"Extremely satisfied. You can see the owner's dedication everywhere, with all your leisure needs at your fingertips, offering care without intrusion. The location is right in the center of the Dong Village, so you can step out for meals and enjoy the lively bonfire party. Or, you can quietly sit in the exquisite courtyard, sipping tea and chatting, with a full range of teas and brewing tools provided. The swaying hydrangeas, the fragrant honeysuckle, red maples, succulents, money plants... every green plant you see reflects thoughtful design. I usually don't prefer B&Bs, but stealing two days of leisure here was a wonderful, calming experience. The mattress conformed to ergonomic support, and the toiletries were a complete set with gardenia scent. The room design matched the Dong Village style. In the lobby and rooms, there were also sets of books introducing the culture of Jiangkou County, along with other paperbacks. The laundry room had a washer and dryer, and even several types of laundry detergent to choose from – all in all, thoughtful arrangements without being intrusive. The set breakfast was light and varied, a nice change from the sour soup fish and beef found everywhere in Guizhou for lunch and dinner, helping to regulate the stomach. For a two-day trip to Fanjing Mountain, choosing this place was definitely the right decision."

"This hotel is reportedly the best standard in the Fanjing Mountain scenic area. It's very close to the Fanjingshan East Gate. The river facing the hotel rooms is incredibly clear. At night, with the windows open, falling asleep to the sound of the river brought back memories of childhood nights in the countryside. The bridge over the river is a fantastic spot for photos; it's very picturesque, featuring traditional ethnic themes and artistic elements, combined with classic Chinese covered bridge architecture. From the room, looking out, the river, bridge, and ancient willow trees perfectly form a beautiful painting."

"I booked a twin room but got upgraded to a king-size room. The room was very bright and smart, and the bed was super comfortable, I had a great night's sleep. Most importantly, it's very close to the East Gate Tourist Center and the ticket office, so I could come back and drive after hiking the mountain, saving me parking fees. The small courtyard environment is also very thoughtfully designed, it should be especially comfortable in the summer. The owner was very friendly. A satisfying stay, definitely five-star!"

"This was the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on! I had the best nights sleep. The room was really lovely, the bathroom had everything you could want. The only thing I was a little disappointed by was the front desk. She was really lovely, but gave me incorrect information on when the last bus left Tongren - she said it was 4pm but when I arrived at 5:30pm I was still able to get one. I also didn’t get any info on shortcuts etc that the other reviews mentioned, which is a big part of the reason I booked this place."

"Great B&B with strategic & convenient location with different choices of eateries within walking distance. Just a few minutes walk to FanjingShan entrance The owner sent us to KFC nearby with his car and fetched us back with his scooter as car not allowed to enter area where KFC is located. We booked 3 different rooms, all of them are spacious and with great design. This room is perfect for family gathering as we were on family trip. The only area of improvement is the floor that feels dusty on bare foot."

"The B&B's location is super convenient, and the room was spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could ask for. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming. I hadn't booked Fanjing Mountain tickets online before arriving and found out they were fully booked. The staff member was so kind and went out of her way to help me find tickets. I also accidentally left my room key card at the supermarket when I went to buy snacks, and they proactively went to retrieve it for me. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!"

"The hotel is conveniently located about 300 meters from the east gate of Fanjing Mountain, within walking distance, and it even has its own parking lot. The room was spacious and very clean. I stayed in a river-view room, and it was so peaceful sitting on the balcony listening to the sound of the stream. The hotel also offers dining options. After hiking, it was incredibly comfortable to enjoy authentic sour soup beef in the courtyard (I ordered the small portion, and they gave a huge amount, plus it was fresh beef!). The owner was also fantastic. I was planning to visit the Grand Canyon the next day, but the hotel was so comfortable that I decided to extend my stay instead of leaving. All in all, I'm really glad I chose such a great hotel."

"A perfect experience! A hidden gem of a guesthouse at the foot of Fanjingshan. I specifically chose the Shanhe Xiaoyang Guesthouse for my trip to Fanjingshan, and the location is absolutely incredible – right next to the scenic area. It saved us the hassle of traveling, and we could easily start our journey on foot. The guesthouse interior was super clean, and the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, making for a very comfortable stay. The owner and staff provided exceptional service, answering all our questions and even proactively sharing hiking tips, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room was well-equipped, the TV had a clear picture, so we could relax and watch some shows after coming back in the evening. The biggest surprise was the free parking, so we didn't have to worry about parking at all since we drove. Next time I visit Fanjingshan, I'll definitely choose this place again!"

