"I highly recommend the Hilton Putian Sanfang! The location is absolutely superb, right in the commercial and government hub. It's within walking distance of the Xinghua Mansion historical district, and there's direct bus access to the Meizhou Island ferry terminal, making getting around incredibly convenient. Upon check-in, I received a warm DoubleTree cookie, and the front desk kindly upgraded my room. The room was spacious and bright, with soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the Crabtree & Evelyn amenities were a nice touch.
The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options, with some hidden Putian specialties. The fried wontons, oyster cakes, and noodle paste were authentic and flavorful, and the freshly squeezed juices and made-to-order seafood congee were fantastic. The hotel facilities are excellent, with a free indoor pool and fitness center. The staff were enthusiastic and professional, always ready to answer any questions. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is a perfect fit and offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Putian!"

"I saw online that a celebrity stayed at this hotel during a concert, so I specifically came to check it out and experience the same. First, let's talk about the pros: since it's a new hotel, the facilities and equipment are quite new and complete, the pool is clean, and the staff are very enthusiastic. They called me in advance to ask about my needs. The bedding is clean, and the overall hygiene is good. The cons are that because of its lakeside location, there can be some wind noise at night. Surprisingly, there's even a KTV on the 5th floor of the hotel. Although I was given a higher-floor room that wasn't too noisy, there was still some vibration. The inclusion of a KTV is quite unexpected. There's no spa or mahjong room, which is a bit of a mixed bag. Still, it's worth recommending for the experience, and the lake view is indeed great."

"The shangri-la putian is conveniently located opposite a huge shopping mall and beside a garden. The room was nice and cosy and the service was attentive and impeccable, with Melvin (?) accompanying us to the room and constantly asked if we needed help with anything. All the staff were friendly and helpful and gave us many suggestions on where we could go during our stay and rarely have we experienced such excellent level of hospitality when staying at similar hotels. The river view we had was amazing. Food at shang garden was tasty, and Lydia's service was excellent, offering us extra snacks and soup. The portions served were huge and reasonably priced. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Putian!

"Fantastic hotel! Really appreciated the kindness and thoroughness of the staff who helped liase between the railway station and me when I accidentally left my bag on a train. Besides that, the doorman is also very attentive and kind, giving us tea when we were waiting for our Didi! The room is as clean, spacious, and well-furnished as it can be, with prompt and attentive cleaning every day. Breakfast was great with many tasty local options. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from Wanda Plaza."

"This was my first time in Kamata, and the area felt a bit dirty and disorganized. This Holiday Inn Express used to be the Oriental Hotel, which I assume is a local brand. It probably hasn't been part of the IHG group for long, though I specifically chose it because it's an IHG brand. The lobby looks like it was designed by a local, and the facilities on the first floor are a bit subpar. The tea room and restrooms feel like something you'd find in a small-town hotel. I believe the first-floor restaurant is currently under renovation. What really upset me was that the handle of my luggage broke after I checked it in with the hotel. The hotel refused to take responsibility, and I didn't have the energy to argue, so I can only give it a bad review. I definitely won't be staying here again."

"This is the only high-rise hotel on the island right by the sea. The front desk staff were very thoughtful and gave us the top-floor, middle sea-view room as requested, directly facing the sunrise. They also offer pier shuttle service. A minor drawback was that the large glass windows weren't clean, affecting the ocean view; they really need to be cleaned more often due to the humid sea breeze. However, in other aspects, this hotel is outstanding. It's an older hotel that's been recently renovated with modern facilities. The rooms are spacious, as are the bathrooms, and there's a luggage rack and a large wardrobe. The bedding and towels are all new and clean. What's particularly commendable is the mattress: it's very firm but not overly soft, better than some luxury five-star hotels. There are double-layer electric curtains that open automatically when you enter. The top circular ambient lighting is soft and beautiful. Lighted switch panels and night lights throughout are perfect for evening illumination. The desk has a glass top with rounded edges, and the chaise lounge is new and clean. The TV is very large. Although the toilet isn't a full-feature bidet, it does have automatic heated seat and washing functions. The breakfast offers a rich variety of Chinese dishes, though no fried eggs. The white rice flour cake, similar to a cupcake, was excellent. While the lobby coffee bar was closed and there were no dining services available outside of breakfast, the price (during the off-season) offered exceptional value for money, far surpassing seaside guesthouses."

"Overall, the hotel was a decent stay with a few drawbacks. It’s about a 12-minute walk from the train station, which is convenient, although the building looks a bit shady from the outside. Inside, however, it’s very clean, the rooms are brand new as well. We arrived at 1am and found it closed, so we had to call to check in, which was a bit inconvenient. The biggest downside was the noise, there were firecrackers and fireworks going off until 5am (likely due to New Year’s Eve), making it hard to sleep. Also, the room only had one towel for two people. Overall, clean and modern, but with some inconveniences."

