"This is an older five-star hotel, and while the decor is about a decade old, the bed was super comfortable and it was quiet at night, which made for a great sleep. The best part is its fantastic location right in the central business district. Metro Line 2's Exit G is right outside, and it's just a few minutes walk to Sanjie Liangxiang, Zhongshan Road Night Market, and the Yongjiang River. It was incredibly convenient for evening strolls! The breakfast definitely lived up to the standard of an established hotel, even featuring local specialties from Guangdong and Guangxi. They also offer a special morning tea (available for an extra charge, and the hotel provides coupons). Unfortunately, I missed it because I had an early train to catch, but I'd love to try it next time!"

"This hotel is absolutely gorgeous, I'd give it five stars! As soon as we stepped into the lobby, it felt incredibly clean and bright. The front desk staff greeted us with a lovely smile and were so gentle. Our room was big and spotless, and the bed was so soft and comfortable. Outside the window, we had a beautiful view, and the room itself had a pleasant fragrance. The hotel environment was also excellent, very quiet and peaceful, not noisy at all. All the staff were very polite and always greeted us. The facilities here are also very comprehensive, making our stay feel incredibly secure. "The room was a bit dated, but exceptionally clean. For a guesthouse, the facilities were perfectly fine, and the soundproofing was actually quite good. "I chose a hotel near Nanning East Station, and it was a quick six or seven-minute taxi ride. There are several residential areas nearby, with convenient small restaurants, convenience stores, and fruit shops. Since I was traveling with my elderly parents and wasn't comfortable letting them stay in a separate room, I opted for a room with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was quite spacious and very comfortable for sleeping. The hotel also thoughtfully provided a non-slip mat in the bathroom, which had a great wet and dry separation. The soundproofing and blackout curtains were excellent, and the air conditioning was quiet. It's really important to find a place where my parents can get a deep sleep when we travel. There's also a laundry room on the sixth floor, which is very convenient, and the hotel offers great value for money."

However, to be fair, the service and attitude of some individual staff members in the executive lounge towards children could use some improvement."

The room is beautiful. Very comfortable large bed and great pillows. The bathroom was good. Plenty of storage. Everything is spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good, with a good range of food. The location was convenient to the metro, walking distance to two shopping malls and parks. Beautiful shared spaces in the lobby, nice decor. We appreciated the 1pm checkout time. We would stay again!

LlynecottonLet's get straight to the point. Regarding this hotel, from a family travel perspective, I do not recommend it. Families with children should probably avoid it. Reason one: Children aged 6 and above are charged half price for breakfast. While 50 yuan isn't expensive, my child only ate two sausages and two donuts. Reason two: There's very little for kids to do. There's only one swimming pool, barely two proper lanes wide. The small ball pit next to the breakfast area is only open during the dinner buffet. There's nothing else to entertain children. Reason three: There are very few family-friendly attractions within walking distance. We didn't go to Qingxiu Mountain, which might be suitable for older kids. If you're traveling for business, this hotel is fine. I'd like to commend the proactive and helpful concierge at the entrance who opened doors and handled luggage. The front desk staff were standard—neither overly enthusiastic nor unfriendly, just middle-of-the-road. A customer service manager did contact me before check-in to inquire about my stay, but I was busy at the time and didn't get a clear explanation of what they needed. When we checked out, someone specifically approached us asking for a five-star review, but I was busy checking in for my flight and the call was cut short. Upon check-in, they provided toothbrushes and slippers for the child. The front desk on the 80th floor consists of three desks, similar to those for bank wealth managers, positioned right as you exit the elevator. You check-in while seated. There are no signs indicating who is responsible for what, but you can just go to any available staff member. My only discomfort was that it's been a long time since I stayed at a 4-star-plus hotel booked through Trip.com that didn't allow check-in without a deposit. I had to pay a 1000 yuan deposit, which didn't cause any real inconvenience, but it just felt off. Breakfast is about a 4-star standard. The highlight is Luosifen (snail noodles), and the pastries seemed freshly made and tasted good. Freshly squeezed juice was available, but other than that, there wasn't much special, and the variety was limited. Perhaps I had too high expectations after reading reviews. The room was very spacious, the bed was high, and it was quiet. However, the layout was a bit confusing to navigate. Despite the low occupancy, my room was very far from the elevator. Maybe it was for a better view? In summary, this can be classified as a 4-star business hotel on the 80th floor. It truly lives up to its name of being a 'selection' hotel. The view outside was just three tall buildings. I was slightly disappointed. We checked in around 7 PM and left the next morning feeling bored. There was an option to borrow traditional ethnic costumes for a 1000 yuan deposit per set. They lacked distinctiveness or suitable backdrops for photos, so we just took a few pictures in the room. The clothes were quite new and clean. The overall atmosphere felt a bit sterile. The walk from the ground floor lobby to the elevators was very spacious and empty.

