"The Orchid Hotel was everything and more as described on their website and the reviews. I stayed in the superior room with 1 king bed which was very comfortable. The air conditioner is adjustable to your preference. The hotel was very clean, spacious, very friendly staff (24hr lobby staff)and in the perfect location. They provided robes, slippers, 2 bottled waters, clean towels daily. The bathroom has a bidet which is separate from the shower area. They also have a pot to heat water instantly and they provide coffee and camomile tea bags. There was a large desk area in this room and a large television. The location is right across the street from a large shopping mall that also has restaurants and walking distance to Musil (restaurants, cinema, shopping). They do have a pool and has pizza and beer every evening at rooftop bar. All your needs are very close to this hotel. The bus terminal is ~6 minutes walking distance and train is ~ 10 minute taxi ride. Approximately 2 miles is the outdoor market (food/shopping). Considerations: make sure to bring international chargers, translate app and if get Wow pass can top up with cash at 7/11 or CU. I did make several attempts to top up on Wow pass app with credit card and was having difficulty. The bus terminal and taxi’s accept international visa credit card. The bus terminal does not accept T card. I highly recommend this hotel. Thanks to the staff and cleanliness."

"It is very convenient as located very near to bus terminal and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The building is old but is well maintained and clean. The receptionist is polite. I will definitely come back again in the future."

"The room was surprisingly huge, the shower was nice and the proximity to restaurants, 24/7 convenient store and obviously the slope is top notch. The parking is also okay, there's plenty of spaces. Lift pass and rental combo is tax free for foreigners if you book on site. However there is a huge elevator problem, if you're not lucky on which floor you're on, or not doing the ”go up to go down” strat, then you'll never be able to get into the elevator. It was especially difficult that day because one of the elevators was broken. Body towels and toothbrush / toothpaste isn't included, with 1 body towel being around 200yen to borrow. All the staff were nice and spoke enough english. FYI 99% of people there are Koreans. I was there from 10am and stayed overnight and I've only heard / saw 2 Hong Kong people and NO MORE LOL no foreigners at all. Another thing is that most of the mountain was closed, only the beginner green slope and the bird lift was open, so 1 green and 2 blue squares. Not sure why but I'm a beginner so I was mostly on bird lift anyway. Overall my friend and I enjoyed our stay."

"Overall, there was no inconvenience in using it. However, since cooking is not allowed, it was harder than expected to have to go down to the first floor to get food delivered. Of course, I understand that delivery people cannot use the elevator for security reasons, but there were inconveniences such as drinking and being drunk and having to wear comfortable clothes and then going down again wearing clothes."

"I booked this place in a hurry, but I think it was decent for the price. It seems good for young children. Since the kids are all grown up, there wasn't much for them to enjoy at the facilities. The biggest downside was that there are no shops nearby, so you have to use the shops at the resort. It was on the expensive side compared to other places. If you plan to stay here, do your grocery shopping before you arrive."

"It turns out that this hotel caters to folk who are looking for privacy and anonymity and maybe even an hourly rate. That said, it worked fine for our family of 4, though the room was a bit cramped. For the price, we can't complain, and the free rooftop ramyeon 'buffet' (open 24 hours a day!) was a hit with the youngsters. The beds were very comfortable, though we wished the curtains held out more light than they did. Is this a great hotel? No, but for the price it's good enough that we would come back here without thinking twice."

"The room was spacious and clean, but the hotel seemed old. Bottom of the bathroom sink was open, and it was dirty things were visible, which was very upsetting. The towels were also yellowed and had been used for a long time, so they were still yellow even after washing."

My friend came on a trip and stayed here, and the accommodation was clean, spacious, and I could just watch Netflix and it was located in the center of Wonju, so there were many restaurants. It was satisfying in many ways. The staff was also friendly. The morning breakfast was also plentiful~ I intend to visit again~"

"This is a self-service hotel, which is probably fine for 95% of guests 95% of the time. The self check-in kiosk works smoothly. We had a short stay, so we couldn't check out the breakfast, but it seems simple but good for people on the go. The biggest problem here was a lack of parking. We had to park on the street, but fortunately we found a place nearby. Though not a fancy hotel, it is great for those looking for a clean, comfortable night of rest."

"I stayed in a hurry and it was so good. There was a lot of food because the commercial area was good around, and the bed mattress was especially good. The satisfaction was the best enough to sleep with our couple. However, the unfortunate thing was that the massage chair was not suitable for the body type. I am willing to return next time."
