"The hotel service is very good, and the rooms are also very good. There are parking spaces, and you need to bypass another street and enter from the back door, which is a bit inconvenient. The room is close to the street, there are a lot of cars and motorcycles in the evening, and the singing and dancing in the bar next door all affect sleep."

"Superb traditional Italian hotel, located in the centre of Sorrento, less than one minute walk from Piazza Tasso. The hotel was very comfortable and rooms were spacious and nicely furnished. There is an outside swimming pool and bar, with always plenty of sunbeds available, so no need to be up at 6.30am to reserve your place. The inclusive buffet breakfast was particularly good. There was an extensive choice of scrambled egg, pancakes, cereals, smoked salmon, yoghurts etc, as well as a delicious selection of home made cakes and pastries. For me, the stand out point was definitely how friendly all the staff at the hotel were. Nothing was too much trouble and they genuinely wanted to please."

"The hotel is situated on top of a hill with very good vires of the Sorrento coast. The amenities provided very good and room was decent too. Staff was helpful. We need just cold medicines Panadol but were unavailable at the hotel. The hotel provides for shuttle bus service at specific times which is good as the place is about 25-30 mins away from the centre. We missed it by around 30-45 mins so had to take the coach buses to the hotel which is also quite reasonable. The hotel was proactive and arranged the Amalfi Positano trip by ferry, with pickup and drop at hotel, which was superb. Overall, we loved our-stay at Prestige."

"It is a 15-minute drive from the center of Sorrento. On the top of the mountain, it is recommended to take a free bus back and forth. After all, I don’t know where to get on and off the bus by SIAT. The local driver does not speak English and communication is difficult. But the foreign tourists who go to live for the first time are not sure how to take the bus. The message sent by the hotel before check-in is not prominent. Yuan said that he would refer to the ride of a certain hotel, God! Many people who come to play for the first time do not know a certain hotel. It is recommended to highlight how to take the free shuttle bus and identify it with pictures (Figure 5 is the bus stop about 50 meters on the right hand side of the Grand Hotel in Sorrento Center. Many hotels have cars and buses parked there), Fortunately, I have patiently responded to the hotel message on Trip.com , and I like 👍. It is indeed a sea view room with an open-air balcony overlooking the bay of Naples. Because of the delay in the car, I wanted to go to the sea view room to watch the sunset. As a result, it was dark. I could see the bright lights of the bay of Naples and encounter the fireworks show. Comforting the unpleasant mood of the car. The room is relatively simple, the facilities of the domestic express hotel, there is no kettle, you can find the hotel in the bar to pour free boiling water, you can have dinner at the hotel, the price is fair, similar to the Sorrento Center. The breakfast is still quite rich, the breakfast service staff is warm and want to say hello, because the morning of the departure, it rained and windy, we did not have breakfast in the open-air dining bar to see the sea view of thousands of miles. I don't know why, there are many elderly people going to this hotel for vacation. Late in the evening, they were still drinking and chatting in the bar, and two young men of my friend seemed a little different."

Maison Il Conservatorio

9.6/10

Charming Stay in the Heart of Sorrento Hotel Maison Il Conservatorio is perfectly located—just a 6-minute walk from the train station and car rental return, making arrival super convenient. Though there’s no on-site parking, they offer a helpful valet-style service for a fee and booking The hotel sits on the rooftop of a kindergarten, which is both unique and endearing. Surrounded by plenty of great eateries and a short walk to the port for day trips to Capri, Positano, or Amalfi, the location is ideal for exploring. The interior is creative, colourful, and full of personality—a truly refreshing design. While it lacks a ground-floor reception (which would be helpful for managing luggage), and there are no pool or major facilities, it still offers a pleasant and memorable experience. A bit pricey for what it is, but I’d definitely consider staying here again for the charm and location alone.

My family and I had a precious and memorable experience at Casa Astarita guesthouse in October. Although we walked for a while from the bus station to the house, we soon realized that we were already passing through the most central and lively area of Sorrento. Everything we wanted—restaurants, gift shops, gelato and drink bars, supermarkets, and more—was just a few steps from the guesthouse. The reception and hospitality at Casa Astarita were even more surprising and heartwarming, making us feel truly at home. We were deeply touched and grateful to be guests here. We especially enjoyed the morning breakfast time with other guests in the common dining area. The maids were kind and thoughtful, customizing our meals to our preferences. The room was spacious, and the furniture solid and traditionally functional—not designed for those expecting luxury decor, but perfectly comfortable. The balcony overlooked the main street below, where we could hear buskers and Italian music playing from the nearby restaurants, giving us an immersive sense of the city. On our checkout day, as we wanted to stay in the city until late, we were gladly offered luggage storage without hesitation. We sincerely thank the host for their considerate and customer-oriented service.

The place is only 10 minutes from central station of Sorrento, calm area but have very good restaurant 3minut walk and little shop for daily needs . Ou room has nice views, comfortable bed, And Tv plus little fridge if you need to put cold things , with the cute bathroom we have everything we needs. Is really like boutique hotel with three rooms and big enough dining room it make perfect getaway time , not crowded just enough to have nice little chats with other guests. What’s more our host Carmela is a very kind ,attentive and helpful person , she provides us with all information about the town and help us with what we need. Will definitely back again and recommend to anyone who wants to come to Sorrento . We have very enjoyable time and relaxing, specially beautiful sunsets views with glass of cold wine it’s perfect to end the hot summer day.

