Due to availability, the reception staff were able to upgrade us to a larger room at no extra charge. The reception staff were also very welcoming and helpful, assisting us with our queries at check-in. The room was spotless and the humidifier was a welcome sight given the dry climate in Kunming. We appreciated having strong water pressure in the shower and a very responsive housekeeping team that responded immediately to our request to top-up the room’s toiletries. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would reconsider staying here again for future trips

The location is super convenient! Just a short walk to the high-speed railway station. The 24-hour front desk service was exceptional—Jake, Amy, and Suki went above and beyond by helping us with a late check-out and a room upgrade, which was a huge help. The room was also very clean and tidy, and they even thoughtfully prepared toys for the kids. They also offer free laundry service. It really added so much color to our trip to Kunming!

This is one of the best budget hotel I ever stayed. Super value for money. Located just a few minutes walk from the railway and metro station make traveling convenient for tourist like us. There are also many nice eateries within walking distance and nearest Wanda Mall is just 10mins away by taxi too. We had a wonderful dinner in a Hotpot restaurant at the fourth level of your mall. Unfortunately, the mall is really quite with little customers due to impact caused by online shopping. Most shops closed down. The female hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and well maintained with AI assistance system. It even comes with a projector. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit to Kunming.

The separate wet/dry bathroom was impeccably clean, the Wi-Fi speed was excellent, and the service was polite and attentive. It's less than a 5-minute walk from the train station, which is super convenient whether you're traveling for leisure or business.

Great for a layover as it's very close to Kunming Railway Station, saving travel time. I stayed here when I first arrived in Yunnan, and chose it again when taking the high-speed rail back home. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the overall environment is quiet and comfortable. The staff are warm and welcoming, responding to requests promptly. They even provided complimentary fruit upon check-in, showing thoughtful and attentive service. Highly recommended!

Location: Conveniently situated yet peaceful amidst the hustle and bustle. If you are coming from the train station, we recommend taking the diagonal path shown in the photos; it's much easier for pulling luggage than walking all the way along Yongsheng Road, saving you from constantly going up and down curbs or having your suitcase wheels rattle painfully against the paving stones. For getting around later, hailing a cab right outside the hotel is very convenient, and taxi fares to all the major attractions are quite cheap. Amenities: The room is very spacious, the TV is huge, and the bedding is extremely comfortable. The front desk staff and everyone else we met were super welcoming, even upgrading the room for our elderly family members. The breakfast was also delicious. The bedside features a smart control panel and a Type-C charging port, perfect for people who like to use their phones or laptops while lying in bed. Thoughtful Details: There are directional signs to the elevator near the door lock, disposable toilet seat covers in the restroom, and facial cleansing towels provided in the sink area. In the room type I booked, the bathroom is right outside the toilet and a clothing-hanging area, which is very convenient for anyone who wants to change clothes or apply body lotion right after taking a shower (though layout may vary by room type). There is an electronic mosquito repellant on the nightstand, and the best part is the complimentary laundry service—unless you drop off your clothes quite late, you can get them back washed and dried on the same day. Drawbacks: The only thing that needs improvement is the flush toilet. Every time you sit down and activate it, it starts flushing, but the water splashes quite violently (to the point of getting your bottom wet). I'm not sure if this is the case in every room, but both rooms we booked had this issue. Both I and the elderly family members had a wonderfully satisfying stay this time. Thumbs up to the entire hotel staff! 👍🏻

The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were efficient. I can only leave an excellent review for this place. We are an Italian couple who stayed here for one night. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. The owner is an exceptionally welcoming and kind person. Having arrived at the station at 6 in the morning, she offered us another room to rest in since ours wasn't ready yet, and check-in wasn't until 2:00 PM—thank you again so much for this gesture. Inside the room, you'll also find a hair dryer, a kettle, mugs, air conditioning, a projector, and even a bathroom heater. The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel with a unique fragrance. We also had the chance to meet the cleaning lady, who was equally lovely and all smiles. Plus, there is a brand-new, highly efficient washing machine. I really wanted to write this review because, after reading the previous ones, I saw a totally unfounded and maliciously negative review left by a girl and her friend. This brand-new place deserves to be visited and to have a high rating. Thank you again for the hospitality, I hope to be back soon!

We booked three rooms in Kunming this time, and the twin rooms are a bit larger than the king rooms. Everyone really liked the hotel's service and hardware facilities. The location is very convenient—taking a taxi to Kunming Old Street is a breeze, and the railway station is within walking distance. The complimentary station drop-off service is fantastic. We didn't have time for breakfast, but they let us pack it to go 👍. There were also complimentary drinks and snacks in the room.

We stayed 2 days in Kunming before we proceed our trip Dali and we were very happy and satisfied with our right choice at Freshhomestay with the services provided and it really worth more than the money paid. We contacted the homestay before arrival for location information, the owner/staff WeChat us the location details and answered all our inquiries. The homestay upgraded our room with great Kunming City view. The room seemed newly renovated and clean. There are variety food at surrounding area.
