"Also, vieles ganz gut, aber für den Preis aber bisschen ein Witz. 40/Nacht für ein 3qm Zimmer mit Gmeinschaftsdusche außerhalb des Zentrums, dabei jedes Geräusch aus dem Nachbarzimmer hören (und dadurch halbe Nacht nicht schlafen können weil andere Gäste eine alkoholisierte Nacht hatten, finde ich dann leider mau. Aber sonst ist das Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit, das hat dann fast schon wieder gut gemacht."

"The location is not good, there are almost no shopping or dining places around! I arrived in the evening and bought a beer. Is there any tool in the room that can open the bottle cap? The hotel is large but there are too few supporting dining shops to choose from! Waiting for breakfast the next day, the variety was average but the service was pretty good😊"

"The descriptions of the hotel's services and offerings are inaccurate. According to the notices on the premises, there was a fire in December. As a result, the underground parking garage is unusable and the TV in the room doesn't receive any channels. When booking in April, you expect this kind of information to be shared during the booking process."

MMaria LuisaOverall the stay itself was fine, and the hotel served its purpose. As a Rewards member, I was okay with my choice. The location was of course excellent, being next door to the main train station. There were three supermarkets on the underpass leading through the station, plus a couple eateries. As all tracks had an escalator, elevator and stairs entrance on the underpass, it took 3-4 minutes to walk from the hotel to the stairs and into the underpass and onto each track. Service by both receptionists was overall pleasant and helpful. Althuogh the breakfast was okay, it was not a price-to-quality/quantity equality. Management of Intercity Hotels needs to understand just how many very nice, high-quality and affordable hotels are in the area, and bring down the price of the breakast. While I want the convenience of breakfast in the hotel, I had two cups of coffee, a little bit of scrambled eggs, one small sausage and two pieces of toast....and paid 22 euro (tax included) for the privilege. If you're seriously hungry and want to eat a lot and also sneakily take sandwiches on rolls with you and stock up on the pastries, then it's worth it. It would be nice if there was a second price option for those having a very small amount to eat. It's not difficult to control. Rooms facing the street were very quiet.

JJingThe location of the hotel is super, directly at the train station. Thanks to good sound isolation you can hear nothing from outside. The lobby is large and tastefully furnished, but the room is very small, functionally equipped. The room offered only paper cups, no tea bag, no glass, no water, no water cooker. According to the reception, you can get glass and hot water there, free. However, I don't know if it is free with tea bag.

PPeter ThurstonGreat location - our room overlooked the Rhine. The room was good, the bed comfortable, a good size shower and good water pressure. The colour design and decor were interesting. The boss (AKA the wife) said it reminded her of Austin Powers 😅. That said, it was modern, clean, comfortable, and we would definitely stay there again. The low overall rating was owing to the fact thst the air conditioning for the building was on the fritz. The first night was uncomfortably hot and sticky. It was fixed by our second night.

GGuest UserThe location is particularly good. Turn right and you will reach the Town Hall Square in 20 meters. Cross the Town Hall and you will reach the Elector's Palace. The breakfast shop downstairs is also very good. The room is just big enough for a family. There is a kitchen where you can cook your own food. In particular, there is a laundry room with drying machines, which is great. The room is very quiet. Although it is close to the square, the windows are very powerful and there is no sound at all when they are closed.

SSharon AmandaOnly stayed for one night, when we attended an event in Cologne. The hotel was so convenient to find. On the S-bahn, it was 1 stop away from the central train station, and about a 5 minute walk from S-bahn stop to hotel. Lovely modern. clean hotel, comfortable bed & pillows, great shower, fluffy towels. Actually better than some European hotels that charge a lot more. I would stay again and would also look for this brand in other cities.

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place was incredibly quiet, and the rooms were neat and tidy. One of my favorite features was the small kitchen, which made my stay even more convenient. The hotel left a thoughtful note recommending a nearby candy company called Haribo and I’m so glad they did! The candy there was absolutely amazing. I ended up buying a lot of sweets to share with my family and friends. A big thank you to the hotel for pointing that out! Would definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserVery basic hotel, looks quite old-fashioned but it has everything and very clean. Located just outside the old town, with many restaurants around. Worth the money. Just one thing: the lift is shaking a lot while running, that’s a bit scary 😅
