The hotel is clean and comfortable—if you want, you can also book a private bath room for free, which is great.
On top of the usual amenities, you can also find different options for shampoo and conditioner (ex. one for damaged hair, etc..)"

"Transportation is very convenient, with the bus station and JR trains nearby. Since Tsu is relatively simple, getting around everywhere and even the port is easy. Since it's a small town, the station has relatively few amenities and shops, but there are many izakayas around the station. The cleanliness, perhaps due to the hotel's age, was a bit flawed. The large public bath isn't large, but it can be quite crowded on weekdays. Breakfast includes a wagyu hot pot, often called Matsusaka beef, but it doesn't taste significantly different from other restaurants like Matsuya. It's delicious, but don't mistake it for Matsusaka beef you eat outside. The other breakfast dishes and varieties are quite good and delicious, and we really enjoyed the grilled fish.
I give it a full score, especially since the staff who checked me in at around 3:00 PM on June 25th explained everything very attentively in Chinese. Thank you."

"I always use this hotel when I come to Tsu for work.
It's close to the station, has a garage, and even if it's full, there are cheap coin-operated parking lots nearby, making it very convenient.

"The pipe behind the refrigerator makes noises like knocking on the door from time to time (about 4-5 sounds).
In terms of equipment, the hair dryer is excellent, the bathroom and room are large, the water pressure is strong, and the heat is sufficient. I used the massage chair for 30 minutes and want to buy one back.

"You don't speak English well, but you're very kind. I didn't speak Japanese well, so I talked with a translator, but he kindly told me about the room and the shared bathroom. 👍 Even though it was 7 pm at night, it was dark from the moment I got off at the station. The operation time of nearby shops is very short There are not many restaurants around the dormitory except convenience stores. Instead, it's very close to the ferry dock to Nagoya Airport. Recommended for those who want to experience tatami rooms at an affordable price."

"The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right across the street from JR Tsu Station. The room was consistently clean and tidy, as expected from a Japanese business hotel, and well-equipped. The best part is the hotel's on-site hot spring bath, 'Shiki no Yu,' where you can relax every day. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. Overall, it offers excellent value for money."

The stay was very pleasant. I used Tsu as a hub to visit both Ise Shingu and Nachi given that there are rapid and limited express trains running from Tsu. The hotel is situated directly next to Tsu station with various restaurants situated near it. There is a shopping strip located about a 13 minute walk from Tsu station with Uniqlo and a large supermarket next to it.
As for the room, the beds were comfortable and spacious. Various amenities such as toothbrush and shavers were provided. There is also a free coffee machine located next to the check in desk.
I will highly recommend those who plan to visit Mie prefecture to stay here!

Guest UserDuring my recent stay at Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu, I had a mixed experience, resulting in an overall rating of 3 out of 5. While the hotel was generally acceptable, there were some notable drawbacks.
One major issue I encountered was the cleanliness of the rooms. I was disappointed to find a significant number of insects on the walls, which was quite unpleasant and off-putting. As a result, I had to deduct points and give it a rating of 3 out of 5 for cleanliness.
Additionally, compared to my previous stay at another Hotel R9 location, the price at Yard Tsu was slightly higher. However, it was still within an acceptable range considering the overall quality of the hotel.
Despite the drawbacks, I must mention that the hotel's staff were courteous and attentive, providing decent service throughout my stay.
In conclusion, while Hotel R9 at Yard Tsu has some room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, its reasonable price and satisfactory service make it an acceptable choice for a short stay. However, I would recommend management to address the cleanliness issue to ensure a more pleasant experience for guests.

I stayed here once last year, but I forgot the details. Please note that there are no razors, hairbrushes, lotions or creams as amenities. I had completely forgotten about it.
Although there is a rice shortage these days, white rice and rice balls made with newly harvested rice were served for the free breakfast. There were the standard items such as Ise udon, curry, miso soup, grilled fish, sausages, etc. The main drink was apple cider vinegar, coffee from a machine, black tea, and roasted green tea. If you don't know that you can make it with the plum kombu tea or green tea powder in the amenities and boil it with hot water, you will end up drinking apple cider vinegar.
When it's crowded, you can just eat it in your room and leave it on the return desk in the hallway.
It's convenient because it's close to the station.

It's a pity that I couldn't get dinner because I didn't make a reservation. Convenience stores and restaurants are far away, so you will need to partner somewhere or prepare for guidance.
The hot water of the hanging water was the best.
I entered five times.
The cleaning of the bathroom was certainly well done and impressed.
I would like to go again.
