"We stayed here on the last day of our honeymoon! We weren't sure about the shuttle service, so we called after arriving on Yoron Island, and they came to pick us up at Yoron Airport just 15 minutes later! 🙇‍♀️ Our room was on the first floor, and the two beds were spacious and very comfortable. 😌 There were a lot of stains on the sofa, but that was acceptable. We booked a plan without meals, but we called the hotel later and they made a reservation for us at the Western-style restaurant for dinner! The restaurant was fully booked online, but they adjusted the time and made a reservation for us at 7 PM. Since our dates were approaching and reservations at restaurants near the hotel were also full, this was a huge help! The only option offered was a 5000 yen course, but the portion size was just right, and the food, made with local ingredients, was delicious! We brought our own champagne for 5000 yen. They provided glasses and a cooler, and we served ourselves! They offer luggage storage after check-out, and it seems there's a space on the premises where you can rent cars or electric bicycles! Renting a car costs 6500 yen for 3 hours, which is a bit more expensive than other places, but you can pick it up right from the hotel, and there seems to be a free shuttle bus for boat and flight times, so I thought it might be a good idea to rent one to coincide with those! "A great beach vacation location. It is a good stay for one or two nights. The local restaurants and cafes provide ample opportunities for one or two days. We got here using a taxi, as our ferry arrived too late on the first night. Taking the public bus back is no problem. But being at this location without a car results in lots of walking. It is a better place to stay if you are getting around by car."

"AMAZING HOTEL with a beautiful view. The rooms are very spacious and clean and has a balcony that looks over the ocean. The washrooms are huge with both bath tub, shower and traditional shower options. It’s located in a peaceful area and is the perfect place to relax. They are connected to Native Sea Dive shop and will pick you up for snorkeling and other activities. The staff are warm and helpful. I decided to get breakfast and dinner included. The food is very good and the dinner is a 6-7 course meal. Well worth the money. If you don’t have a car, which I didn’t make sure to get the meals included as the next place to walk to is 15 mins away. They also pick you up and drop you off at the airport. There is self serve laundry that is 300 yen and 100 yen for drying. I’m already planning my next trip back. Highly recommend. Amami island is stunning!"

"This was the best island accommodation I have ever experienced. The location is perfect for enjoying beautiful seaside views and snorkeling. Right in the heart of Kumasaki Beach, I could reach the coral reefs in just five minutes. I was even lucky enough to see a turtle while snorkeling. The water quality is amazing—incredibly clear and full of beautiful colors. The on-site restaurant, Forest, is also worth mentioning. I ended up having all my meals there because the food was consistently excellent. I tried almost everything on the menu and enjoyed every dish. The kitchen does a wonderful job of balancing local flavors with Western-style cuisine. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and smiling. The only small issue was that the curtains in my room were a bit thin, so the morning sun would wake me up early. Other than that, it was a flawless stay."

"The hotel staff are very friendly and they also provide airport pick-up and drop-off services! But if you come to Amami and don’t have a car, it’s really inconvenient to travel. But you can ask the hotel to help you book a sightseeing taxi. Everyone should try to avoid the rainy season in June. It rains every day, but we were lucky enough to have a sunny day. The hotel has a lawn to watch the starry sky, which is so beautiful!"

"As the name suggests, Showa-like inn. The best inn for me. But the toilet was a little troubled. I wipe it with my left hand when wiping my butt, but when I wipe it, the toilet seat tilts to the right side, if you fix it, １００ perfect score, because it's me (laughs) Also, Goemon bath I wonder if it was good, I've been in Fukushima since I entered, so I'm very satisfied.
