Hotels in Chenggong New District/South High-Speed Railway Station, Kunming

Everything was pretty good, and the hotel was new. It's right next to the subway station, and the hotel even offers a shuttle service. We visited Haiyan Village and Guandu Ancient Town. The surrounding area isn't very lively. We stayed here because we were going to Dali. The only thing was that nothing from the package deal we booked was given to us. I only remembered the elephant when my son saw it in the room and asked me about it. I then had to ask the front desk about it.

I've stayed here several times now. It's right in Colorful Yunnan, and there are plenty of restaurants downstairs, making dining incredibly convenient. The rooms are uniquely designed and very spacious. For the same price, I doubt you could find another hotel with rooms this large. The attention to detail in the room's decor is also very thoughtful. They even provide a washing machine and a drying rack, which is a huge plus since it's often hard to find a place to dry clothes after washing them. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a fantastic view of a sizable lake. You can sit and enjoy panoramic views of the lake and the city. Overall, my experience was extremely satisfying.

I stayed one night at the Hilton Garden Inn Kunming South, which was the last night of my Yunnan trip, and I was very satisfied. Both the interior and exterior of the hotel are beautiful, with lots of floral and green elements. The internal corridors are exceptionally wide, enough for three or four people to walk side-by-side, feeling more spacious than other chain hotels I've stayed in. The surroundings are very convenient. It's near a university town, with all sorts of delicious snacks, night markets, and restaurants nearby. The pickled cabbage and beef hotpot was especially good. It's also close to Kunming South Railway Station, and they offer complimentary shuttle service to and from the station. The hotel staff provided excellent service. The female receptionist was very kind and enthusiastic, giving me a free room upgrade. There was also an auntie who helped with laundry, and the shuttle driver was very good too. It's definitely worth staying here.

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in the past two years in terms of service. Facilities: It's like a brand new hotel, incredibly well-maintained and fully equipped. The elevators are super fast; it's rare to find a hotel where you don't have to wait to go up to the 30th floor, and this is one of them – amazing! Hygiene: The cleanliness is impeccable, with no untouched corners. The bedding is fantastic, and both the mattress and pillows are very comfortable. Environment: The transportation is very convenient, with shopping areas both in front and behind the building. The city street views and natural scenery are all beautiful. Service: The service is simply beyond words, incredibly thoughtful. Check-in was seamless, and all issues were handled very promptly with an excellent attitude. The welcome fruit platter was generous, the handwritten card was a lovely touch, and they proactively offered water. The butler service was spot-on. I was also very satisfied with the restaurant. It was an absolutely flawless stay. There was even bread in the room, which was an incredibly thoughtful touch. 100% recommended, 100% positive review.

I stumbled upon this hotel by chance, and my overall experience exceeded expectations. The room was very clean, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, making for a quiet night. I initially booked this hotel online without much thought, and honestly, the value for money is absolutely incredible. The lobby greeted me with a lovely floral scent, and the front desk staff were professional and efficient, making check-in super fast. They patiently answered all my questions, and when they found out we enjoyed watching sports, they even upgraded us to a deluxe cinema king room. Watching the World Cup on the 120-inch screen was fantastic! The room was spotless, the bathroom had no strange odors or water stains, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The whole room was well-ventilated and felt fresh. The facilities were well-maintained and looked new; the lighting, hot water, and air conditioning all worked perfectly. The soundproofing was excellent, so I wasn't bothered by any hallway noise. Downstairs, it's right next to Wanda Plaza, and just a bit further is Qicai Yunnan No.1 City, so you can find any kind of food you're craving. Unfortunately, it's been raining a lot in Kunming recently. I went out without an umbrella, got caught in the rain, and started feeling a bit sick. I ordered some medicine and filled in the address provided by the front desk, but after waiting over half an hour, it still hadn't arrived. My phone even showed it as delivered. I called the delivery driver to ask where it was, and it turned out he had delivered it to the wrong building. He refused to come back and redeliver it, and then hung up on me, which made me furious. I asked the front desk for help finding my medicine. When they learned I had a cold, they brought me a cup of hot water for my medicine and thoughtfully brought an umbrella, reminding me that it's rainy season in Kunming and it's better to carry one. Their service truly warmed my heart. I will definitely be strongly recommending this place to my friends here.

I have to specifically commend the hotel's environment and cleanliness! Every corner of the room was thoroughly cleaned, the bedding was brand new, and the room had excellent soundproofing – I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway at all. The amenities were great, with plenty of hot water and strong air conditioning. The staff, Li Juan Vivian and Manager Liu, were incredibly enthusiastic and responsive. The price was also very reasonable. I felt safe, relaxed, and at ease during my stay.

The first time I came to Kunming University Town, there are many snacks nearby. The hotel is a new hotel and is my favorite type. Living on the 22nd floor, looking at the scenery of the city, refreshing, plus the climate of Kunming is very comfortable, a little reluctant to leave! The hotel laundry room is very new, the equipment looks very powerful, very trendy, much better than the washing machine at home, this is definitely recommended! It is worth mentioning that the front desk sister is very enthusiastic and presented 2 flower cakes, saying that it is a local feature, so I must taste it! My colleague and I went to fish for more than two hours to play in Yuhe Park. Dianchi Lake is really beautiful, and the weather is cool, and I don’t sweat at all. It’s super fun and worth recommending!

The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was soft, and the facilities were complete. The breakfast was plentiful and even included local specialties.
