Loved it here! I’d been recently staying at a serviced apartment nearby while working on a project and decided to try this spot out as something different. While the room I rented was smaller, it was plenty of space to work from and the peaceful vibe couldn’t be beat. The staff is super friendly, and the food at the restaurant is outstanding! The location is a short walk to the busy Sea World area, which has more than enough tasty places to eat, and hang out. The Nanshan Mountain park hike nearby was so lovely, and in the other direction toward the bay, is an incredible seaside walk and cultural center. Looked into joining a gym but that Nanshan mountain park has enough outdoor workout equipment that you don’t even need one. Plus, the hike is a good workout alone. Love this place. I’ve been coming to Shenzhen for years and I’ve always stayed near the factroy we work with. No longer! 😄 Nanshan is the spot and this lovely hotel is such a good option. Also, check out the Shenzhen Bay Culture Plaza and design museum with its distinctive AirPod-looking buildings while you’re there. It’s just a short subway or DiDi ride away.  I need to come back to the area in a week or so, and I’ve already booked again.

I was very happy with the room this time. It had a balcony and a glass house, which made it super cozy for a winter stay. The courtyard was also immaculately clean. All the staff were incredibly friendly and responsible. The breakfast was good too. Highly recommend.

The hotel's location is fantastic, offering a view of the newly opened K11 in Shenzhen. Our 270-degree seaview room had an incredible vista. The service was also very thoughtful and attentive, with the front desk responding promptly. The hotel even offers a complimentary buffet late-night snack between 10 PM and 11 PM, and the welcome fruit was super fresh. You can take a really pleasant stroll along the coastal boardwalk from Sea World's Minghua Ship to the Art Center and then to K11. 😌

Traveling as a family of four, we booked two rooms and were quite pleased. The rooms offered great views and were spotlessly clean. However, the rooms with sealed windows had a slight odor. It would be more convenient if the laundry room provided baskets or laundry bags. The location is excellent, with easy access to dining and the subway downstairs, and parking was also very convenient. We'll definitely book here again on our next trip to Shenzhen.

The hotel facilities include a laundry room and a restaurant. Downstairs, there's a whole commercial area connected to Shekou Port, with plenty of food and drink options. It's also very close to K11. If you search for the Huawei flagship store, there's an outdoor children's play area right outside, which is convenient if you're traveling with kids. The view is just okay, and the room was a bit cramped. The service was excellent. Seeing that we had children, they proactively offered two small snacks and two pony keychains, which the kids loved.

GGuest UserI was unexpectedly stranded at Shenzhen North (Shenzhenbei) during the busy holiday season and urgently needed a place to stay. After comparing several listings on Trip.com, this hostel stood out based on its reviews, and it fully lived up to my expectations. The photos are accurate and reflect the property exactly as it is. The host prepared the bed sheets and pillowcases right in front of me, which immediately reassured me about the cleanliness. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Cleanliness is one of my top priorities when choosing accommodation because I value my health, and I felt completely comfortable staying here. I saw no pests or anything unhygienic, so if you’re concerned about that, you can rest easy. The host speaks basic English and was very welcoming. Since I had just traveled from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen North, he even kindly offered to show me around the area. There are plenty of food options nearby, I enjoyed Lanzhou noodles and stinky tofu just steps from the building. For clarification, the hostel is located inside an apartment building and operates in a dorm-style setup. Shoes are removed at the entrance, and guest slippers are provided. There is a comfortable common area with a sofa and dining table, free drinking water, and complimentary toiletries including a toothbrush and disposable towel, which was especially helpful since I had forgotten to pack one. The bathroom is modern and equipped with a Western-style sit-down toilet. Each bed has its own privacy curtain and personal light, which I appreciated. There are also power outlets conveniently located at each bed. Wi-Fi worked smoothly without any issues, and free laundry is available, which is a great bonus for travelers. There are designated quiet hours, so you can sleep comfortably. During my stay, it was peaceful and no one snored. The host even asked whether I snore, which shows he is considerate of all guests. The other guests were polite and respectful. I was the only foreigner staying there, and the rest were Chinese travelers who were likely in the same situation, unable to secure train tickets that night. The property is non-smoking, which I also appreciated. The only minor downside is for taller guests. I am 183 cm (6 ft), and I had to curl up slightly since the bed length appears to be around 180 cm. It was manageable, but something to keep in mind if you’re tall. The location is very convenient. It’s next to the train station, and you can easily take the subway if you have luggage. It only cost me 2 RMB to ride, so there’s really no need to take a taxi. In the morning, I bought pork steamed buns and soy milk from a nearby vendor, he was friendly, and the food was great. For $4, this was outstanding value. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and convenient place to stay near Shenzhen North, this is an excellent option. Hopefully this review helps anyone considering staying in the area.

