Hotels near Yosuien, Wakayama City

A very clean hotel and staffs very helpful. Location is perfect, only 3 - 4 mins walk to Wakayama Station. Enough space to store and open your luggage in the room. Lots of restaurants nearby. Free breakfast is simple but tasty. Hotel provide free coffee and a selection of tea bags all through the day, it's very nice. They even provide free postcards for guests to send to their home, love it! Will definitely choose Comfort Hotel Wakayama again next time when I visit there.

It's on the 6th floor of Hotel Granvia Wakayama, next to the train station. Very clean and well maintained. The room is bigger than traditional capsule. The bath room had a big bath tub. The public area has a microwave oven.

Simple and basic. Brand new. Easy to get in and out. Lots of privacy with one lift going up and another lift going down. They also do room rentals with 2 hours minimum.

Front staff so kind and friendly. Near from Wakayama Station.

Very convenient as it is very close to the train station. Hotel is a little older, but overall was a good stay.

Value for money. For the price paid. Can't complain much as got free driving from Kada station to the hotel. Cons is need to get the pic from train station to call as the number on the Google map and the banner can't go through. Recommended to use the hotel transport as walking is too far. Pros everything. There is a laundry coin as well which save our life alot as we travel 3 weeks to Japan. Do note the awajima shrine is just beside this hotel. Must visit and do see the sunset and sunrise. It was very cold that night when I arrived at the hotel. It’s about 8.30 pm with 3 degrees Celsius in October. The hotel is not too far from Wakayama Sta. I walked only 5-6 minutes. The staff at the counter was very friendly, kind and polite. He helped me to carry my luggage to my room. I book the Ryokan room so it’s so traditional Japanese with Yukata dressing. I love everything here and feel so warm staying at Katsuya Inn. I wish I could come back here again next year in Blossom 🌸 season. Nice room, Great location, just 5 mins walk from Wakayamashi Station. Decent breakfast provided also. Hotel also provide free use of washing machine and dryer.

Nine years ago, I visited here once, and I never expected to stay in the exact same room nine years later. The location and surroundings are excellent, the service quality is outstanding, and the food is superb. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality this time.
