"The service was fairly good. Every time I called the front office about more towels or needed help with anything they were there to answer and moved swiftly. The building and overall facilities are nice! I’m pretty sure it’s a newer building. It was a really good stay overall, this may be the best hotel in Wilmington. "

"Great hotel, mainly new, very new, so everything looks good, the front desk attitude is also very good, overall I feel that the price-performance ratio is very high. The location is a little bit near downtown, because I booked an Italian restaurant next to it, so I stayed here, and it was surprisingly great. Go out to the river on the left and the sea on the right, both are very fast!"

"I recently stayed at this Best Western and had a mixed experience. While the staff was friendly, there were quite a few issues that impacted my stay.
Firstly, the breakfast area was under renovation, and unfortunately, the appliances were not working, which meant that the eggs, sausage, and potatoes were cold. The area was also quite hot and crowded.
In the room, I encountered several maintenance issues: the door opener was broken, the internet was slow, the bathroom vent was not working, and the coffee machine was leaking and dripping on the floor. I did inform the reception, but the response was not prompt.
Overall, while the location was convenient, the condition of the facilities definitely needs some attention."

"My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ballast very much. It is located within walking distance of many things to do, see, and eat. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
Our room was very clean and that was comforting.
The bathroom, while clean, has a few unique characteristics. The sink has very little room between the faucet and sink bottom. The commode is extremely low to the ground. We found it quite odd.
We would stay again requesting a water view room. "

"The hotel is located next to the highway, about 10 minutes drive to downtown and the beach.
The facilities are old and the sofa is old. The bathroom does not know why it is very humid and the clothes are damp.
The strangest thing is that we put a large bag of snacks on the table and later found that there were a lot less, and it was estimated that it was stolen in the room. This is also the first time I have encountered it. I saw someone comment before that someone stole cash. Be careful."

The check-in associate was the friendliest person I have encountered in a really long time. The Hotel was clean inside and out. There was many restaurants in close proximity.

Guest UserA new, good hotel with a large parking lot and a large room. And a strangely narrow bed!
Such beds on 2 in bad motels stood.
Otherwise everything is great if you are on the car.
And for breakfast there was even strawberry and pigeon.

It’s a pet friendly hotel. Our dog enjoyed his staying with us there. The rooms are clean. However, Breakfast is just okay. Overall, we had a nice time there.

The service was awesome. The facility was great and they also had great breakfast food. I gave you a five out of 10, but I definitely enjoyed myself in Wilmington North Carolina.
