"Facility was very nice - especially with the fridge and washing machine, which makes it very convenient for travellers on extended trips. Breakfast, as the name suggests, is a very strong point of the hotel with fresh sashimi and a lot of local delicacies available. Although on busier days the restaurant might seem a bit small, but overall it's managable. Even for those plans without breakfast they would provide you with a smoothie everyday as well so that's a good point. Also enjoyed the free drinks available, especially on the alcoholic drinks provided in the condonium. Distance-wise it was within walking distance to the city centre and very close to the airport bus stop."

"B&B type. The single room I live in is small and well-equipped with common household appliances, including a washing machine, gas stove, microwave, oven, rice cooker, kettle, etc. If you are willing, you can go to the nearby market to buy materials to start your own business. With a small balcony and clothes drying equipment, the scenery outside is great. You can walk up the bridge. There is a small viewing area in the center of the bridge, where you can see the whole port. The neighborhood is relatively deserted and there are not many businesses. However, Ishigaki itself is very small. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the area with the public market as the core, and there is a FamilyMart and a duty-free shop 3 minutes downstairs. It's about a 10-minute walk to Ishigaki Port, from where you can take a boat to other outlying islands. There is a pier not far downstairs, where people fish at night, and there is also a fishing gear shop. Anyone who is interested can try it."

"Very clean and well organised. The guest house is kept spotless and has all that you may need. From the rooms which are very well organised and each person has his unique space kind of like a small room to himself, to the temperature of the aircon, which too often is kept very low, whereas here it is kept cool but not freezing. The service is very good, there is always someone in reception from 7AM to 11PM and they are always ready to help. Toilets are super clean and well kept, and you are given 2 towels daily for you to use. Also, if you stay more than 5 nights, you get a new set of bedsheets to use (you have to change them on your own). The kitchen is very well equipped and if you want to cook, they have all the necessary tools. Also, the common room is very well displayed, it is cosy and a nice space to socialize. An additional room to hang to dry wet clothes is outside of the back entry and can be very handy after a day at the seaside. Overall, one of the best guesthouses I have been in during my trip in Japan."

"The fire alarm went off for over 30 minutes in the early morning. Hotel staff didn't come out until about 10 minutes later and offered no official explanation. They only spoke in Japanese to the people who had evacuated outside, and then simply said ”no fire” in English. The next day, there was still no announcement, and the staff's handling of the situation was very disappointing. The pool had a lot of leaves and debris floating in it, and cleaning only happened much later. There were no staff members at the pool, so I couldn't ask for towels or request a cleaning. The service really fell short compared to the facilities."

"This hotel is located right in front of the bus stop that leads to Ishigaki Airport and Ishigaki Port. There are also large supermarkets like San-A and MaxValu nearby, so you won't have any trouble buying souvenirs or groceries. Its convenience is unquestionable. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Ishigaki Island in the future."

"It's a really nice place and comes fully equipped, including a washer with detergent and a spacious balcony for air drying clothes. The toiletries and amenities are also great, and even the toilet paper is good quality, not thin or flimsy. You can occasionally hear sounds from the corridor, but they are brief and not very disruptive. There is no street noise, very quiet. However, if you book a second floor room, you will need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Free parking is available. The location is a short walk to the town area and public market, and about a seven minute walk to the bus stop. Before check in, you need to call the property to get the door code, as there are usually no staff on site, you could do it via app so it is fre. This may be inconvenient for some guests. I recommend calling in advance, as they do not always pick up immediately."

"Although it is a bit far from the city center, it didn't matter much since we rented a car. We were satisfied because we could see the beautiful, uncrowded sea from our room. At night, you can see the stars clearly just by stepping out onto the balcony. The room was spacious, so it didn't feel cramped for a family of four, and it was clean. The breakfast was better than expected, and all the staff were friendly. The swimming pool is small, but it wasn't inconvenient as hardly anyone used it. However, the parking lot seemed a bit small. It didn't seem like there were that many guests, but there were no spaces available late at night. Nevertheless, it was a satisfying stay overall."

"The hotel staff were very helpful and nice. The ladies at breakfast were sweet and on to it. But the room… was pretty gross. There was black mould on the shower curtain, sweat / dirt stains around the bed where it evident that people have sweated or leaned on. Felt like some one had been there for months on end. Eerie and sweaty vibes. To top it all off the shower head gave me pimples on my face."
