"Everything is OK, except that the air conditioner is inside the wall at the head of the bed, which is very noisy and disturbs the rest. The hotel is relatively new, and the facilities are fine. The breakfast is OK, double tree standard, and everything is about the same"

"From check in to check out, excellent customer service. Lobby and rooms very clean and comfortable. Location right in the heart of town, with direct link to the FREE Metromover to Bayside Market place and Brickell Shopping Center. You can even walk to these both areas under 10 minutes if u prefer.
WHOLEFOODS GROCERY is just right around the corner for your daily needs and CVS 4 minutes walk away. There is a restaurants nearby.
South beach is UBER drive away under 10 minutes and cost about $10 US.. overall this is suitable for everyone and saves u money on transportation"

"A very beautiful hotel. It's like walking into a botanical garden, and the green plants are prettier than those in Vizcaya because they are much bigger (very subjective, Vizcaya is also very beautiful, but I think this one is better because I like big plants). The hotel rooms are also very special, everything is themed around the rainforest, and opposite is the pedestrian street, which is also very lively at night. The only thing is that I really hate hotels that don't have quilts. They use two cloth quilts, one underneath and one on top, which is very convenient, but I really hate the feeling of the quilt touching my skin!"

"5 points recommendation. I have a one-bedroom room with two beds. My family lives very comfortably. The living room is large and you can cook something for yourself. The tableware is complete and very new. A bottle of wine was given during the stay. If you choose not to clean the room, you can get two drinks every day. If I come to Miami next time, I will still choose to stay here"

"The only parking option is valet parking, which costs $37. The scenery is nice, right by the river. The swimming pool is relatively small. The monotonous breakfast is a common feature of Western hotels, but there is nothing to complain about."

"The hotel location is only about 10 minutes from the airport.
The hotel facilities are okay, the breakfast is so-so, American breakfast, English breakfast, some fruits, eggs, bacon, bread, milk, etc.

There are places to eat nearby. There is no place to order food near the hotel, only a canteen.
It takes about 20 minutes to drive from Little Havana. You can go and see the Cuban style there.
It's about 40 minutes away from Miami Beach. It's okay without traffic. During the curfew, it's fine during the day, but not at night for the past two days. A murder just happened there."

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, but it actually takes a 20-minute detour by car to get there. It's not easy to find because they changed their name to Holiday Inn Express without any clear notification.
Breakfast:
The breakfast area was under renovation, so breakfast had to be taken in the lobby area between 7:00 AM and 11:00 AM on the first day, then it changed to 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM without any notice. The breakfast options were limited: eggs, steak-like items that resembled cardboard, milk cartons, juice, coffee, and bread.
Dining Options:
There are no dining options at the hotel. You have to take an Uber or use Uber Eats to get food, as there are no nearby restaurants, just other hotels. The ongoing renovations meant no restaurant or bar was available on-site.
Rooms:
The rooms are spacious and I loved the sitting area. There are two TVs in the room, and the bathroom is perfect. However, like many American hotels, there were no toothbrush options and no hand showers.
Staff:
The staff were very professional and kind. I appreciated not having to present a credit card since everything was paid online.
Wi-Fi:
The Wi-Fi was good, but you have to re-enter the code every day.
Overall, the Cambria Hotel (now Holiday Inn Express) has its advantages, especially with room size and staff professionalism, but there are significant inconveniences due to the renovations and lack of dining options.

We had to prepare sofa bed ourselves, although stated during booking that we will use it.
Showering without flooding the bathroom was not possible. The dinner in hotel’s restaurant was good.
The balcony was quite spacious but is flooded if it rains. Fitness room and outdoor pool too small.
You hear the metro rail quite well and the construction noise and the fire department unit alarms.

GGuest UserWe were happy to have booked this hotel. Upon arriving at Miami International Airport, we went quickly to Door 5 on level 2 to catch the hotel shuttle bus. The wait was not long. Everything was smooth. We observed that the driver drove slowly passing every door and looked out if there were people waving to him. Such a great service.
The location of the hotel is good that we could travel by bus 7 to downtown Miami and went opposite direction to Dophin Mall.

GGuest UserGreat location but this hotel is very very tired, with paint peeling off the walls & a small inbox with a key which was the safe.
To cap it all 2 of the 3 lifts were not working at a time when people were trying to leave to go on their cruises. It took an hour on average to get to the ground floor.
They fixed one of the faulty ones thank goodness - but still only 2 lifts working.
We ate diner in the restaurant one night and the fries were disgusting, dark brown and fully of oil. We both left the fries.
We will not be staying again even though the location across the road from Bayside.

GGuest UserHotel itself was fine. Was a bit annoyed that the bar was not open even for a soft drink if wanted till much later. When I went down to get a bite to eat I was informed that most of the menu was not available and my selection was limited to about three items to choose from. What I found most annoying was that apparently they had some type of youth group training going on on my floor which was right next to my room. Numerous times I heard the participants laughing or conversing loudly in the hall way. Whenever I decided to leave my room to go downstairs I had to run through a gantlet of participants who were having their break out session in the hallway of which I had to walk through disrupting their conversations. While they were polite about it, it did make me feel uncomfortable to leave the room while they were doing this. When I did mention to the desk what was going on they told me about the group which was fine but I wish they would have put me on another floor if this was going on. Overall it was just an overnight stay here before a cruise but honestly next time I would choose a different hotel.

I arrived at 7:00 AM and found no staff, no reception, and no check-in instructions. My wife and I had to wait outside until another guest happened to come out and let us in. Inside, I met someone who I thought was staff, but he was just another guest. He tried to help me contact the hotel, but no one — not even other guests — could reach the manager.
There is no real lobby, just a yard. I waited three hours outside until someone finally responded. Then I was told I couldn’t check in until 3:00 PM unless I paid $100 extra. That’s way more than most hotels charge for early check-in which is about 20$. I asked for a refund so I could leave — they refused.
With no choice, I left my luggage with the housekeeper (the only helpful person) and had to walk around the city with my wife for six hours before coming back.
When I finally checked in, I just got a text message with a door code — no person, no welcome. The room had lots of bugs, and both of us got bitten badly overnight. There were even cockroaches in the kitchen.
This is not a real hotel. It’s overpriced, poorly managed, and has no customer service. Avoid if you care about basic hospitality.

GGuest UserFor the price of this hotel, it is in an excellent location and is very clean. During our stay, there were lots of things that weren’t working or were broken in the hotel, including the key card machine, so we were only given 1 key card for a room for 3 people. In our room, the bathroom door handle had been ripped off on the inside before we got there and one of our friends got locked inside with no way out. She tried multiple times on multiple numbers for the hotel/front desk and not a single one worked. They were either in Spanish and hung up immediately or were disconnected. Luckily she was able to get in touch with us to come and let her out (she was in the room alone) but that meant travelling back to the hotel from another location. We were told by the front desk after this incident that they would come and fix the door but they never did. The washing machines were also broken so we were only given 2 towels every few days between 3 people. If there hadn’t been so many things broken, it would have been a decent stay.
