Hotels near Koh Lan, Koh Larn

I’ m here for my girlfriend’s birthday and done the booking yesterday. I got the booking confirmation instantly. And now we arrived to the hotel and checked in, that is when they got me surprised as a fellow hospitality service worker. They welcomed me so warmly like I have been here for many times and give me a room upgrade. I have been to koh larn and stayed in several hotels but this is the first time I got a surprise. I really appreciate it and hope someone can find this helpful for looking to stay on the Koh Larn Island. Cheers!! P.S - This hotel is just next to the pier so you can also easily find it within a few steps as soon as you arrive to the island.

I can't understand how this hotel got such a high rating. They don't respond to emails. They don't answer questions on the Trip.com chat. Our booking was mixed up. We booked a 'Sweet' room, but they had us down for a 'DeLuxe' for some reason. The price was roughly the same when we booked. We asked to switch rooms (at check-in) and were moved from DeLuxe #3 to Sweet #2 for an additional 700 baht! I then asked to change from room #2 to #1. They said it was already booked. I pointed out that when booking, you only select the room type, not a specific room number. They got flustered... but still insisted that room #2 was the only option. For anyone booking: the best rooms with views from the window and the top deck are DeLuxe #1 and Sweet #1. The room wasn't clean; there was trash lying around. An empty chip bag was in the bin. This isn't just dirtiness – it's an indicator of poor standards. There was a used towel on the hanger. No bathrobes were provided. The top floor was sandy everywhere, including on the sun loungers. I guess they're trying to create a beach atmosphere :) The windows were dirty. The bathtub was worn. The air conditioning was noisy. They only give you one key card. If you leave the card in the slot when you step out of the room (e.g., to your own top floor), the door locks behind you (and you can't open it from the outside). If you take the card out, when you close the door, the electricity cuts off, with all the consequences – AC turns off, phones stop charging, etc. I asked for a second key card, but they refused. This is just ridiculous... they're cutting corners on AC... and on their reputation. As an option, you could bring an extension cord and plug it into the 'refrigerator' outlet :) Seriously... it's the 21st century. Overall, it's a so-so hotel. For this price, I think there are much better options. Its location, yes, is good. I understand the laid-back nature of the Thais, but there's a limit. I don't want to stress out on vacation, and who does! So, weighing all the pros and cons, the cons definitely outweigh the pros. I don't know about you, but we are definitely not coming back here. Especially for that money... there are genuinely decent options nearby. And my peace of mind is more important! Breakfasts... were decent. There's a tasty build-your-own soup with a rice base and meat (meatballs), mushrooms, various toppings, etc. A small bowl of fruit and a tiny bowl of yogurt with 3-4 blueberries and 2-3 kiwi slices. They also bring a plated portion with an omelet or two fried eggs, two sausages, two pieces of bacon, two small triangular pieces of sausage, etc. Overall, breakfast was more or less okay. There were no issues with the transfer from the hotel to Na Ban Pier. We took the ferry departing at 9:30 AM. The trip to Bali Hai Pier took 30 minutes. After a couple of ferries sank, they now seem to be counting passengers and trying to avoid overloading.

The owner was very welcoming and attentive, and the staff were always ready to help. The stand-alone rooms were spacious and bright. The decor was cozy, everything was clean, and the environment was beautiful and quiet. It's not far from the pier and the songthaew station, making it convenient for getting around. Just a small suggestion: damaged facilities should be repaired promptly.

A pretty nice little hotel. The room was clean, and we got a room on the top floor with a view of Pattaya. There is a medium-sized swimming pool on the property, along with sun loungers. The hotel also offers motorbike rental for 300 baht. Breakfast was included — not very extensive, but you definitely won’t go hungry: you’ll get eggs, toast, and soup. The towels were clean, and the bed linen was fresh as well. If you are traveling without a motorbike, keep in mind that the beaches are quite far — walking there is inconvenient and takes a long time. The only downside is that there is a bar nearby, and the music was extremely loud until 2 a.m. ——— Довольно милый отельчик. В комнате было чисто. Нам досталась комната на верхнем этаже с видом на Паттайю. На территории есть бассейн среднего размера и шезлонги. В отеле также можно арендовать байк за 300 бат. В стоимость был включён завтрак — не очень обширный, но голодными вы точно не останетесь: яичницу, тост и суп подают. Полотенца были чистые, постельное бельё тоже. Если вы путешествуете без байка, учтите, что до пляжей далековато — пешком идти неудобно и долго. Единственный минус — рядом расположен бар, и музыка играла очень-очень громко до двух часов ночи.

Needed a hotel last minute for a few couples. This hotel came recommended and I understand why. The price was great and sets your expectations. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Happy I stayed, really comfortable sleep.

Everything was impressive! While the accommodation isn't directly on the beach, it's only a 5-minute scooter ride away. The place is peaceful and secluded. They offer convenient pick-up and drop-off service to/from the pier. If you arrive before check-in, you can store your luggage, enjoy a welcome drink, and then leisurely explore the island on a scooter while waiting. You don't even need to rent one, and it comes with a full tank of gas! 😁 The owner is incredibly kind, offering recommendations for sights and restaurants. You can call them anytime if you have any questions. The room had a soft, comfortable bed and a wonderfully cool air conditioner. You only need to bring your clothes. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit and refreshing orange juice. On departure, they even gave us a unique and adorable souvenir! Highly recommend!!! Extremely impressed! It felt so warm and welcoming 🥰

It's not far from the pier! But the location isn't super convenient, just okay. They promised to pick us up from the pier but didn't (they did take us back, though). The grounds are cozy. Our toilet seat was broken, which was inconvenient. Water is brought daily, but cleaning isn't done. The blanket was very narrow, making it uncomfortable to sleep. The biggest downside was the noise all night – they rent out a villa nearby for groups, and it was mostly dancing and noise all night long.

The hotel is wonderful, and the location is beyond praise. It's right on the beach with fine white sand, in the very center of the beach area. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were attentive and helpful; they even let us use their pool with a sea view and glass wall after check-out.

As a backpacker, I've traveled to many places, but this spot truly made me feel at home. The rooms were spotless and the bedding was incredibly soft against the skin. At night, you literally fall asleep to the sound of the waves, which is fantastic for anyone with trouble sleeping. The rooftop viewing deck even thoughtfully provides cooking utensils, perfect for those who aren't used to local cuisine and want to cook their own meals. They even offer free eggs for guests like me who prefer a milk and bread breakfast, so you can fry your own! The owner, in particular, is incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions or requests from guests. My experience on Koh Larn these past few days has been the best since I started my Pattaya vacation. The fine white sand beaches, the jelly-colored sea, and the friendly guesthouse owner all left a deep impression on me. If I ever come back to Koh Larn, I'll definitely choose to stay here again. We were truly impressed; the hotel is situated in a very quiet location, and from our ”Lagoon” room, we had a beautiful view directly onto the sea. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff were also always on hand and very friendly.
