"On the way to Shangri-La, I chose to stay in Derong County for one night. This hotel has a very good environment and the service is warm and thoughtful; the room facilities are perfect and clean! The overall experience is good. After the lack of sleep and high reaction in Ganzi the night before, I finally had a good night's sleep in this hotel after going down the mountain! The next day, you can drive to the Red Army Bridge to visit the Derong County National Museum (the Red Army Long March Memorial Hall), which is very worthwhile!"

"I usually don't leave hotel reviews, but at my husband's request, I said I should give it a good one! I booked this for him, and he said it's a very good hotel for the area, very comfortable! Looking out the window, the sun is shining brightly, like golden rays illuminating the mountains! The food in the restaurant was also quite good! (The clothes on the bed were thrown on by my husband, haha.)"

"The ratings were quite high, but I was a bit disappointed. The service was terrible; they were indifferent and barely paid attention to me. Also, the guesthouse didn't inform me about a power outage during check-in; I only found out from other guests asking, and since I was already checked in, it was difficult to get a refund. The guesthouse environment was also mediocre; the swing and chairs in the courtyard were filthy."

"That's a very astonishing place ! The location in the canyon is gorgeous. Laoban and its staff is very welcoming. The ”room” is nice, quite hot when you enter it but aircon works fine. Bed is confortable, shower (separated from the toilets) works fine. There are just so minor issues and connexion isn't good : bring a book !"

"To the Merry Snow Mountain tour, I lived in Waka Town, Derong County, Sichuan, opposite Benzilan, Diqing County, Yunnan. It was very close to the bridge. A very good stay experience, the boss is very warm, the room is clean and the facilities are perfect. The restaurant downstairs tastes very good, very Sichuan."