GGuest UserEnvironment: The room on the third floor where my daughter and I lived was quite large and had a balcony. The store service is super super considerate. We were picked up by ferry and were introduced to the attractions as soon as we got on the bus. What impressed me most was that when I went to the supermarket, the boss saw that I had taken the wrong road, so he rode his bike to take us there personally. Very responsive to requests. The food at the small restaurant run by the boss's parents is also delicious and not expensive. My daughter and I ordered three large plates for only 90 yuan. The squid was very fresh, and the seafood noodles were so big that my 10-year-old daughter and I exclaimed that they were delicious and finished them all. There are no residents behind the house. I have sleep disorders and can't stand even the slightest noise. It's very quiet here and I sleep very well. The hygiene is very good. I work in the catering industry, so I pay special attention to this. I check the hygiene as soon as I enter the room, and there is nothing to complain about. My daughter and I always stay in five-star hotels when we go out, but we couldn’t book one this time, so we chose a hotel recommended by a customer on Xiaohongshu to give it a try. Unexpectedly, it was much better than I expected. The store is quite attentive. By the way, if you don’t like the internet-famous beach, you can go to the beach which is very close to the store. Just turn left at the entrance of the store and go all the way to the end. You can rent the whole beach. You deserve it

The location is very good, very close to Mazu Temple. The photos below were taken at the entrance of the B&B. The cloud swing is particularly beautiful to take pictures with, and the slope at the entrance can directly go to the beach. There are many small crabs under the rocks and sea glass. Meizhou Island on a sunny day. Although it is very sunny, the scenery is really beautiful. I will come again next time

GGuest UserWe booked a terrace room and balcony room for 6 people, including 2 over 60 years old and 2 over 70 years old. Because we felt good, we decided to stay one more day. The off-season gave us the opportunity to improvise and ”customize” :P The B&B has a good location, close to the beach, the central district, the Mazu Ancestral Temple, and the Tianfei Hometown. The public areas, rooms, and supplies in the rooms are clean and tidy. You can drink tea in the public area and enjoy the scenery on the terrace. The boss's family is kind, enthusiastic and thoughtful. We chartered an additional sightseeing bus for the boss, which made it convenient and less tiring for the elderly to travel. The boss and his wife prepared breakfast for us, and considering the elderly's physical condition, they also helped us recommend restaurants, introduce scenic spots, rent small electric motorcycles, etc. Since we wanted to cook our own meals, the boss took us to the vegetable market. We borrowed the kitchen and cooked delicious seafood. Afterwards, we washed the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen. We felt as comfortable as at home. Very satisfied with the homestay, recommended!

MM2cvw2xm2****My wife and I chose this place for our honeymoon because we loved their infinity pool. We initially booked a sea-view room, but later paid extra for their terrace pool room. The terrace directly faces the sea, offering panoramic views of the shimmering water and distant islands. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the terrace was an amazing experience. Location: Located on Lianchi'ao Beach, the guesthouse is built right on the beach, offering stunning sea views right from the room door. Room amenities: 2. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. The private pool on the terrace was a unique feature; after swimming, we relaxed on the lounge chairs next to the pool, enjoying the sea breeze – so relaxing we didn't want to leave. The room's decor was simple yet stylish, with wooden floors and large windows providing excellent natural light. It even had a projector, so we could watch movies with the sea view from bed at night.
The package includes complimentary pier pick-up and drop-off, exquisite breakfast and afternoon tea with a variety of delicious snacks, fruits, and drinks. Enjoying these on the terrace with the sea view creates a truly special experience. The infinity pool on the first floor is also very photogenic. Overall, the place is very clean, the service is attentive, and the facilities are new, especially the comfortable lounge chairs.

The room was clean, well-maintained, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the linens were fresh, and housekeeping took care of everything daily without reminders.
The staff were polite and helpful, check-in was smooth, and they responded quickly to any questions. The internet connection was stable, which was important for work.
Overall, the price-to-quality ratio is one of the best in the area. It’s a perfect option for both short and business trips.
I can definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay in Putian!

The biggest surprise was the hotel's EV charging stations in the parking lot, which was incredibly convenient for me driving a new energy vehicle. It was easy and quick to charge; these charging stations are so practical! The charging process was straightforward, and the efficiency was high, saving me a lot of time. I didn't have to worry about range anxiety at all. The staff were also super attentive, patient, and enthusiastic.

The accommodation itself was very comfortable and offered excellent value for money. I would definitely choose Fengdalin Hotel again on my next visit to Putian, and I highly recommend it to anyone!

EEm001I don’t really write reviews unless exceptionally good or bad but this is really a negative experience …
Firstly, not recommended if coming to stay in cold season (Autumn/ Winter/ Spring). The aircon/ heater system is centralised so you can’t adjust the temperature.
Secondly, according to the receptionist, they only have ONE tower fan so not really available.
Lastly, the attitude of receptionist and housekeeping is extremely unfriendly compared to before (I stayed here 3 times) and I put a good review in 2023. This time, the solution they provided to a female guest is to open the window and curtain at night for cold air… which I personally think is inconsiderate for a female guest.
I gave my feedback to the receptionist when I checked-out so hopefully they can add more tower fans to their inventory.

GGuest UserFirst off do not book here if you don't have a high level of spoken Chinese. You will need to phone the landlord to get shown to the apartment and get the keys. It is an apartment not a hotel and it is down a back alley with no signage (it's the door on the right on the third floor of the third apartment block down the first small 弄/alley off the bigger back street, turning left from the corner shop called 山土特产, but again you'll need the key). The landlord was friendly and helpful, gave some recommendations for the area and brought extra disposable towels when I asked. Cleanliness was not spectacular as there were some used tissues left on the floor by the bed (behind the bedside table) and there was no hand soap provided, but other than this I was satisfied with the stay. It is very well located for tourism in the Xinghuafu historic zone.