AAbby GoThis time, I stayed at the Citigo Hotel near Futian Port. At around 800 RMB per night, including breakfast, it offers good value for money. The hotel is noticeably a step above other HUAZHU hotels, with a more German-style decor. Of course, basic hygiene is absolutely not an issue. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, a rain shower, and a decent Laifen hairdryer. The room comes with two bathrobes for double occupancy. There's also a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary items like Coke, soda water, and craft beer. The round table in the room is quite large, perfect for using a laptop or eating takeout. The room also provides complimentary coffee for brewing, tea, and an air freshener whose scent I personally found very pleasant – much more natural and subtle compared to perfume. The view from the hotel window is entirely skyscrapers, and some room types even offer a sea view. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the guest rooms can also be opened. Breakfast was also good, with a rich variety of dishes and fruits. If you want to try delicious freshly made handmade rice rolls, you can look forward to it. If you have a generous budget, I highly recommend choosing this Citigo Hotel under the HUAZHU brand; the enhanced experience is quite significant.

MMAOBEA stay to remember: The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen. Review of Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen Reviewed yesterday There are hotels you visit, and then there are hotels that leave an imprint on your soul. The Mandarin Oriental, Shenzhen, belongs firmly and unequivocally in the latter category. From the moment I stepped into its soaring lobby, I knew this would be one of those stays that redefines what luxury hospitality means. Arrival and Reception First impressions matter, and the reception team at the Mandarin Oriental understands this with an almost intuitive grace. Jason Zhu greeted me with the kind of warmth that felt less like a rehearsed welcome and more like being received by an old friend who just happens to have impeccable professional instincts. His attention to detail was extraordinary — he had noted my preferences before I could voice them, and the check-in process was so seamless it barely registered as a process at all. Sicily and Marsh were equally outstanding, always present at just the right moments with a smile, a helpful suggestion, or a thoughtful gesture. Together, the three of them set a tone of effortless elegance that carried through every hour of my stay. In a city as fast-paced and forward-looking as Shenzhen, there is something deeply reassuring about a reception team that makes you feel as though time has slowed down just for you. The Club Skyline View Room If the lobby whispered luxury, the Club Skyline View Room declared it in full voice. Perched high above the glittering sprawl of Shenzhen, the room offered a panorama that genuinely stopped me in my tracks. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the city's dazzling skyline — a forest of illuminated towers stretching toward the horizon, the lights of Futian and beyond shimmering like an earthbound constellation. I found myself drawn to the window repeatedly, at golden hour, at twilight, and again in the deep hours of the night, each time discovering a different mood and a different kind of beauty. The room itself was a masterclass in refined design. The palette was calm and sophisticated, with rich textures and thoughtful layering that felt contemporary yet timeless in the way the Mandarin Oriental has always done best. The bed was, simply put, superb — the kind of bed that makes you reconsider every mattress you have ever slept on and find them all wanting. Linens were crisp and impossibly soft. The bathroom was a sanctuary of marble and glass, generously appointed with the brand's signature amenities, and the soaking tub positioned near the window offered what might be one of the finest bathing experiences in southern China. Every detail, from the lighting controls to the turndown service to the quiet hum of climate perfection, spoke of a property that understands the difference between filling a room with expensive things and creating a genuine sense of place and comfort. The Mandarin Club Accessing the Mandarin Club elevated an already exceptional stay into something truly rarefied. The lounge itself is a beautifully curated space — serene, sophisticated, and blessed with those same sweeping skyline views that make this property so special. But what transforms the Club from a lovely room with good canapés into a genuinely memorable experience is its people. Chelsea Zhou is a revelation and deserves a special mention. Her hospitality instincts are pitch-perfect; she anticipated needs I hadn't yet articulated, and managed to be attentive without ever being intrusive — a balance that even the finest hotels in the world struggle to achieve. Priscilla Pang was equally impressive, radiating a genuine kindness and professionalism that made every interaction a pleasure. Whether it was the afternoon tea service, or the evening menu and cocktails, Chelsea and Priscilla ensured that every moment in the Club felt personal, polished, and quietly luxurious. I returned to the lounge far more often than I had planned, not just for the excellent food and drink,

CChendashuaige0321I came here due to its reputation and was utterly captivated by this place's style and quality. Even though it's been open for a while, it still exudes an air of understated luxury, perfectly embodying what it means to be timeless and enduring. This experience is truly a rare find. The moment you step inside, you're enveloped by a sense of refinement and opulence. There's no deliberate ostentation, but rather a subtle, sophisticated elegance. Every fixture, every detail has been meticulously crafted, with carefully selected materials and graceful lines. It's a blend of vintage and luxury, imbued with a profound sense of history that comes with age, as if every corner holds a story from time past – quiet yet undeniably grand. What's most surprising is that even after years of operation, it's maintained as if it were brand new. The walls, soft furnishings, and facilities are all impeccably preserved, showing no signs of wear or age. The cleanliness and quality are consistently top-notch. You can clearly feel the dedication and passion of the owners, who have transformed the marks of time into a unique charm rather than flaws of old age. It possesses both the graceful dignity of old-school luxury and the refined state of something completely new. These two qualities merge perfectly, offering a warmth and depth that new places lack, and an exquisite refinement that old places often miss. Being here, you can feel the historical ambiance shaped by time, while also enjoying the ultimate in luxurious comfort. The service throughout is attentive and thoughtful, perfectly matching the high-end tone of the place – not overly intrusive, but just right. Whether you're relaxing for a short while or immersing yourself in the experience, it's incredibly comforting. This beauty, which remains radiant through the years, is truly unforgettable. It's definitely a treasure worth revisiting again and again, having truly perfected the art of blending luxury with a sense of history.
