It was fantastic!! It takes about 30 minutes to get there from Central Station with a transfer, but even so, it's a hotel I'd definitely return to! In Stockholm, where prices are high, I think it offers the best value for money. - Breakfast, dinner, and a snack buffet are included in the stay. - Water, coffee, etc. are available 24 hours a day, and the lobby is spacious with power outlets and board games. You can relax before check-in and after check-out. - You can use the sauna as many times as you like for free and without a reservation. - A large shopping mall and supermarket are just a short walk away (there's even a microwave in the lobby). This hotel is highly recommended for those looking for a relaxing vacation or a stay-at-home stay rather than a hectic sightseeing trip.

We couldn’t have picked a better hotel for our quick vacation in Stockholm this April 2024. Motel L is stylish, reasonably priced and conveniently located. Upon entering the hotel, we were impressed by the contemporary design of the lobby and the carpeted floors. Our check in experience was a breeze. At 15 sqm, our room was on the small side but it was never lacking in style – there were two comfortable Carpe Diem beds and a rainshower in the bathroom. The soundproofing was also excellent affording us two restful nights. The location is unbeatable – there’s a coffeeshop (Espresso House) and a supermarket (ICA Supermarket) right next door. And the Martensdal tram station is just literally outside the hotel, like less than 50 steps away. It usually took us 20-30 minutes to get to T-Centralen. We were very pleased with Motel L and would never hesitate to come back here. Also worth mentioning are the warm and friendly staff. Shout out to May who really charmed us with her personality during our stay!

There's a well-stocked supermarket at the station with a good variety of locally produced items like chocs and jerky to buy home as gifts. It takes just a couple of minutes walk down the road to reach a Hop On - Hop Off bus pickup/drop-off point. In the evenings, there's complimentary water, tea, apples and toffees/mints at the spacious lobby. Very helpful frontline staff who provided clear directions and restaurant recommendations.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and come equipped with a kettle. A standard room costs around 1000 RMB per night and includes a very generous breakfast. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the Central Station and 5 minutes from T-Centrum. The hotel has a clear outdoor theme with a strong design aesthetic, and some rooms feature unique designs. The hotel lobby boasts a spacious bar and restaurant area, which is very lively and almost completely full in the evenings. The room didn't have complimentary water or disposable toiletries, but there was a kettle.

SShanghai based coupleI stayed here with my mom who is from Sweden and is 79 years old but was travelling from the UK where she now lives. We were visiting family, both in and around Stockholm. This was an important trip for her, and me and we really needed it to go well.
Given such high expectations and unusual requirements because of my mom’s her age, we were really surprised by how well this hotel delivered and absolutely delighted with our stay.
The location was flawless and allowed her to see and do things nearby unassisted, while also allowing us to use the train from the main train station 5 minutes away to go to a nearby town, as well as within walking distance to meet her old school friends in a quintessentially Swedish coffee shop in the centre of town.
Breakfast was very authentically Swedish, but it was a bit odd that they didn’t have limpa bread. Otherwise an excellent selection of Scandinavian food that was delicious and filling. The view to the Stadshuset (Stoholm’s City Hall) where the majority of the Nobel prizes are given out from in the restaurant was really charming.
The rooms were spacious and finished to a really high standard.
The service and the staff were fantastic, including Marcus who met us at the door and helped with out bags, as well as Hannah and George. We cannot thank the whole team enough for thoughtful and awesome work to make such an important trip so memorable, easy and enjoyable.

UUzura~my memory~Although it's far from the city center, it was conveniently located near a supermarket and bus stop. There was coffee and tea available in the common area, and cooking utensils were also provided, which was great. Personally, I liked that they offered free towel rentals. I'd love to stay here again when I visit Stockholm!! They also store luggage before and after check-in, but it's just left in the hallway like this, where lots of people pass by, and it's not visible from the reception, so I was a little scared that anyone could steal it (lol).

The location was unbeatable — just steps away from great shopping streets, excellent restaurants, and easy access to public transport, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. Many attractions like Nybroviken, Strandvägen promenade, and the metro are within walking distance, so it was incredibly convenient for sightseeing.
The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help, from check‑in to offering local tips. They made me feel truly welcome, and service throughout my stay was consistently excellent.
The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with modern design details that gave it a chic, Scandinavian vibe. While European city hotels sometimes have smaller rooms, everything felt well‑organized and cozy, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night’s sleep.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast buffet — it offered a variety of tasty choices and was a great way to start each morning before heading out to explore.
The hotel also has a lively bar and restaurant downstairs, perfect for grabbing a drink or dinner without going far. The overall vibe of the property was modern and fun, making the stay feel more like a memorable experience than just another hotel visit.

GGuest UserThe shower room very very small, no drop in the shower room floor, only a gentle falls, floors get wet easily. No slippers provided, good to bring your own. There’s no coffee tea making facilities, if you need hot water, has to get it from the lobby. The location is ok, next to World Trade Center and Arlanda Express. Standard Double Room size is ok for two person, enough space to open two 24” luggage.
