"Pros: 1. The navigation was spot on, leading us right to the doorstep. Parking was available right in front of the guesthouse on the roadside. 2. The entire guesthouse was incredibly well-designed with a unique and personalized color scheme. We stayed in room 105, and the vibrant green rosemary in front of the white wall and blue door created a stunning visual impact. 3. The guesthouse is designed and run by a designer couple. The husband even participated in a government renovation project for old residences in Xianrendong Village. The wife thoughtfully gave us a key card, suggesting we leave the air conditioning on so the room would be comfortable when we returned – a really nice touch. 4. We were leaving early the next morning and didn't plan on having breakfast, but the wife quickly cooked some eggs and heated up some small steamed buns, packing them for us to eat on the road. So incredibly thoughtful. 5. Our room faced the lake. The weather was a bit overcast during our two-day stay, but it made the view resemble a beautiful ink wash painting. I also loved the flowers and succulents in the courtyard. 6. The guesthouse is very close to Qinglongshan Pier. Gaode navigation pointed us down a very unusual path – a small ditch and field ridge road – but it was incredibly close. I personally walked it and had no problems at all, as we used this path to get to both Qinglongshan and Qinglongshan Pier. Suggestions: 1. There's no power outlet on the room's desk for heating water; we had to use the one on the bedside table, which was inconvenient. I suggest adding a power strip. 2. The guesthouse's entrance isn't very prominent, so it lacks that initial eye-catching appeal when you arrive. Overall: I highly recommend this place to friends! Chatting with the husband and hearing stories about the guesthouse, and meeting the warm-hearted wife, made for a truly special experience."

The hotel's location next to Lover's Bridge is superb; it's perfectly situated for tranquility while still being close to everything. The room itself is spacious and elegant, but the real highlight is the floor-to-ceiling window that perfectly frames the ever-changing beauty of Puzhehei throughout the seasons. A cup of tea and a window view are all you need to while away half a day. As the saying goes, 'A cup, a pot of wine, a curtain, a railing, a window view'—this truly is the best gift ABEI offers to its guests."

"The hotel's location is fantastic, with beautiful scenery and convenient transportation. You can take a bus directly from the high-speed rail station to the scenic area, and the owner even picks you up upon arrival. Everything went smoothly... The service was excellent and very welcoming. I arrived quite early, and since my reserved room wasn't ready, the owner upgraded my room for free. The room itself had a superb location. You could open the floor-to-ceiling windows and enjoy views of Qinglong Mountain and the picturesque countryside."

"Shuiyue Mountain in Puzhehei: An Ideal Lakeside Inn. Choosing Shuiyue Mountain in Puzhehei completely exceeded my expectations. The 270° lake view is breathtakingly beautiful, right on the shore of Fairy Lake – a true scenic wonder! The rooms have huge floor-to-ceiling windows, offering panoramic views of green mountains, clear waters, and karst peaks – like living inside a landscape painting. The infinity pool seamlessly blends with the lake, creating a stunning ”sky mirror” effect with dreamlike reflections. Watching the sunset paint the mountains and water with vibrant colors makes every shot a masterpiece. The owner upgraded my room upon arrival. The room was comfortable, with meticulous attention to detail, a simple yet elegant decor, and impeccable cleanliness. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly until the sounds of birdsong filled the air. A coffee bar and bar are located in the lobby. The toiletries are from top brands, exuding quality. The soundproofing is excellent, making it exceptionally quiet at night. Every corner offers a great spot for photos – the lobby, the terrace, the arched windows – creating a truly immersive atmosphere. The service was attentive, making me feel right at home. The butler was incredibly welcoming, contacting us in advance, helping with our luggage, and escorting us to our room. They were always there for us, providing thoughtful service like a friend. The location is super convenient, situated in a small village within the Puzhehei Scenic Area, close to Qinglong Mountain and the filming location of ”Eternal Love.” It's easy to go sightseeing and take boat trips. Parking is plentiful right outside. Renting electric scooters, taking horse-drawn carriages, or exploring the entire village on foot are all fun options. If you're looking for lake views, beautiful photos, and tranquility in Puzhehei, choose Shuiyue Mountain! The views, environment, service, and comfort are all top-notch—highly recommended!"

"Would recommend Location Right near the lovers bridge, about 30 mins from qinglongshan and 45 from romantic square etc. near lots of restaurants and marts. I really liked the location because I was able to roam about and see a lot. Didi from the train station took about half an hour pretty standard given it is a scenic area away from the main town. The buses there are a bit random so be careful if you are travelling to specific times (or just get a didi) Bathroom Lovely. Spacious shower, sit down toilet, towels. It was missing toilet paper and body wash, but I had my own so that was ok and I'm sure if you asked, the owner would supply some Room Well presented. Bed stiff like most beds I have encountered in china, but at least you can spread out. All the amenities you could need TV, air con, hangers, kettle, combs, toothbrushes, and loads of plug sockets aha. WiFi didn't work great for me, but I spent most the day out so that was fine. there was a little bit of noise given the proximity to the town but i think you would experience that at any of the hotels in the surrounding area, so not a problem Hosting Friendly lady. Came right on time for check-in and helped carry my bags upstairs. Gave me plums and a map of the area and was very smiley whenever i saw her"

"This is a very unique wooden Yi-style courtyard house located within a scenic area. The rooms are exceptionally clean and spotless. The owner is kind, hospitable, and attentive. The Yi mother was constantly cleaning, keeping the stair railings, benches, and floors gleaming. It offers great value for money."

"First of all, the front desk is very professional, enthusiastic and meticulous. The recommended restaurant is also good, including every waiter is very enthusiastic. The room is clean, especially the shower water is very big. There are not many tourists in the off-season. Seeing that there are three of us, they took the initiative to help upgrade the room. "The hotel's hot water for showering is very hot and very comfortable. I stayed in too many hotels and B&Bs along the way, and the shower experience at night would be very bad. This one has a large amount of water in the shower room, and the whole shower process is very enjoyable. The hotel also has a laundry drying area, which is very user-friendly. Parents and children travel with their children's clothes. There are more accumulated here, wash and dry them in one go, and then prepare for the next stop. I also want to thank the management here. "The owner was very nice. Not only did he upgrade our room, but it was also rainy and cold during our visit. We were worried the kids might catch a cold after playing in the water. Although the owner doesn't cook, he lent us ginger late at night to make ginger syrup for the kids. There was welcome fruit every day. The service was excellent. The kids had a blast playing in the backyard pool, and the path was quiet. Perfect for a family outing. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Wenshan. 👍🏻"
