"Enjoyed every moment in the hotel ,well recommended ,good value for off season. Food buffet spread was delicious n sumptuous.. Loved the onsen ,comfort wise good ,view was awesome.. thou it's was drizzling upon arrival but was able to go to ground n view the fireworks, surprised it was good lights up of 20 mins. Overall ,hotel staff was friendly n welcome."

"Highly recommend! We booked this hotel at the last minute because we were worried our flight might be canceled, fully expecting to just cut our losses if we didn't stay. But wow, what a pleasant surprise! The soundproofing in the room is excellent. Even with a lot of foreigners drinking and being noisy outside that night, we couldn't hear a thing from inside our room. The women's spa even has a separate shower and a door that can be closed for privacy. Superb! The toilet wasn't far from the room either, and it was genuinely clean. The next morning, we picked up some groceries from the nearby supermarket and then headed to Setsu. Perfect!"

"The room facilities are a bit old, but the space is decent. The main draw is the good value for money, especially with the half-board option (dinner and breakfast included), which is very convenient even if the variety was a bit repetitive. The best part was definitely the outdoor hot spring, and they also have a shuttle bus to Sapporo Station."

"We stayed at Rusutsu Resort Hotel & Convention and we were truly impressed. We came for skiing, and the location is perfect — just step out of the hotel and you’re right at the ski slopes. So convenient .⛷️❄️ The room was spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable. The snowy view from the window made the whole experience even more special. After a full day of skiing, relaxing in the onsen was absolutely amazing. It was the perfect way to unwind and recharge. ♨️✨ The staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful. "This is a diverse hotel where English is the primary language, followed by Japanese. The staff comes from various countries. A big thank you to Cellin from Malaysia for the Chinese service. You can directly access the ski slopes from the second floor after changing into your ski gear. You can even see Mount Yotei from your room. The only downside is that you have to walk a bit to get to the supermarket and restaurants."

"Hotel is just right in front of Lake Toya and opposite hotel has few eateries and 7-11. The buffet dinner is really superb. A lot of choices and every single food I taken is all too yummy 😋 Hotel even ready a surprise cake during I enjoy my dinner. Taken a nice photo, make it in frame with nice writing and send me the next morning. This really made my birthday extraordinary🥰🥰🥰 Hotel has fireworks at night. We really enjoy the top amenities here❤️"

"The rooms are definitely quite old, giving off a Showa-era vibe, so if you have high standards for cleanliness, this might not be for you. However, the location is absolutely fantastic! It's right by the station, and from the room, you can see the lake and Mount Yotei. I highly recommend booking their meals; it truly feels like traditional Japan!"

"The hotel seems a bit old, with traces of time on the corridors and elevators, but it's very clean and comfortable. The Japanese tatami room feels super spacious because there's no bed. The window directly overlooks Lake Toya, offering an unbeatable view. Who wouldn't love the feeling of opening the window to take in the entire lake and Mount Yotei? Oh, and the hotel's food is excellent too; I just loved the exquisite Japanese cuisine!"

"Booked this last minute, and it was the only small room left. Even in late March, near the end of the snow season, the hotel was fully booked. The 7 or 8 parking spots out front require a reservation and cost 4000 JPY per night. Although my room was small, it had a beautiful, unobstructed view of Mount Yotei. It was clean and tidy. The second photo in the middle is of a larger room type, which I hope to book in advance next time. The king crab ramen for lunch was 7600 JPY a bowl; the noodles weren't anything special, just a few extra crab legs."
