there are fewer choices.

Beautiful, right near the lake with a restaurant and bar. Owner is lovely and takes great pride in making sure your stay is great. Why there’s 4 stars - location is a far walk from the downtown, and there were little ants in the room. It was great for us but if you can’t handle that this wouldn’t be for you.
