"Everything was quite good. It's clean and only have to walk about 10 min towards the center!! Love the little balcony and it's so chill just sitting there."
"Toma is a perfect host, super friendly and offers a list of great recommendations as you check in. The rooms are decent and located just beside the old town. Clean rooms and ac! Couldn’t have asked for a better location or more helpful staff. Toma was available for any questions throughout the day."
"I’m very satisfied over all. Considering the location, it took 30min by walk from the city center area, the price was very economic. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and managed me to do early check out. There was a small guide of sightseeing in the room with all the information I need and it helped me to do plan a lot."
"We were on our honeymoon & the staff at Skaline decorated the room with ribbons and sweet messages! Really cute! All the staff were super friendly and sweet too. We found the bed too soft & our backs were aching & the staff helped to flip the mattress. We had a few early mornings & could not make it to breakfast and they gave us pre packed sandwiches fruits and a drink the night before! Room was clean, staff were great, a truly enjoyable stay!"
"The style of the hotel is very vintage, the room and toilet are very big. Our room located next to the road, not too noisy at night time. We had no problem sleeping. It is in the edge of the old town, very easy to get to the center and main attractions. Only downside is the curtain at the door doesn’t really seem to be big enough to cover lights."
"Overall, I'm very satisfied. The only inconvenience is having to call the landlord to open the door upon check-in, as non-internet phone calls are sometimes unavailable overseas."
"Amazing hotel!! The price is incredible for what you get. The rooms are giant and fully equipped and beautiful! Rooftop has wonderful views of the old town. Great location in old town close to all the amenities as well as the bus and ferry station if you want to explore further. 10/10 would recommend."

Outstanding
SSeat 2AThis is an intimate 5-room establishment situated amidst the alleys of the Old Town, hence cars cannot drop passengers at the doorstep. Easy enough to catch a shuttle bus for EUR 8 from the airport to the bus station at the port, from which a Makarun staff will meet you and assist you with your luggage to the hotel, a 10-minute walk away. Breakfast is a la carte, as is to be expected for such a small establishment, comprising 3 courses - pastry/toast, eggs of your choice with cold cuts, and a dessert, complemented by tea coffee and/or juice. Food was more than adequate in terms of quantity and quality. My room was comfortable enough, though 2 issues were noticeable: * Instead of a flat cotton bed sheet, there was a fitted sheet made of what seemed like jersey, and looked more like a mattress protector. This was pilled and coarse, in contrast to the far smoother cotton quilt cover. When I brought this to the attention of the staff they explained that this is standard for the hotel. Whilst it did not affect the quality of my sleep, the coarseness of the sheet wasn't entirely pleasant * In the bathroom, the shower was mounted at waist height, hence one either had to hold the shower in one hand, or, if there was a need to use both hands to wash, then one would have to crouch under the shower while it was in its holder. Not particularly convenient. Overall a comfortable stay in a convenient location, enhanced by the friendly and solicitous Ivan and Mario.
Ttink Best location for visiting the old town. Delicious breakfast and an amazing view from the pool. Would highly recommend rooms with sea view. Bed is comfortable and rooms are big enough. Would also highly recommend to ask for a higher level room, view is impressive when you wake up in the morning.
AAlllallallThere are clear pros and cons. Pros Large parking space 3 minutes from the old town Clean bathroom Pretty because of the courtyard Cons No elevator Parking space is large, but difficult to get in. Is this the right place? Split is too noisy at night and the building itself is not soundproofed well Breakfast does not have many varieties.
GGuest UserMarko at Croparadise was exceptionally helpful and kind. Give him a raise! He made our check-in effortless and answered all our questions knowledgeably. The location is a 5 minute walk from the center of town and our room was spacious, clean, and quiet, as was the adjoining bathroom. We theoretically had to share with the other rooms in the suite, but we never saw anyone else for the bathroom or kitchen. We were only there overnight, not a prolonged stay, but it was everything we needed for a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to stay there again and would highly recommend it to everyone looking for a clean, affordable place very near the center of Split. Again, a big thanks to Marko who also went to great lengths to retrieve a couple of items we left behind.
TT_hdkspThe room was a bit smaller than I anticipated but the shower was great. The location is amazing, just outside the old town. Overall a pleasant stay.
