"The reception was good. It was a smooth transaction when I arrived. The room was hot when I got into it. I found that the staff wasn’t trained properly & seems like I have to ask for every thing. I was there for 4 days & they never replenished my water bottle. The bed was a bit hard but comfortable enough. The breakfast was ok. I was very disappointed when I had to ask numerous times for my change when I booked a boat through them to go to hundred islands. I paid 500 pesos for convenience fee for them to organise the trip & evrytime I asked for my change back they keep telling me that they have to ask the boatman first, then the guard, then the department of tourism and various excuses. I didn’t get a direct answer until the next day. I trusted them to do the transaction smoothly that’s the reason I paid for the convenience fee. I would’ve done the job myself & preferred to give the boatman the 500 pesos as he really looked after me for the whole day. The hotel is Brand new but needs some more decor in the room & have an air conditioning working in the lift & the foyer. The restaurant staff wasn’t as friendly but accomodating. They seems all so uptight & doesn’t practice common sense. The most disappointing part of my stay is the designated smoking area. It was in the motorcycle parking lot & way out, outside of the hotel. I didn’t feel safe going out for a smoke as it’s also a bit dark & there’s rubbish everywhere. The ashtray was full of other rubbish & the garbage bin was full for all the time I was there. I’m writing this all as a productive criticism for an improvement for my next stay & for other guests that will be staying in the future. Otherwise the hotel is nice, great pool overlooking the hundred islands the gym was ok . The hotel transfer was also nice but I have to asked first. I hope it’ll be better next time I stay. "They are only open until 10pm not like what there page says ”always open” or until 12mn, you wont be able to enter if you arrive late.. The place is quite far from the plaza, but the room is clean. Staff is also approachable. I might still consider the place though on my next visit.."

"If you ate looking for a budget hotel, I highly recommend Novo hotel. The room is big and the bed size is big, linens are clean. Staff are nice and accomodationg except that we had a little problem with the supervisor who I think is not yet trained to handle minor adjustment. The location is good since everything is accessible, although the front is not nice and parking is very limited. But overall, we had a nice stay."

"Absolutely wonderful. Jenny and Adrian took great care of us. 100 islands is great too (bring pesos!) The resort pool is huge. Food was masarap and service was even better. Maybe my favorite resort ever. Road in is bumpy for a km or so but we'll worth the destination."

"This hotel is very close to the Hundred Islands National Park and provides parking spaces. If you stay here for one night, it only takes 3 minutes to reach the entrance of the Hundred Islands National Park the next morning."

"Location is good, but during the stay, power went off in the evening and there was no back up generator available and it was a very, very hot weather, we have to stay out in the front lobby which is open and theres lots of mosquitos. When power came back after at least 2 hours and we were ready to sleep, lots of running rats/mouse heard from the attick."
