Gamarth Hotels with Wifi

"I made two separate bookings. The first was for a 2-night stay for myself from July 15-17, 2026, which went very smoothly and I was completely satisfied with it. The second booking was for the following week, a 1-night stay for my father and family from July 22-23, 2026, and that experience was absolutely terrible. I had initially made a mistake with the reservation date, and the manager very kindly offered to modify the booking, including changing the dates and the number of rooms, for an additional fee (which I understood and accepted). However, on my father's arrival day, a week later, the receptionist couldn't find any record of the modifications; only the original booking was in their system. We had to involve the manager again to try and fix the situation, and after a long wait at reception (with young children present), the issue was finally resolved. But then another problem arose: the hotel was fully booked, and there was no availability for a second room. After more than 1.5 hours of trying, the receptionist eventually managed to find two rooms for them. It turned out that this second room hadn't been cleaned at all; it was dirty, smelled musty, the air conditioning didn't work, and to make matters worse, there were cockroaches. My father and the family had a very unpleasant night. They ended up moving the mattresses into the other room just to be able to sleep, as it was impossible to stay in such conditions. Honestly, my first solo reservation was perfect, which is why I made the second booking for my father and family. I never would have imagined such an experience at a 5-star hotel. I assume the hotel was full and they assigned a room that had been unoccupied for a long time and was in a disastrous state. However, the error was entirely on their part; the modification was supposedly made a week prior, and I paid a premium price for this reservation. There's no justification for them being given such a room. We shouldn't have to pay for their mistakes."

"Beautiful resort with just the most attentive and amazing staff :) everyone we met was so helpful and friendly, going the extra mile to help us or suggest things to see and do. I love their sustainability initiative and in-house herb garden! The direct access to a private beach is perfect as well, we will be back with the rest of our family."

"The service was outstanding. Four Seasons class, plus. Facilities also excellent. Big outdoor pool, and nice sized indoor pool, gym, and spa. Three places to eat at the hotel. Plus, private tours of Tunis offered at a reasonable price. Highly recommend."

"The first time I stayed in a hotel, I locked myself outside the balcony of my room and couldn't get back into the room. I don't know how the hotel designed it, but the balcony door would automatically lock when closed from the outside. Is this to prevent theft?"

"We had a very interesting experience staying at this hotel. We came here for the warm pool, sauna, and thalasso. Unfortunately, nothing worked. And that was incredibly disappointing. We wrote a letter in advance to clarify whether they were working or not. But we did not receive an answer. This is due to heavy rain, a natural disaster. Of course, if we knew that it was not working, we would have cancelled the reservation. Because now you can’t swim in the sea, and what’s the point of spending money. When we told all this at the reception and spoke with the manager, we were very pleased that they changed our room to a higher level than the one we booked. It was really nice. They gave us a room with a view of the sea and the pool. So we are very grateful. The hotel itself is beautiful. But old. It felt like we arrived in the era of Hercule Poirot. If the sauna and pool had been working, they would have given us all five stars. Breakfast, unfortunately, wasn't our thing. Lots of sweets, but no meat or fish. Just flour products, salad, and eggs. It was a bit disappointing. It's a 5-star hotel. And the Thalasso Spa—the girls who work there are very nice. But we were expecting a real Thalasso experience—seaweed. There was no seawater pool either—and the Jacuzzi had seawater on the first day, but it was different on the second day—unclearly. So, I wouldn't recommend going just for the Thalasso experience."