GGuest UserWe booked a 114 Sq m two bedroom suite w/ a balcony in a historical building. The suite was very nice but the bathroom shower area needed improvement. They served good food at their restaurant and all the staff were extremely helpful. This guesthouse is very interesting. The front part is the original 80-90 years old building & the structure is well preserved. The owner took us around & explained the history behind it. The building at the back, where all the rooms are located, was built in 2009. They used all the old wooden doors & kept the design matching the front. The guesthouse is 1.3km from Mount Fanjing, good location. Everyone was so nice there and made us feel so much at home. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Mount Fanjing.

The room is also super big, and there is a swimming pool outside. The water is very clean and cool. It feels like it flows directly from the mountains. You can play in the water! Because we are in the mountains, it will be a bit humid, but there is an electric blanket on the bed. You can turn it on to warm it up before going to bed~ There is also breakfast in the morning. Although it is not as rich as the hotel buffet, it is freshly cooked by the aunt and is also very fresh and delicious😋 It is also very close to Fanjing Mountain. It only takes three minutes by car. After telling the boss about the time, he will send you there. When you return to Tongren city later, you can also ask the boss to book a taxi for you! The boss's service attitude is really great! I highly recommend everyone to stay here. If the itinerary was not so full, I could really stay for two more days🥰

Waking up and pulling back the curtains in the morning, I was greeted by a soft mist cloaking the distant views and the river, truly like a wonderland. A stroll down to the riverbank was incredibly invigorating. I'll definitely return for another stay if time permits. It happened to be the Dragon Boat Festival, and the owner thoughtfully prepared Zongzi (rice dumplings) and the local specialty, Miancai Ba, early that morning. It gave me such a heartwarming, home-away-from-home feeling.

There is a river behind the B&B and the scenery is very nice. There is free breakfast and the noodles cooked by the boss are good. You can order food at the boss's house. The food is large and delicious. The boss is very nice to talk to and provides pick-up and drop-off at the tourist center, bus station, entrance to the scenic spot, and Zhaisha Dong Village, which is very convenient. Before choosing a place, I hesitated about whether to stay closer to the scenic area entrance, but based on my experience, I would recommend staying directly in the village. It's more physically demanding for hiking, and meals are more convenient. The owner can pick you up and drop you off at the scenic area entrance. We also found out after arriving that you can arrange pick-up and drop-off services in Tongren city in advance, and the price is slightly cheaper than taking a taxi. The owners are very easy to talk to, so there's no need to worry about any disputes. Although the facilities aren't particularly high-end, it's worth the price.

HHR101Very grateful to return to a cozy clean room after a cold cloudy day on the mountain. Very good facilities in the room for the price. We appreciated the early check in allowing us to store our bags in the room before going to the mountain. Hot powerful shower, smart toilet, and good TV. Restaurant downstairs was Ok, there is more food 5 minute walk west. It's right behind the main entrance to the mountain, very convenient. For traveller info - we took the bus to Zhenyuan the next day, tickets available at the counter immediately next to the park entrance ticket. 1 bus a day at 09:30 in December. High quakity minivan, we had it all to ourselves ¥126pp. Hotel is great value for money.

He personally picked us up outside the scenic area and even escorted us out when we checked out. He even offered to take guests from other B&Bs along the way. His generosity was undeniable! Even better, he recommended a shortcut to the summit of Fanjing Mountain, saving us a ton of time. A huge thumbs-up! 👍 The food was absolutely amazing. The auntie's home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious! The fried fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the breakfast noodles were generous and delicious. Every meal was incredibly satisfying, and it felt like eating at home. The location was super convenient. The B&B is right inside the scenic area, making it effortless to get in and out. No need to travel back and forth, making your trip incredibly efficient. The environment was very pleasant. The B&B is stylish, the grounds are spacious and tidy, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It was a truly comfortable stay, a true home away from home. If you want to stay comfortably, eat happily and have fun in Fanjing Mountain, Longting Courtyard is the right choice. I sincerely recommend it to everyone!

MM34416****The lady at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and warm. We didn't arrive until 10:30 PM, but she had called us earlier to confirm our arrival time and even upgraded our room. The air conditioning was wonderfully warm, the hot water was excellent, and the bedding was very comfortable. She also allowed us to park our car directly in front of the guesthouse. Even after check-out, she mentioned that we could still come back to the guesthouse for a free shower and to change clothes after descending Mount Fanjing. This place absolutely deserves a huge thumbs up!

My parents called me, and I quickly clarified that their room included breakfast, and only then was they not charged. The stay was extremely poor, and the hygiene was appalling.
