"Excellent location, services and sunset views from this fabulous hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They prepare a picnic bag if you do Tikal sunrise tour leaving at 2.45 am, they arrange a shuttle to the airport and were very kind providing medication for indigestion. The room is very spacious with a terrace and air conditioning is a must. Breakfast had multiple options on the terrace overlooking the lake. Will definitely recommend."

"First the good: great location close to the island and with a direct view to the lake, friendly staff, nice swimming pool, good breakfast. What can be improved: 1. Sound insulation - you can easily hear guests in the neighbouring rooms talking or snoring during the night, making it sometimes difficult to sleep properly; 2. Rooms are built in such a way that hardly any direct sun comes in, meaning you've got to turn on the lights practically the whole day of you want to see properly; 3. The floor surrounding the swimming pool is very slippery, not appropriate at all for the location; 4. Speaking of pool, it gets very little sun throughout the day so you'd better be tactical if you want to sunbathe; 5. Fixtures are quite dated and rooms could use some refurbishment"