GGuest UserOverall, a fair 4-star rating. **View:** The river view from the window was very satisfying. **Room:** The apartment is located in a green energy commercial building, which is a prime location (though a bit noisy during the day). The common areas on the different floors are old and messy. The room design itself is good, with smart home features throughout, and disposable bath towels, regular towels, and bath bags provided. However, the in-room facilities are just average; the hot water for the bathtub and shower wasn't very hot. Also, the room supplies (water, hand soap, bathing products) were unbranded, and the kettle leaked from the spout, spilling hot water when opened and scalding my hand. I suggest improving these aspects; it wouldn't cost much but would significantly enhance the guest experience.

The only thing is the air conditioning made me a bit cold. Environment: The overall environment is pretty good. Service: Excellent. As soon as we pulled up, someone immediately helped us with our luggage. After check-in, they also proactively guided us to our room with our bags. We arrived late last night, and the front desk attendant even upgraded me to a suite. Many thanks.

The toiletries are from Marriott's Megu Ailanna series, and I absolutely love their special fragrance. The room was quite spacious. Since it wasn't peak season during my stay, I received a complimentary upgrade to a larger room. The furniture and bedding in the room were, as always, incredibly comfortable. The food, of course, also incorporated local specialties and was delicious!

I have to praise the breakfast rice noodles – freshly made to order, the noodles were smooth and springy, and the toppings were abundant. Starting the day with a hot, authentic bowl really set me up for a great day. The service was thoughtful, and it was great value for money. Highly recommended! MixC Mall, Hang Yang City & Convention & Exhibition Center are in short distance taking taxi is ~CNY10-15 & convenient, as taxi stand is just right in front of the walk way to the building. The apartment building & the unit itself are old and don't have enough maintenance, they offer the kitchen but if staying less than a month, it's almost useless as they don't provide any of the kitchenware at all, except the electric kettle, not even the proper glasses nor utensils, only 2 daily paper cups in the bathroom. Room facilities & many little things in the unit are all run down & don't have proper maintenance like door knobs, handles, shower, kitchen taps, table, etc, cleanliness is not good enough, however, the bed sheets & bedding stuff are clean enough with no smell. They offer the daily cleaning, but just floor clean, no change of anything, no drinking water provided. The amenities are very basic & few, most are disposable, better bring your own, anyhow, some requests are well responsive like we request to change the kettle, cause it is out of order, 1 additional chair as they provide only 1 chair in the unit & laundry detergent. In overall, if you don't mind and can bare those run down facilities with not good enough maintenance, it is a value for money to stay in such location in good neighborhood.

MM441247****The service was warm and attentive. As soon as our family got out of the taxi, someone helped us with our luggage and pushed the stroller to check-in. They even gave us two small toys because they saw we had a child. They also brought plenty of water, worried that our child might have trouble adjusting to the new environment. We booked a suite, which was large, though the decor was a bit dated. However, the hotel informed us immediately and offered to change rooms. But seeing the large room, thick carpet, and spacious bathtub, we were already very satisfied, and the price was reasonable. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of freshly stir-fried vegetables – bok choy, cauliflower, lotus root slices, and sweet peas. The Lao You Fen (a type of rice noodle soup) was also quite tasty. Compared to other hotels with their large quantities of pre-made sausages, chicken nuggets, and steamed buns, I think this place is more suitable for tourists who want to enjoy some vegetarian dishes to balance things out. For more delicious food, you can go to a specialty restaurant outside. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and transportation is quite convenient.
