Tossa De Mar Hotels with Wifi

"We loved it! Excellent brand new hotel! We liked the design and location just 1 minute from the beach. Hotel provided sun umbrella and beach towels, which was very handy. We also enjoyed good breakfast. The reception was VERY friendly and helpful. The only thing, which could be improved is timing of the cleaning service. Ideally this should be done before lunch to have a good afternoon rest."

"Absolutely loved my stay there, the staff was so nice and welcoming. My room was small but I didn't need more space - the bed was double and very comfy and I had my own bathroom (pretty big in comparison) with lots of towels, fresh soap and tubes of showering gel (I travelled lightly so it was welcomed) so what else can one need. I loved the included breakfasts and the breakfast timeslot (from 8 to 12 - take notes all you other hotels out there!). There was a lot of variety for the price so IMO the food should satisfy most of the folks - I liked chorizo and cured ham, the wide selection of vegetables, the bread and croissants, and last but not least, the coffee was, pardon my expression, pretty damn good for a two star hotel. Tea was very ordinary in comparison but still okay. Having a kettle and a fridge in my room was super convenient. Wifi and tv quality was great. The walls aren't thick so when there's more guests it can get noisy - which didn't happen often to me but I can imagine how it can be during the high season - but that's a problem in most hotels all over the world. People are noisy animals, most of them. So if you are easily irritated etc consider taking & using earplugs, I guess. There were only two real downsides, let's say one and a half because only one was serious. My room was a bit too warm for my taste and when I realized that opening the window doesn't help, I tried using the air conditioning - which didn't work. I tried all the options, and the cooling mode made the room warmer instead of cooler. Which was a bummer. I didn't report that to the staff, since it wasn't a big issue for me at the moment - I spent most of my time outside the hotel anyway and came back at night when it was much cooler. But I can imagine it becoming a serious problem during the regular season in the summer or later in the spring. Air conditioning in a place like Tossa is essential, so yeah, better fix that ASAP, Turissa. Another thing, very minor this time, was that the cleaning lady who goes in to your room every day has a habit of straightening out the sheets on the bed every time. Yeah, like she did that every single day, lol. I mean I'm not that picky... Are you guys that picky (whoever reads this) ? Just leave it be and save yourself the work, lady, because you know it's gonna be a mess the next day, and the next, and the next - so it's like fighting windmills - unless your name is Donna Quixote, this is something uncalled for. But you know guys, if that's the only complaint one can make about the hotel, then you know Turissa is more than alright. Amiright or amiright guys;) Wish I could stay longer. PS: Oh and there's a pool for the guests, too. I didn't really have time to use (we were more excited dipping our toes in the sea anyway) it but I could watch it every day from the cantina when having my breakfast. Nice!"

"Service: The entire trip was terrible. The front desk was a bit impatient with my room request, grumbling that requests needed to be made in advance. They gave me the first and last rooms in the hallway. The first room was extremely noisy, and the last room required a long walk. This was blatant discrimination! Environment: The main building was very noisy during peak tourist season, with many young children. The elevator was very slow, and the up button was broken. The room facilities were very outdated, roughly comparable to a domestic budget hotel, and the bathroom was even worse. Cleanliness: The quilt was just a layer of paper, and the toilet was filthy. Facilities: The only positive feature was the swimming pool."

"I stayed for three nights, which cost a little over 6,000 yuan, including parking. The hotel has a great location, right next to the beach (public; Tossa doesn't have a private beach). The hotel doesn't provide beach towels, so you need to prepare them in advance. There's a supermarket an 8-minute walk away, and the castle an 18-minute walk. Parking is 21 euros per day (private parking). The hotel service is excellent. The rooms are small and simple, with balconies, clothes drying racks, refrigerators, and safes in the rooms, but no washer/dryers. The hotel has a pool, basketball court, tennis court, and restaurant. Breakfast is served in the lobby on the first floor. The Western-style breakfast is quite good, with coffee, fruit, bread, omelets, and a variety of sausages. Overall, it's a good stay. If you want to go out to the sea, sign up for a 1.5-hour round trip at Foundl Crystal on the beach for 22 euros per person. The video was taken during the sea trip."

"Hotel location is not far from the sea, in the old street of the town, you can go shopping, you can see the sea and the castle without a few steps, the room has a large balcony, enjoy the sea breeze, sea birds will come to harass, really great. The service awareness of white people is either really average. When I checked out, I pushed two trolley boxes. The door was not inductive. I needed to push the door to go out. The hotel staff were watching coldly and would not help you block the door. It made me very embarrassed to go out."
