GGuest UserExcellent establishment, quality comparable to 4 star hotel IMO. Location in between Lisbon and Sintra. +Pos: Very clean and well maintained facilities, comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful owner couple. Small kitchen available for making simple breakfast BUT not for meal cooking. Fridge provided. 50/50: Location. It is a bit far from Lisbon centre, with little public transport choices nearby and a long ride (~1hour). Uber (~25mins). However, Uber is very affordable in Portugal, if you travel in group of 2-4 persons, then it is worth and convenience to take Uber. Then the location wouldn't be a problem. I chose to stay here because it locates in between Lisbon and Sintra, two major sites to visit in Portugal. I simply took Uber to both places and it works great for me. Saving effort as I didn't have to change hotel for both locations.

GGuest UserThe building has three floors, not many rooms, close to the sea. The toilet in the room has a peculiar smell, and the cost performance is lower. The hotel parking is less than 20 euros a day, and the breakfast is western food, and you can also cook something.

ZZH NIt is an old four-star hotel in a relatively quiet location. It is surrounded by residential buildings. It is 5 or 6 minutes' walk from the beach. The train station is 10 minutes away. Next door is a shopping mall for shopping, laundry, and supermarkets. It is more convenient. The hotel facilities are older and the rooms are on the thinner side. The bathtub design is not reasonable for showering. Water will spill out and wet the ground. Be very careful when entering and exiting. The air conditioner is either too cold or leaking. Parking, fitness and indoor swimming pools all require a separate fee. I have stayed in hotels in so many countries. Fortunately, this is the first time I encountered them. Fortunately, the hotel staff are very friendly and responsive. The thoughtful gift of a cake on my birthday is very nice😊 The breakfast is rich and delicious, and the bread is delicious. If you want to take a rest and vacation, it is a good choice👍

AAnonymous UserStandard three star hotel. Fantastic location and easy to get to all the main sightseeing stuff. Some aesthetic issues in the room. Cigarette burn in the cloth headboard, bathroom sink bowl wasn’t bolted down, and the top rain shower head didn’t work and the shower area had mold. Pretty standard European two single beds pushed together, no bigger than a dorm room mat and about as soft as a box spring. The air conditioner controller is just for show, the main staff has control over it. But other than a hard bed that would split down the middle having you fall through and in between the mattresses, a hot room, and a bathroom sink almost torn from the fixtures and nearly dropped on the ol toes the staff is amazing and the just having the sheer proximity to the lively restaurants and beaches overshadowed any of the negatives

CCarolyne_fsWhen I saw the hotel in a NGO, I was scared, but when I arrived at the site I was glad with care, care and zeal for the environment and everything that is done there. The rooms are enough for a short stay: clean and comfortable. The hotel is in front of the beach and I made a very pleasant walk around. If you are looking for an accessible place for a short stay, go without fear.

DDinaI had a nice stay in the hostel, it just feels like home and everyone was friendly and accomodating. What I really like was the location because it was just close to the beautiful Carcavelos Beach, shops and metro station are also nearby so it was very convinient. Another thing that I like about my stay was the amenities they offer like the kitchen where you can cook your food anytime, they also have a swimming pool, a spacious living area where you can watch tv or just chill with your phone or laptop. I would difinitely recommend this hostel and would probably stay here again on my next visit to Portugal.
