Iznik Hotels with Wifi

"As it happens to be the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea (held in 325 AD), I booked one night for a quick trip to Iznik. Seyir Otel offered a lovely clean room with all the necessary amenities (in-room bathroom, towels, slippers, hand wash, shampoo, body wash, water, coffee, tea kettle, mini fridge, lamp desk lamp, TV etc.) The weather was quite cool so I didn't turn on the air conditioner. There is a cafeteria on the 1st floor of the facility and a lovely garden/outdoor sitting area. The location is superb, right in front of Lake Iznik (I could see the lake from the window), and about a 10 minute-walk to the town center (the Small Hagia Sophia). Before departing, the ladies managing the space were very kind in helping me book transportation. It's a lovely neighborhood with trees, flowers, olive and pomegranate trees, shops, eateries. Besides the rich historic legacy, there are also quite a few outdoor activities to enjoy (kayaking, fishing, walking around the lake, etc.). The sunset by the lake is breath-takingly beautiful. The people of Iznik are very friendly. I would definitely like to return in the future!"

"The hotel boasts a beautiful restaurant surrounded by olive trees. The outdoor pool offers a fantastic view of Lake İznik. The rooms are clean and modernly furnished. Direct access from the room to the pool is great, even for romantic moments together. It's tough to say, but the receptionist is irresponsible and a replacement should be considered. Unprofessional and poorly organized."

"The new hotel, 4 stars, is located on the shore of the lake in the city of Iznik. The rooms are clean, drinking water is provided daily. The room is convenient, quiet. A little surprised breakfast: I stayed for two nights. The first time they served a small plate with cheese, tomatoes, two pieces of sausage and an egg. This breakfast corresponds to 2 stars, but not four. Hot no offer. On the second day, the Swedish table was covered, everything was quite delicious, including hot dishes."

"We lived in a Deluxe room (not standard). From the good: - location by the lake, these are the sunsets there :) - comfortable bed, - air conditioner, - normal furniture and condition of the room as a whole. From the bad: - the room is smoky (as smoking is allowed in the hotel), - dead plumbing (it’s not even old and is generally good, they just don’t take care of it), - the walls, both indoors and outdoors, seem to be made of paper, with the windows closed you can hear everything that happens on the street, the same goes for your neighbors. Wifi works. The Turkish breakfast is not very good, but you can eat something like eggs, bread and cheese. No coffee, only standard tea Summary - for one night and at a price of 35-40 euros somewhere, it’s not worth more."
