The hotel is located in Haokun Village. After exiting the highway, it's a ten-minute drive along a mountain road, including two steep downhill sections with sharp turns, which can be dangerous at night. There's an entrance fee to the village, but hotel guests are exempt from the entrance fee. After crossing a distinctive covered bridge, you'll see the hotel at the end of the lake. This hotel is arguably the best in Haokun Lake in terms of appearance, size, and facilities. Our room was spacious, with a nice view of the lake from the window. The only drawbacks were the steps around the sink and bathtub, and the slightly sunken bathroom floor. Although the hotel had marked the steps, it was still easy to slip and fall. The showerhead had a strong water pressure and was easy to use; the hairdryer and other amenities were good. The front desk staff were very friendly and attentive. Since there's no elevator, they carried our luggage up and down the stairs; any amenities we needed were promptly delivered to our room. Their service was commendable! When we visited, the hotel restaurant was under renovation, so only a simple breakfast was available. Dinner had to be found outside; there were several restaurants near the covered bridge, and the food was decent. Haokun Lake has beautiful scenery and clear, emerald-green water, but it is smaller than Quyang Lake. In winter, the water volume is not abundant enough, so the scenery is not as good as in summer.

The three-bed room is spacious and the layout is reasonable. The lighting design is very atmospheric, the bedside lamp belt and the top ambiance light make the room look warm and stylish. The decoration style is simple and modern, the walls and floor materials look clean and easy to take care of, and the overall texture is good. The location of the hotel is easy to find. You can drive into the city and arrive there in a short time. There is a small parking lot, but not many parking spaces. The insulation is too poor and the dishes are basically cold. Fortunately, there are boiled noodles, otherwise it is impossible to eat in such a cold weather... The hotel only gives 2 bottles of bottled water. You can't ask for more bottles (you have to pay). I have stayed in cheap and expensive hotels all over the country, and none of them said they would not give it...

I booked this for a friend who was visiting Jingxi. It was quiet and cool at night, and the price wasn't expensive. It might be more expensive during peak season, especially since it's in a tourist area. One thing I considered when booking was that breakfast was included, as we had a child and it might be inconvenient to go out for breakfast in the morning. Overall, I was very satisfied. (The only area for improvement, in my opinion, is the bed. The double bed we booked would have been better if it were wider and longer. A tall guy (around 1.8 meters) might not have slept well. I didn't stay there myself, just took a look, and the bed seemed a bit short, but it would be fine for a girl.)

I arrived in Jingxi by car and randomly picked this hotel, mainly because of its location right behind the Jingxi train station. The owner was very warm and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. The room was spacious and tidy, very clean, and extremely quiet. All the facilities were complete. It offers great value for money and is definitely worth staying at.
