GGuest UserThe location is convenient, just a 6-minute drive to downtown Dunedin, and within 3 minutes there are various dining options. The Botanical Garden is right next door. The room was clean and a good size, though the closet in the loft was a bit small. Going downstairs to use the restroom at night was also a bit inconvenient. Furthermore, the loft doesn't have a stove for cooking, only a microwave, and there's no drying rack for dishes and cutlery. The best part is the free self-service washer and dryer, but they can't be used after 9:00 pm.

GGuest UserECC is truly amazing. The interior design is incredibly stylish, the rooms are bright and spacious, and the aesthetics of industrial design are evident everywhere. I highly recommend it; it was a pleasant surprise.

GGuest UserOverall, this accommodation was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The unit was very spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean upon arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. The layout was practical and suitable for both short and longer stays, with ample space to move around and relax.
One of the biggest advantages was how easy the place was to locate. Clear directions and a convenient location made check-in smooth and stress-free, especially after a long journey. The surrounding area was also quiet and pleasant, allowing for a restful stay.
Cleanliness was clearly a priority, from the rooms to the common areas, which we truly appreciated. Overall, this accommodation offers great comfort, convenience, and value. We would definitely recommend it to others and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

GGuest UserThus hotels most appealing benefit is its location. It’s a short walk to the octagon, historical railway station and the excellent (and free admission) Pioneer Museum. It’s a short is also only a couple of streets from George Street which has lots of shopping and restaurants. A block away is a large supermarket for groceries. The room size is adequate with a fridge and kettle. The carpet could use a good cleaning. The main issue was with the shower. It has no enclosure and although the floor is sloped towards the drain we had to put towels around the floor to stop water from running everywhere. The towels and bath mat naturally got soaked. For the price and location I would recommend this hotel if you are. It looking for anything upscale.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the city center, only 5 minutes walk to the First Church and about 10 minutes to the train station. Parking is convenient and there are many places to eat. When checking in, there is no front desk and you have to call. The hotel is old but very clean. The elevator is too old and a bit scary. I bought bread for breakfast at the supermarket. There are bowls and basins.

TTommy_dejoReally nice looking room and a very good price performance ratio. And you even get a complimentary drink. Room was nice and warm upon arrival. I didnt really understand the self checkin for a second, cause i didnt know the rooms were directly at the parkinglot, where the whiteboards and the name are written. Really easy and useful for a fast checkin and checkout. I would stay there again.

Cchiichan_desuyoIt was a really great backpacker hostel! I can also convince you that the word of mouth is very good.
First of all, there is a lot of cleanliness. The shared space is beautiful and all the guests use it cleanly. Each room is also beautiful, and it is also great that the bed on the lower stage has a curtain and can be closed.
We are also prepared to drink hot chocolate and tea. New Zealand was cold in autumn, so I was very happy to have a warm drink when I returned to the hostel.
It was an early check-out in the morning with a late check-in, but he contacted me in advance and responded politely.
Also, it was a nice hotel that I would like to stay!

GGuest UserKudos to the check in staff, particularly, Sally Guo and Aaron who are both helpful n hospitable in assisting my family especially my hubby who needs accessible toilet n Sally took the trouble to find us a room for that purpose. Also the additional night booked with Dunedin Lodge simply worth it as they made sure we transfer to another room with ease in terms of checkout n checkin time. Next to botanic gardens n 5 mins walk to supermarket n local community are what I'd consider n recommend to all who'd like to find a suitable n excellent accommodation.

But its biggest advantage is that it is in the city center, very close to the most popular and beautiful station, the Octagonal Square, and other places.
