Hotels near Lover's Point Park, Pacific Grove

"This new hotel's rooms were quite satisfying in every aspect. Our family of four had plenty of space, and the decor was modern. While not a huge hotel, the service and facilities were good. It's about a 10-minute drive from Monterey's wharf and the aquarium. The surrounding area isn't bustling, but it's very charming – perfect for a vacation stroll, whether it's Lover's Point by the sea or the colorful cottages nearby. It's definitely not a lively area, but parking is free. I'd say there are three downsides. First, the shower water pressure isn't great (a common issue in the US). Second, in addition to the $3000-a-night room rate, there's an extra $60+ per night resort fee. Ctrip didn't mention this, and it can be frustrating when you find out later. However, it seems many resort hotels in the US charge this. This particular hotel didn't have many facilities, and since we arrived late at night, we spoke to them and they quickly waived it. But there's no guarantee they'll waive it next time. Third, and I don't blame the hotel for this, I think it's Ctrip's fault. Ctrip stated that breakfast for two was included. When we got to the hotel, it was à la carte. We initially asked the restaurant staff how to order the included breakfast and if there were any restrictions. The staff said there were no restrictions, but actually, there's a $50 per person limit, so be aware of that. For two breakfasts, that's $100, which is usually enough. For breakfast, I found the steak to be just okay. I'd recommend the oatmeal bowl and the English muffins (their specialty). The omelets were also good."

"The hotel is very unique, I really like the decor, the old-money style is great."

"Because Carmel's accommodation options are too expensive, I want to say that I chose the lighthouse in the next town. Unexpectedly great! The room looks much bigger than the photos and the facilities are very thoughtful and complete. The fireplace is really nice and warm! !! 17 days in the United States, this is the best and favorite accommodation ~ In addition to the buffet, there is another menu to choose from (there is no extra charge). Many choices are delicious. Most of the other guests are Americans who come for vacation. It's near the sea, and there are deer nearby, suitable for watching the sunset ~~"

"Great location (close to 17 Mile Drive and other scenic spots), spacious, clean and cozy rooms, family-friendly inn with sufficient parking spaces. Offering simple but nice complimentary breakfast. Excellent guest service before, during and after the stay. A special thank you note to the day and night staff who patiently assisted with the FedEx delivery arrangement for delivery of a lost item to another city. Would love to come back and stay again!"

"Awesome location, very clean and nice people checked us in. The only drawback was breakfast...would have preferred some healthier options. Coffee was great!"

"We had a lovely stay at the Rosedale. We loved the jacuzzi bath and the fire in the room. They both made for a cozy stay. It was quiet and comfortable and the receptionists were both really friendly and helpful. We would happily stay again."

"The rooms were OK nothing great and seemed clean but water waste could be avoided with newer toilet and shower valves. This non water waste had a sticker in the bathroom. The breakfast was serve yourself and very basic. The pool looked clean but the spa had an baby in it with a diaper on and the grown ups [parents?] didn't care but we did. All in all very pricey for what we got and the add on taxes/fees really kicked up the price...beware."

"Environment: Very good Hygiene: Clean and tidy Facilities: Complete"

"Great location! Cross the street, then you can arrive at the lover's point. After waking up in the morning, i can go running along the coast and watch the sun rises from the water."

"Health is far worse than the picture, but the hotel service is good, there is a swimming pool and roasting fire outside, the waiter will smoke with you, staying for a long time is a bit warm, although it still feels good"
