Shimabara Hotels with Wifi

"The hotel's location is not bad since it's only a 7 min walk from the train station. The room has all the basic items but it's kind of small for opening my suitcase on the floor. The one thing that really bothered me was the smell of mold in the room. I tried adjusting the temperature of the AC but that didn't help. I turned on what I believed to be an air purifier whenever I was in the room but that didn't help either. On the last night I switched the AC mode to Dry and it helped with the moldy smell, but since it got too cold, I had to change it back to normal AC mode. I didn't tell the staff since it was most likely due to the age of the hotel and probably nothing much could have been done."

"It is a family hotel with complete facilities. It has a large lawn facing Shimabara Port and a bicycle slide for children to play. There is a small children's paradise on the second floor of the new building. There is a hot spring in the main building and the new building. The staff are also very good. Dinner needs to be reserved in advance. We didn't have a reservation. The lady at the front desk helped us talk to the restaurant and let us in. The ordering system was overall very good. This hotel is not recommended for booking on Ctrip. The agents Ctrip hired, including Ctrip’s specialists, were very unprofessional. After booking, they told me that the reservation was successful for three adults. In fact, I booked two adults and one child (the child is 4 years old). There was a system problem after the reservation. It became 3 adults. Ctrip asked me and the hotel to confirm whether the children can stay. It was very funny. I called and asked for a refund and she said no. Why should the customer bear the risk? Why should the customer bear the risk? The price booked at that time was 1378 for two large and one small. Meals are included, but the price actually includes two meals for two adults in this room type. 4-7 years old only need to pay 1,500 yen (75 RMB) to check in, but Ctrip actually charges the adult rate."

"A charming inn near Shimabara Port and Shimabara Port Station. The landlady was incredibly kind, making for a wonderful stay that made the age of the facilities almost unnoticeable. The hot spring water is 100% natural and at a perfect temperature. The room, while slightly dated, was spacious and offered a great view in the morning. If I had to nitpick, the heating was a bit too strong, making the air slightly dry. Evening shopping is convenient, with FamilyMart, Seven-Eleven, and a local supermarket open until around 9 PM. For dinner, we enjoyed local fish and other dishes at an izakaya called Hifumi, about a 5-minute walk away. Not only were we treated courteously upon departure, but they also kindly provided a ride to the Unzen Volcano Disaster Memorial Museum. I think the location was perfectly suited to a trip that included visiting Kumamoto and Aso, taking a ferry to Shimabara, and then continuing on to Fukuoka via the Shimabara Railway and local lines."

"地點個人覺得算方便了，離車站約10多分鐘走路路程。大廳 mini bar 供應許多咖啡飲料還有點心，住客可以無限拿取享用，還有許多書及雜誌，可在休息區享用，甚至帶回房間也沒關係。冰淇淋也有，還有生啤酒 high ball，晚上還有一段時間有供應下酒菜，一樣可以拿回房間，當然每個人都是適量取用，沒有不足的情況，只是通常已吃完晚餐，溫泉旅館的晚餐基本上都很浮誇，而且一樣有一堆酒可以喝到飽，所以吃太飽就沒有再去拿 mini bar 了。館內設施超多玩不完，桌球、遊戲機、還有小朋友遊戲區，所以住客有很多親子。秉持溫泉旅館特色，他們鼓勵你可穿著浴衣跟拖鞋在館內活動，浴衣花色也好看。我最喜歡的部分是按摩椅有約6台，完全不用排隊，預設時間是15分鐘，但因為真的沒客滿過，我洗完溫泉後直接躺了30分鐘直到晚餐時間。唯一叫美中不足的是，房間海景view，可能因為我住2樓，而且被分配到別館，view沒有覺得很厲害，但海還是很美的。房間一樣又大又舒適，還有投影設備可以看 YouTube 跟 Netflix 。總體評價是高的，寫評論的同時已開始懷念想再回去入住🤣"
