"I've stayed in about 100 hostels, and this one is by far the best. Not only do the rooms have private bathrooms and showers, but there are also plenty of facilities in the lobby, so it never feels crowded. It's clean and spacious, which is a given, and the kitchen is fully equipped and spotless. The location is great too, within walking distance of the lively Sliema main street. And honestly, this is the first hostel I've ever seen with a swimming pool! If you're coming to Malta, you absolutely have to stay here."

"The location is superb, right in the city center. However, the street music can be quite loud in the evenings.
Breakfasts are very basic, but everything is fresh and generally acceptable. Though, staying for two weeks, it does get repetitive. The only hot option is an omelet.

"Convenient location. A few mins walk after getting off from bus. There are two buildings for the hotel , I was guided to pass through a restaurant to access another building for check-in and stay.Enough restaurants, bar and cafes nearby , easy to find food.

Breakfast is provided. You can enjoy the sea view while having the breakfast . However, the salad seems not fresh. The cucumber is sour.

"The staff are absolutely lovely (thank you for your warm hospitality).The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the ferry and buses .
Unfortunately the rooms are not as impressive in reality ( suspect photoshopped).
They are extremely tired and could do with a bit of upgrading. The bedding is threadbare and should be replaced. The towels are old and scratchy - desperately need replacing . The bathroom has no extraction fan, so everything remains damp and there is a mouldy smell in the air. The room has no soundproofing, so you hear everything! Bring earplugs as a lot of guests have absolutely no regard for others.
I feel that in this day and age, where there is so much competition - this hotel really needs to modernise a bit."

"The room was very clean and well arranged. The furnishings seemed new and well maintained. The room was a bit small for the price, but it included a tiny kitchen with a sink, a microwave oven and a coffee machine. There were only 2 coffee pods provided. The bed was very good, neither too soft nor too hard, and the bed linen was truly luxurious. The hotel does not have a 24hr reception desk but one code opens both the main door and the room door. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I would suggest this hotel."

"My only complaints are that there was only 1 electricity outlet in the entire room so we had to take turns charging our phones and there was also no sound proofing so as a result we would go to sleep very late and wake up very early from the noises. Also the room service people would come in our room without asking or after 1 knock and one time we happened to be inside when they opened the door with their own key. Cleanliness was good we didn't have any problem with the towels or the bed sheets and the bathroom was also kept clean. The staff were helpful and we were also able to leave our suitcases there as our flight was much later from the 11.00 check out time and we didn't want to carry them around for all those hours. Would recommend for a short stay but be prepared to have a power strip and an adapter for your chargers and don't expect quiet time there ๐"

"We went there on July 27- Aug1. Everything was great. Great location (still have a small distance to the dock where you take to Comino), great view, friendly customer service. Only one problem is that the indoor pool, spa room, nearly all facilities indoor was in maintenance which didnโt been mentioned when we are booking (either on trip or official website). This made a bit disappointing but overall still good.
Also one disappointing point is that the outdoor pool said it opened at 7am/8am (forget the actual timing) however it wasnโt the actual open time, it is the readying time. We went there that morning and no water was in the water pool. After 30mins a staff come and start to refill it, and waited for more than a hour to finish. This was a bit disappointing."

GGuest UserHotel location is good, economical and practical hotel, the hotel is not far from the ramp up there is a supermarket, down is the bus station, go to Valletta to cross the road by bus 13.13A, go to Gozo and comino Island is but the bus stop on the road is 222, but the distance is a bit far, it takes 1 hour, After getting off at the end, you can go to gozo Island for a cruise. You can buy a ferry ticket for the return trip. You can also go to the small pavilion on the right side of the road. You can go to comino and then go to Gozo's speedboat. You can arrange your own time and finally Gozo returns by yourself. Breakfast is average, there are not many dishes. Service staff is very friendly and young

EEm_mAvoid room 125 at all cost if youโre a light sleeper. The balcony faces directly onto an active construction site, and works started early each morning, on one day the machinery was already going at 5:45 AM. On top of that, the refreshment station is right outside the room, and the ice maker and water heater cycle through in the middle of the night, which woke me repeatedly. The one genuine highlight was the buffet breakfast with plenty of variety and its convenient location. Overall a disappointing stay due to the noise.

