"No breakfast, no extra bed, not suitable for bringing children, the location is not accurate, but the school security department is very responsible, find someone to send us to the hotel"
"Great location. Nice ambience. It’s very close to my work site, around 2 minute walk with just one block away. Very nice reception and staff who would answer to your requests at their best. One thing I’d say is the cleaning service, where some of members are not the best at being proactive when I put my sign on."
"Great for price very friendly lady at front desk she's very accommodating! Rooms are spotless and soundproof and the room had flooring not carpet which I absolutely love! Waterpressure is great the bed super comfy"
"I stayed at King's College, which is adjacent to Dalhousie University, where Lucy Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables, studied. The historic building and campus are wonderful, and I'm glad I stayed here. The building and facilities are old, so there is no elevator and the toilets are shared on each floor, but they are clean. The room is spacious and has a mini kitchen, but no dishes or pots. There are towels, but no tissues. After checking in, I didn't know how to open the door, so I went to ask, but the two students at the reception desk were very kind and helpful. I had dinner at a Turkish restaurant nearby. The No. 1 bus stop was right next to it, so it was convenient to go to downtown."
"We loved our stay here. We were celebrating a birthday and they made sure to make it extra special for us. Amenities were excellent and staff were warm and friendly. Location was convenient and walking distance from the Halifax downtown and the harbour front."

Amazing
EErnest KurishI recently stayed at Chateau Bedford, and had a great experience. The location is very convenient, especially if you're coming from the airport. It’s also close to COSTCO and IKEA, which was super handy for some quick shopping. Getting to downtown and the main shopping malls was also easy, making it a great base for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay better. The room was very clean, and the facilities were good, offering everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it's great value for money, and I’d definitely recommend it if you're visiting the area.
GGuest UserHigh end hotel comparable to Marriot. Very comfortable. Very clean. Huge room with high ceiling. Denny's is open 24/7. Bus stop to go to Bridge Terminal or shopping is a 3 minute walk. Deducted a star for inadequate sound insolation. Footsteps & voices can be heard from the unit above us.
GGuest UserThe room was clean, fast check in. Near to Thai Express restaurant, Wendys and Tim Horton’s. 5mins drive to nearest store. Easy landmark to look around the downtown area.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good. It is near the pier in the center of Halifax. It is very convenient for shopping and eating. The breakfast in the hotel is very good. The hotel room is a suite. The room is large and clean.
GGuest UserOur family of four really enjoyed staying at the Moxy Halifax. The hotel is fairly new and has a very cool vibe to it. The staff were friendly and service was top notch. We stayed in the room with 4 bunk beds and it came with 4 free drinks at the bar. The beds are spacious enough for my husband and I to share a bed. The amenities provided by the hotel were excellent. They have an amenities cabinet where you help yourself to toothbrushes, toothpastes, body lotion, sanitary pad extra towels etc. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserIt was unclear to me when I booked online that a “physical” credit card was required to use for a damage deposit. *I had loaded my credit card to my wallet on my iPhone & left the physical card @ home. (I don’t carry a purse, so this was a great option for me). The motels policy was credit card to use as a damage deposit…NO exceptions 😱 I had offered to use cash, but, was told no 😱😱 It just so happened that I had a credit card tucked away in my glove box or I would have been out of luck…would not have been allowed to check in & would have lost $400 on the room rental. SO…beware travellers!!
GGuest UserThis hotel is about 5 min shuttle ride from the airport. The free shuttle operates every thirty minutes to and from the airport. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and service here was exceptional for the evening meal. Note: There is no external restaurants or shops near the hotel. However, there is a very interesting Aviation Museum, just 2 minute walk from the hotel. You could easily spend about 1 to 2 hours exploring the exhibits and admission is free, but small donation is requested. The tariff includes a complimentary breakfast, which is very similar to 2-3 star hotel establishments, with plastic plates and cutlery. The only hot option is eggs and a sausage mix or similar. The rooms have a microwave, and small sink (a mini kitchen). There is a communal laundry which operates on a coin system using commercial washing machines and dryers. An internal pool is also available. My room has some views of airports - (freight aircraft) across the freeway. Overall, this hotel represents good value for money, especially compared to other airport options.
GGuest UserI was skeptical when I booked this hotel, but was wowed when I checked in. The guy at the front desk (Ryan) was super helpful, patient, and full of smiles. The hotel was super clean starting from the lobby to our room. Our room was spacious and I love everything about the room - clean, comfy bed with extra pillows, clean bathroom. The breakfast had lots of options that suited everyone from cereal to oat, toast, pancake, muffins, yummy cinnamon roll, pork sausage, turkey sausage, and cheese omelet. As a non-pork eater, I love the fact that they had the turkey sausage option. The checkout was seamless. I recommend this hotel.
