Maizuru Hotels with Wifi

"Good thing. Near the station. Smoking area is wide in the parking lot 々. There is a feeling of cleanliness. There are not only convenience stores such as supermarkets and drugstores near the hotel but also various convenience stores. I was curious. The building is a little old, and when a door opens somewhere, the door of my room shakes due to the flow of wind. I can hear the sound of the next room slightly, probably because the walls are thin. The air conditioner is a little old. I wish I had a humidifier."

"I stayed one night at Hotel Route Inn Kyoto Maizuru with a late check-in, and I’m really glad I booked it—even just for a quick transit to another city the next day. Once you step out of Nishi-Maizuru Station, you’ll see the hotel right away. The location was super convenient for me, especially since I arrived from Hokkaido via ferry at Maizuru Ferry Terminal. Everything felt new and well-maintained. The room was surprisingly spacious for a solo traveler, super clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I wish I’d stayed longer! I especially loved their onsen/public bath, which I used just before it closed at 2 AM. The breakfast was good too. If I remember correctly, there’s a nearby bar, restaurants, a Yoshinoya, and a Family Mart—so even though I arrived late, I still managed to have a proper meal."

"Check-in was smooth, the room was clean, and it was a comfortable place to stay. The twin room had bunk beds and a very cute design that made it very comfortable. I think it would be more comfortable if there was something like a bench in the room. There are no showers or toilets in the rooms, but the showers and toilets in the shared space were clean and separated for men and women, so there was no problem using them. The shared kitchen and living space were also spacious and easy to use, with tables and sofas. The kitchen was equipped with a refrigerator, dishes, and cooking utensils, so it would be fun to stay for a few days or have a good time with friends or family. Drinking water was also provided. There was also a coin laundry. There was a large paid parking lot right in front of the accommodation, which was very cheap and convenient at 500 yen for 24 hours. For a hostel or guesthouse, the facilities are new and the rooms are spacious, so I recommend it!"

"The staff were kind and the facilities were good. I stayed here with breakfast included. The breakfast was delicious. I recommend the soba noodles topped with grated yam and onsen*. And the navy curry was light and the meat was tender and delicious. Also, the music box in the lobby was lovely."

"Room was clean and comfortable, but a strong oily, deep-fried smell filled the corridor and my room (703) throughout my stay. The fumes came through the ceiling vent near the door, making the room stuffy and unpleasant. I barely slept and had to leave the window slightly open in 10°C weather. I reported it to reception—they said it was from a banquet event—but the smell lingered heavily, and even my clothes and hair smelled oily after checkout. This was a really disappointing experience, as it felt like a ventilation issue. There’s no reason the oily fumes should have kept seeping through all night as if they were deep frying in my ceiling for 24 hours nonstop."

"Spacious room with sea view, free easy parking, good breakfast but dinner included was so so especially the main course, so much dust inside room, the A/C was terrible with very strong bad smell, please improve and deep clean."
