"The hotel is very close to the IAH, and plus ,it has a 24hour shuttle service for free, to and from tye airport. It looks like they have amenities, like pool and gym, meeting rooms, in which I've seen.. it has also restaurant,that serves delicious food, with reasonable price for me. The lobby looks clean , pleasant and relaxing with plenty of seating area to standby for ✔️time waiting... But the worst thing, is our room... I didn't mind the size, but the filthiness ( dirty) of it... you can feel it in the room, the stink smell, the molds smell, no aircon, or fan to atleast circulate the air inside...and plus, the yucky sight outside , in which thd iron rail window guard ( looks like a closed in balcony) is full of bird dunk (bird poop)... plus, looks creepy too, for it seems like, you are looking outside like a back alley, in a thick bushes... I dont know, just dont feel safe and clean there.."

"Marquis Marriott is a well-known hotel brand in China. For example, how good is the one in Shanghai! But unfortunately, even a high-end brand such as Marquis Marriott is generally not feasible in the United States. It's not that it's bad, it's just that it's just qualified, similar to the domestic Atour. The lobby is quite atmospheric, a bit like a domestic Sheraton. I thought, ”Great! I finally found a hotel brand in the United States that is comparable to a domestic hotel brand.” Unfortunately, the room was small and not bright. Marquis Marriott in China is so comfortable that they don't want to leave the room. I feel that leaving a second is a waste of such a good environment, but this Marquis Marriott's room, I don't have the feeling of wanting to stay in the room. , horizontally benchmarking domestic Atour. In terms of service, there is no turndown, and everything is very formulaic when checking in. It is not impolite, but it is very cold. It feels like a cashier in a supermarket. These are not seen in the domestic Marquis Marriott, or at least not. allowed to appear. In general, the Marquis Marriott is clean and tidy, the staff is polite, and it is no problem to sleep, but that's all, it is not a hotel worth exploring."

"Well, the environment is okay. The hardware is generally old. The elevators are still out of power. The water in the swimming pool is not very clean. There are many insects floating on the water. The water is a bit turbid. I don’t know why. It may be because there is too much bleaching powder. reason. The host couple of the hostel are warm and friendly The hotel is very new, just opened in August 2023, clean, spacious and quiet Check-in instructions are very clear The bed is very comfortable Breakfast includes pastries, bread, cereal, and instant noodles The public area on the second floor is also very nice HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! The hostel hosts Harold and Cathy couple is caring, kind, hospitable The place is new, clean, spacious, quiet Entry instructions are clear recommended, easy to check in and out The bed is cozy Cookies, bread, cereal, coffee, tea, instant noodles in the morning Nice social community space on the second floor

Great Service, Lovely Breakfast — but Room Noise and In-Room Dining Could Improve I recently stayed at the Thompson Houston and overall had a great experience, especially thanks to the excellent service. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. Their attention to detail really made me feel welcomed, and I was touched when they surprised me with a graduation cake — a thoughtful gesture I truly appreciated. The hotel breakfast was a highlight. The food was fresh and well-prepared, and once again, the service stood out. Dining in the morning felt like a treat thanks to the welcoming atmosphere. That said, there were a few downsides that affected my stay. The room was quite noisy, even late into the night. It was hard to relax or fall asleep with the amount of outside noise coming through. Also, I ordered in-room dining on two occasions. On the first day, everything was great. However, the next day the fries were noticeably soggier, the salad was just a bowl of greens with six tiny avocado cubes, and — most concerning — the aioli on the side looked like it had already been used. Overall, Thompson Houston left a positive impression on me, mostly due to its exceptional staff and quality breakfast. I hope they can improve the soundproofing and ensure consistency in their in-room dining service.

The hotel service is very good, the environment and location are good, the bedding is comfortable, and the swimming pool is clean. However, the toilet in the room is very large and takes up a lot of space in the room, making the room a bit small.

This place smelled like mold, was humid, was dirty, and badly needs a complete remodel. It might have been nice in the early 1990s, but it is not now. The staff at the desk was nice, but everyone else, not so much. If I had to stay here again, I would find another place. It was not scary - it just was not nice.

Very close to Her***n park, there are 010, 002 metro bus nearby, eating Subway, Burger King, MM, the location is not bad; There is a simple meal in the morning; However, in the room where I stayed, my colleague from the same company said that there would be a strange taste of ”roughly pen”, while the sheets and toilets were quite normal.
