"Great stay. Upgraded to king premium room being Diamond IHG. Breakfast option was limited. Take away coffee was a great option. Parking was a bit pricey £10 per night. Room was spacious. No fridge in the room. Service was not tip top. I asked for a refill of coffee sachets but it was not done promptly. Had to remind at the reception. Overall, still a great stay."

"The hotel is easy to find off high way, close to a bus terminal and a big supermarket which is convenient for grab some sandwiches & quick foods. A McDonald next to it is a plus for a quick eat. The room is big enough and there is even a extra bed. But the internet is slow. Some of the utensils seem old and not so clean (I can see smears on the glasses)."

"I had the pleasure of staying at Salisbury - The Riverside, WorldHotels Distinctive, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The hotel’s riverside location may not be super near market square but the hotel offers shuttle service in the evening, and it’s conveniently close to the city center and key attractions. The hotel also provided me a free upgrade due to availability. The superior King room was spacious and exceptionally clean with a river view and catherdral view at level 3. The comfortable bed with some decorations and I especially appreciated the attention to detail, from the thoughtful layout and a gift card with complimentary refreshments (one drink each at their pub) The staff deserves special mention for their warm hospitality and professionalism. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable, offering helpful local recommendations and accommodating all requests with a smile. The hotel is a perfect choice for anyone seeking a blend of comfort, convenience, and charm."

"Very convenient location but the restaurant next to the hotel is certainly not up to the standard expected. Fortunately the hotel is near to the Centre of Salisbury and you can easily find a good restaurant for dinner there"

"Good food with the chef made the omelette according to personal preference eg less spicy. Lots of food choices.Good service that they allowed me to put my luggage in the counter after checked out. Only thing is that my room is too corner that need to pass through lots of door and corridor to get to my room. Overall is nice and recommended"

"Felt super scary at first with the cracking floor, tilted walls, big mirror, and 512 years history, but later the place showed its charm - very lively at night with people chilling at the backyard, nice restaurant on site, being right opposite to the Anne? Gate which leads you to the Salisbury Cathedral. I prob would choose to stay here again next time I visit Salisbury! Btw the staff are warm hearted and helped us deal with our Apple Watch forgot in the room. Much appreciated!"

"I had a pleasant stay at The George Hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient, especially for visiting Stonehenge. The room was clean and comfortable, and the heating with adjustable temperature was a big plus during winter. Breakfast was served on time and was decent. Overall, a good value stay with a great location."

"Facilities: Some old hotels are hundreds of years old after all, but they are well maintained Hygienic: clean and tidy, but because it is a wooden structure, there is always a musty smell in the corridor, which cannot be removed. "Opposite salisbury railway station, it is very suitable as a small base for people who want to go to stonehenge or other places, because the shuttle bus to Stonehenge is also here. I booked a suite. The front desk was very kind. The small hotel also prepared chocolate beans, apples, breakfast cereals, yogurt, etc. for free, which was very heartwarming. But it is a pity that I stayed very busy for 2 days. I ran around and didn't have much time to relax. The environment of the room was really good. There were high stools in the kitchen. It was convenient to play with mobile phones and computers while eating. If I have time, I really want to live here for a week. It should be noted that the front desk closes at 5 o'clock. Check-in after this can only be done by yourself. The closest food shop to the small hotel is in the train station, which is expensive. It is recommended to keep walking along the main road in front of the railway station. There are many restaurants and small supermarkets on both sides of the road. Near a bunch of buses are commercial areas, suitable for shopping. I wanted to take pictures when I left, but I forgot."