The chek-in process was smooth. Maria was super helpful. The Amalfi coast tour she recommended was the best thing I did in the whole trip of Italy. Please say thanks to Nino for me, our driver. He is the best. Everything is super clean and new. I admire how the cleaning was done. It's done like 5 star hotel. I've got to meet her the last day and she is super kind as well. The only downside was the noise from the wall next door(other guests). I could hear everything from their bathroom and when they flush the toilet it sounds like a bomb dropping into my ear. No kidding. Maybe in another room it might be better. I'm writing this because I really loved staying here. Everything is super close, convenient and neighbors are the nicest. I just hope maybe something can be done on that wall for a better soundproof because I really hope one day I wanna bring my parents to here and experience beautiful Sorrento. Overall, my stay was great and I wanna stay here again when I visit Sorrento. Everyone here is super friendly and I felt at home. Thank you.

Hotel itself is pretty standard as what you would expect from any big chain hotels, but service was definitely not up to par. We were told there would be valet service - there was none. The bus boys just told us to park ourselves. FINE. Then after I've checked in I asked if the luggage will be sent up to our room - reception then asked if I got a luggage ticket to which I told him we weren't given anything. The bus boys just stood around the entrance. He said they would be sent up shortly but given how they were just standing around we just took our luggage ourselves - mind you I am 6 months pregnant and obviously so but they did not offer any help. Once we got to our room the air conditioning was not working - we kept dialing it down but there was no air. Amazing to find out the AC wasn't working for the price we paid. The room is stuffy and even the hallway was cooler. Also during our stay there was conference - we were given a room on the same floor as conference participants and as expected they were loud and rowdy at night. We could hear them talking in the hallway at night when we called reception they said there was nothing they can do. So very helpful. Upon check out, the same bus boy stood around while watching a pregnant lady wheel 4 pieces of luggage out. I really just wonder what they do other than standing around all day hanging in the shade. Service is terrible here and I've had better service at small boutique or family run hotels than here. The only upside to this stay was that the rooms are spacious and clean and that's about it.

Over all experience ! 8/10! Location 10-15 to Sorrento town centre by bus ! Which is right outside. So don’t bother for taxi , or paid car parking ! Sea view hotel. 3 star but with lovely pool , sea view sitting area to relax for guests. Hand wash , hair dryer , small bathroom. Shower area very tight but manageable. Locker. Air con. Room size ( booked Standered) ok. 15M ! Manageable Room cleanliness good . Bed comfortable ! Cupboard. All this in 3 star is mind boggling ! Now Negative points . U can’t sleep for long. Max 8-9am. As check out is 10.30am max. BF 7/10. As other guest start closing doors going for BF so u hear them. It’s a two story hotel with stairs. No elevator. But has help to take your luggage to rooms. Try to take rooms on 1st floor. If u r over 55 plus. But keep in mind. It’s 3 star. With sea view and pool. Last suggestion. Don’t other taking rent a car. Take ferries. Driving on some road here is not very safe with Italian drivers. Plus traffic.

We arrived at 1030am and were informed that the check in was at 3pm. Asked twice because we thought it was later than usual. The lady with spectacles insisted it was 3pm. Checked online later, found out it was after 2:30pm. If the room wasn’t ready, she could have just said it so, instead of misleading us.  Second, this was the only hotel in entire Italy that didn’t even offer free water bottles. You would find it in the mini bar and it costs 3 euros.  The amenities consisted of paper cups and small bottles of body wash/ shampoo which weren’t replaced the next day, so we had to make do with what little soap was left. The bed was put horribly together. The bathroom had mold in so many corners, the walls were dirty, didn’t seem like it was thoroughly cleaned in years.  The good thing was that there was spare pillows, a balcony with table & chair. The breakfast was one of the better breakfast we had in Italy. The location was amazing, 1km to the port and there was a grocery shop nearby. The price was also reasonable  (250 euro per night) when we booked. However we considered extending our stay and checked two weeks before we were due to arrive and it had gone up more than 50%, at which point I don’t think it was worth it.

I just left there today and overall it was pretty good. They offer pick-up and drop-off service to the city center, and the 008 bus also goes there. Although it's a bit far from the city center, transportation is okay. However, there's practically no other service to speak of. Initially, I didn't know how to get there, and I couldn't get through on the phone (of course, this might be because I booked through Ctrip; Booking might have sent me a message, but anyway, I finally got the answer through their website's AI, although they don't support Chinese). The overall environment is quite nice; it's a campsite with its own scenery, and it has most of the necessary facilities. The only possible shortcomings are the lack of a communal kitchen, and the absence of hot water/kettles might be a minor issue for Chinese people. Everything else was great, and it was very cost-effective.

stayed here with a friend and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area, but it's just a short walk from the main street, which made it convenient yet peaceful. The room had a fantastic view, which we really enjoyed. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure — something we appreciated after long days of exploring. However, while the shower was advertised as having fancy jet options, none of them worked. This feature really shouldn't be promoted if it's not functional. The room was marketed as a deluxe bedroom, but in reality, it's a standard double room without any frills. We would’ve preferred if expectations were set more accurately — under-promising and over-delivering always makes for a better guest experience. Breakfast was basic and nothing to rave about, though we weren’t expecting much there, so no big disappointment. All in all, it’s a solid option for a short stay. But i won't be recommending for family or friends. Tbere are better option elsewhere. Just need to be booked in advance 😊
