"A very good experience; the hotel is small and exquisite. The bed was very comfortable, especially the bedding. Cleanliness was excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful. The fruit was large and fresh. The boiled eggs were particularly thoughtful, with separate 10-minute and 3.5-minute options. It was a very convenient short walk to the old town. The only problem was that they called to check out right at 11 am. I helped my elderly relatives pack their luggage, but then I couldn't open my own room door."
"Had an unforgettable day in Bruges! This hostel is great overall. The front desk staff were really nice, and even though the toilets and showers are shared, they were very clean and plentiful. You can cook in the shared kitchen, and since the hostel is in a street-front house, you can always step outside to sit by the door and enjoy the breeze – very chill!"
"We loved our stay. The hosts made us feel like we were visiting their home, not a hotel. The historical building was amazing, but at the same time cozy. At breakfast they served fresh coffee and fresh fruit along with other breakfast items. I would recommend Lucca to anyone visiting Bruges."
"The hotel is basic no frills but was perfect for us for a couple of nights. We booked a triple room for myself my husband and our 11 year old son. The room was huge and also had a little kitchen area which was great. The location is great right off the main square. There is not air con but they do provide a large fan which was enough to cool the room when sleeping. The shower room had a shower over a bath tub which had great pressure and the towels provided are lovely and fluffy. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again"
"This hotel is ideally located on a canal and close walking distance to tourist sites and restaurants. Great service, clean and safe hotel. Family room was great with added bonus of a kitchen and air conditioning."
"The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the station, which is a bit of a distance, but it's very convenient as it's close to tourist attractions.
I stayed in a single room. It's a simple room with just a bed and a sink, perfect for those who only need a place to sleep.
Since the main accommodation is dormitory rooms, there's a shared kitchen, which is great for guests looking to save on meal costs."
"A wonderful stay. Living room over the canal was stunning. You can open the window fully and sit in the deep window seat and enjoy the ambience. Sweet garden to chill in by the canal. Refurbed modern bathroom with rolltop bath and super comfy large bed. The best ever breakfast. Really lovely hosts. We’d definitely go back. Stairs to bedroom are steep but automatic light helps. Need to extend the handrail."
