"Let me start by saying I highly recommend this place. The rooms are spacious and affordable, and there's a balcony where you can sit and enjoy the scenery. Plus, there's a large bathtub perfect for soaking while looking out at the ocean, with a direct view of the bridge. The paid breakfast, costing ¥800, is quite delicious and worth trying. The owner is also incredibly kind; they'll even wave goodbye and bow when you check out. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance. The only downside is the hotel's location. While not far, the road leading up to it is genuinely narrow and steep. Even driving a light vehicle with a yellow license plate, I found the road quite small, so larger cars might not be able to make it up. But overall, it's excellent! 😎"

"I often visit Okinawa, but this time I planned to charter a fishing boat for squid fishing, so I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and 5 days, as it's close to the port. It had just been renovated, so it was a very clean hotel. There's a 7-Eleven on the first floor, which is very convenient, and there's a large public bath on the top floor, which I enjoyed every day! There's also a proper sauna (though I didn't use it), so I recommend it to sauna lovers 😊 Across the street, there's a drugstore and a supermarket, so if you forget anything while packing for your trip, you can get it relatively easily 😊 However, there aren't many good restaurants nearby (I didn't check), so I had the hotel's buffet breakfast and dinner once each. It was surprisingly (though it might sound rude to say so) very delicious, so next time I have the opportunity to stay, I'll definitely choose a plan that includes meals 😊 And all the staff were incredibly kind; they even accommodated my very selfish request regarding the delivery of the squid I caught, for which I'm truly grateful. Thank you very much! If you want to fully enjoy the northern part of Okinawa, I highly recommend this hotel."

"This was my first time in Kouri Island, but in a comfortable atmosphere, I was warmly welcomed. After playing in the beautiful blue ocean, we let you prepare a barbecue and have a good night’s sleep. This is a comfortable stay. We talked about delicious shops, Okinawa, and many exciting stories, and the night came in an instant. I look forward to my next visit! The starry sky seen from the roof is really beautiful, I will never forget it. The children are very satisfied with the cute Rin-kun C and Chibi-chan🐈. It was a very dark night in Okinawa. It’s a good memory to be able to experience many things that the hotel can’t experience. I look forward to seeing you again. Very grateful for your help!"

We chose to eat the hotel's dinner. There is a roast meat/shouxi roast or pork hot pot. The price is quite enterprising, but it is not unacceptable. The room offers three double beds, there are enough kitchenware to bring your own to cook, the bathroom is dry and wet, and there is a good bathtub to soak in."

"From the room to the amenities, the view, the service, and the breakfast, everything was incredibly satisfying! Upon arrival, our luggage was immediately carried to our room, even though there wasn't an elevator. The staff provided delicious cocktails and beautifully presented plates. After each person filled out their information, a dedicated staff member came to explain the hotel's amenities. There was a free drink bar and lounge chairs by the pool for stargazing! The room layout was exactly as pictured, and all food and drinks in the room were complimentary. We arrived late for dinner, so we bought something from a nearby convenience store. The staff heated up our food and provided plenty of tableware for us to enjoy. The service was truly excellent! After a satisfying meal and rest, we enjoyed a relaxing bath and a sound sleep. Waking up to the beautiful view completely made the morning pain go away! I felt so refreshed! Breakfast was also a delight, especially the view and service. Someone in the family had a birthday, and perhaps they noticed it when we were filling out the information, so they took the initiative to celebrate and gave us a fruit plate as cake during breakfast! It was a pleasant surprise and a delight. The building next door has a swimming pool, a small jacuzzi, and a small cold spring. "This was the best accommodation we stayed at during our Okinawa trip. My only regret is that our itinerary only allowed us to stay for one night. We loved everything from the traditional Okinawan house exterior and the tatami room layout typical of Japanese homes, to the impeccably clean, modern kitchen and bathroom. Getting to the beach behind the property was a bit challenging due to the overgrown path, but our spirits lifted the moment we saw the ocean. Plenty of towels were provided, and having a washing machine, dryer, and laundry detergent available was great for taking care of our swimsuits after swimming. With a microwave, kettle, and toaster provided, it was convenient to buy food from outside and heat it up. The air conditioning worked well, and the water pressure was strong, so we stayed comfortably without any issues during our stay. It rained overnight, but we woke up to the loud chirping of insects outside the house. My child said this was the most memorable accommodation. The only minor drawback during our stay was how tricky it was to open the door upon check-in. It's a manual key system, and the lock mechanism was quite small, making it hard to tell if it was properly unlocked. We struggled so much with it that we had to ask a foreign guest staying in the neighboring unit, who had already checked in, for help to get it open. They mentioned they had a hard time opening their door at first as well."