The balance between the location as a sightseeing base, the comfort of the room, the quality of the breakfast, and the price was excellent, and I would especially recommend it to those who are value for money.
First of all, the room was larger than I expected, with plenty of room even when I opened my suitcase. The room was clean, and the bed, floor, and bathroom seemed well-maintained. Even when returning tired from a long day of sightseeing, it was a space where I could relax with peace of mind. Another plus was that there was no noise and I was able to get a good night's sleep.
I booked a plan that included breakfast, and it was even better than I expected. There was a wide variety of food, including bread, cereal, and fruit, as well as hot dishes. Everything was delicious, and I think you wouldn't get bored even if you stayed for several nights. Having a hearty breakfast meant I didn't run out of energy even when I went sightseeing straight away.
The location is also very convenient. The area around the hotel has a calm and comfortable atmosphere, and you can see the sea just a short walk away. Best of all, it's easily accessible, with Valletta just a five-minute ferry ride away. Being able to easily travel to Valletta, home to many historic streets and tourist attractions, was a major benefit. The boat ride itself was scenic, making the travel time a little enjoyable.
I think this hotel is suitable not only for those visiting Malta primarily for sightseeing, but also for those who want to relax. The price is reasonable considering the facilities and service, so I felt it was very good value for money overall.
If you're not sure where to stay in Malta, this is one hotel you can choose with confidence.
The only thing that bothered me was that I couldn't see the ocean from the window of my room.

BBudgetTravelerFirst off, the location is fantastic. Itโs super close to the pier, which made exploring incredibly easy. Just a heads-up: thereโs a bit of a hill to tackle to get up to the suite, but hey, let's call it built-in cardio to burn off the holiday food!
Inside, the room facilities were amazing. The bed was comfy, the AC was a lifesaver, and they actually give you a sufficient number of hangers. It also comes with a sink, microwave, and plenty of cookware. Since eating out in Malta can get pretty pricey, being able to hit up the nearby grocery stores and whip up some simple meals in the room was an absolute game-changer for the budget. You can also enjoy sunbathing and swimming at the top of the suite.
I never actually saw any management or front-desk staff during my entire stay. It's a bit of a digital treasure huntโyou have to transfer a โฌ250 deposit in advance just to unlock the secret instructions on how to get inside. That said, I did see the cleaners, and they were absolutely lovely and very nice!
In general, the cleanliness of the place was nice. However, the local wildlife seemed to think we were throwing a party. We were at first welcomed by a cockroach, and the other day, a full-blown scorpion decided to check in. I didn't realize my booking came with a safari package! They didn't pay their share of the rent, but they certainly kept things exciting.
Despite the uninvited multi-legged guests and the ghost-town staff situation, the comfort of the room, the lovely cleaners, and the prime location made it a really great stay. Just bring a sturdy shoe... both for the hill and for the bugs!

GGuest UserLovely stay in lovely hotel. I had a 6th floor room with a balcony and nice view over the rooftops of Sliema. The room was clean with everything I needed. Excellent Wifi.
It's in a good loctaion with only a short walk to the bus stops (including the airport bus) and the ferry to Valetta.
My only complaint is that the matress could have been more comfortable but I still slept alright so it wasn't that bad.
I'd definitley go back and recommend the hotel to others.

If you book a sea view room, remember to request a high floor, because the lower floors don't have a view of the sea at all. ๏ฟผIt's quite suitable for long-term stay. There is a park in front and many people walk there. It's very safe.

AAnonymous UserFriendly and helpful receptionists welcomed us and accommodated us for early check-in. We were not expecting much of the breakfast but, we enjoyed the coffee, various tea selections, fresh fruits, salad, cheese etcโฆ It was enough for us. We only stayed one night and the charge was reasonable in the peak season for a last minute booking.
