Second stay at Nightcap Riverside. Price point was my main motivation, I paid $130 for the night. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, well equiped, well heated .Renovated. Bed was very comfortable, black out blinds good. Hotel internet signal strong and good speeds. Location is about 5 kms north of the CBD, need a car.  a 20 minute drive from the airport. Meals at the Riverside Tavern next door typical pub meals, large servings and reasonable quality. A small convenience store just across the road, a Woolworths supermarket about a 3 minute drive away. Some noise from the highway nearby, but quiet during the night. Fair bit of noise early ( circa 6 am on ) as early morning workers driving past, and quite a few “ tradies “ stay at Nightcap Riverside and start early. Didn’t bother me as I rise early also, but don’t expect a sleep in.  Overall, very good value for the price point.

We loved our beautiful and very comfortable room in this characterful property. Very clear instructions provided for easy self check in. Continental breakfast including delicious fresh fruit salad and riendly service.

Room was clean and comfortable, location was convenient, and staff were very friendly – overall a very pleasant stay.

Splendid experience at the Gorge Deluxe Room. Very clean and spacious with a lovely view of the river and hills nearby.  Plenty of hiking routes available nearby which is ideal for those looking for a good walking experience.  For dog lovers, walking Archie (the silo dog) is also a great add-on!  First time for us walking a dog at a 5-star hotel.

Good hotel, rooms nice, good location to shops, cafes, restaurants, City Park & museum. Staff friendly & helpful.

The hotel and room are super cute (heritages kind). Love the outside environment ( quiet, gardens, flowers, parking). Only one thing make me bit not so comfortable is they won’t allow you to check in after 7pm (I might be overlook when I make booking as they claim this was indicated on the website) I receive msg few hours before 7pm while I still at Maria Island. They insist me to rush to check in b4 7pm or else, extra charge will be needed.

Friendly service, easy to checkin and out. The room was clean and airy and had everything we needed for a quick trip.