"The white cottages are lined up in a place that is easily visible from the road, so you can arrive without getting lost. Check-in was thorough, so it took a long time, and I got bitten by a lot of mosquitoes, but I was warmed by the human touch. The building I stayed in was in the style of an American house from the Showa era. There was a dining table, couch, and chairs, and the ceilings were high and comfortable. The electrical appliances seemed to be a mix of nostalgic and newer items. There were not many places to plug in electrical outlets. Is this because of the place's aging? The bathroom window wouldn't open, and the lock seemed broken, so as a sensitive city dweller, I was worried about security (it was fine, of course). It was a comfortable stay."

"The path leading up is narrow, sloping, and uneven; the signs are unclear, and the navigation is inaccurate, so you have to rely on your own judgment and navigate randomly using a map. It requires some driving skill to get there. There are almost no staff members, so you have to rely entirely on yourself. The system required us to register four passports for our check-in. Even though the rooms are all underground, someone has to carry their luggage down to the first floor to get the room key. When checking out, one person has to push the luggage through the garden while the other locks the door before leaving from the first floor. No oil or seasonings were provided, so we didn't try cooking. Aside from all of the above, this is definitely the best value for money on Kouri Island. The room is large, and the dryer dries clothes incredibly fast."

"For a small overnight stay, this is a pretty good hotel in a quiet spot by the sea. But only if you rent a car. Otherwise, it's not very convenient, as the nearest store and bus stop are half an hour away. And if you're returning to the hotel late at night without a taxi, your route will take you along a completely unlit road surrounded by jungle, and all the wildlife that lives there will rustle, scream, and make other noises. 😁 But at least you can see the stars very well at night."

We really loved the location and vibe of Furaiso. Hosts were very friendly and attentive and passionate about their guest house. The breakfast was great with really delicious bakes with huge portions. Hosts even provided take away bags as we could not finish them. As there was a cold snap with strong winds during our stay, our host also provided us with heat packs and a nice free gift of Okinawa brown sugar peanuts. The only small issue is, it would be great if toilets can be in-built into the rooms instead. However, it could be due to it being a family room type as I couldn't get reservation for other rooms which may come with in room toilets. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would consider again once I visit Okinawa again :)

Everything was amazing for Valentine’s Day! This is perfect for a couple going away from everything and everyone! From the second we parked our car and getting our bags taken upstairs to the last pictures taken by the host! Wagyu burger spot like 2 minutes away walking and heart rock like 5 min or less walking. It was so peaceful waking up to the sunrise and beautiful view!

The apartment is beautiful. However the checkout time is too early at 10:00 am compared to other hotels in Japan in general. The utensils are sufficient for cooking. One thing that’s most unsatisfying is there’s a lot of cockroaches and mosquitos during the night. Even there’s a net and it cannot prevent some of them coming in, some can even fly! Horrible. The price is too high for this standard to be honest.

The hotel is located on Kouri Island, with a very nice view of Kouri Bridge. The room is large and equipped with cooking utensils. It can accommodate many people. The cleaning time was very random and did not follow the schedule, and the hotel staff came into the room to clean without prior notice. I was a bit dissatisfied. Since I had notified the hotel through Trip.com before departure that I would arrive very late, but when I arrived, I found that the front desk was closed, and there was no prior notice from Trip.com or the hotel about the key collection arrangements, which made my group very panic. Fortunately, I found Trip.com customer service to find the password. Thank you to the customer service and compensation for helping me handle it that day.

Traveling as a group of four, the room felt incredibly spacious and offered a fantastic open view. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience. The only minor point was that both check-in and check-out were completely self-service, but thankfully we managed to get everything done successfully.

Once you've checked in, everything goes smoothly without having to deal with any staff. There's a washing machine and dryer, so even if you're staying for three nights, you only need to bring two clothes! It's also nice that you can leave your used towels and trash at the entrance in the morning! I enjoyed going to the beach every day.

The view from the room is wonderful. I was able to enjoy the extraordinary space. It was very good. However, the bath was covered with glass, but I was a little worried about the water red. I think the corners of the bath and the corners of the guest rooms were not well cleaned. I don't think it's a cheap villa, so I wanted you to notice the details. Also, since the restaurant was far away, I procured rice and drinks in advance and ate slowly in the room, but there were no chopsticks or plates, and there was no microwave. There was a wine glass, a plastic spoon and a paper cup, but there are no other tableware, so you need to prepare it in advance.

The hotel is located right on the beach, within easy walking distance of the sea. While the hotel is quite old, the rooms are large and clean. I mean, really clean. There's a designated parking area, which is great. Breakfast is up to standard and delicious.

Despite the remote location in a far corner of Kouri Island, this Villa is quite easily accessible, within walking distance to the landmark attraction Heart Rock on the Island. The openness of the Villa is unique, which may not be liked by those who require security and privacy. A dip in the jacuzzi on the terrace during the day is a highlight of our stay. We particularly enjoyed having all curtains opened so we could submerge ourselves in nature and looked at the vast blue sky of Okinawa in the sunny afternoon we luckily had during our stay in mid April.
