"For a 3-star hotel, the rooms are of good quality with large bathrooms. The staff and owners go above and beyond for your comfort. The chef's cuisine is worth the trip; it was truly delicious and very varied. And don't even get me started on the desserts, which are simply fantastic. All this with impeccable service and highly competent and responsive staff. It's the place to stay in the region. I'll definitely be back as soon as I'm in the area. NOTE: THE SANCTUARY IS JUST STEPS AWAY... Isn't that great?"

"We travelled as a couple with the intention of immersing ourselves in the Spiritual experience of Lourdes . This we definitely did . And we were helped by staying at Hotel Sainte-Rose . Its location is perfect , just a hundred metres or so from the entrance to the Sanctuary . Our room was large and comfortable and the cleaning staff were friendly and thorough . The friendliness of the staff was a feature of our visit . We had breakfast and our evening meal at the hotel . It is a buffet service for all meals . The food was wholesome and plentiful and there lots of catering staff on duty whenever we had our meals ."

"My wife and I have just spent three nights bed and breakfast at this lovely hotel. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast has a selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, breads, fruit juice, tea and coffee. The room was small and basic, but cleaned to a high standard every day. This hotel is an ideal base for exploring Lourdes. It is only a ten minute walk to The Basilica. Do not listen to the negative reviews about this hotel. It is a budget friendly hotel, not a 5 star. Some people don,t want to pay much, but expect a lot! We will certainly be visiting this hotel again."

"Location is uphill, 600 meters close to the centre but manageable to walk to all attractions. Room is clean, but no air conditioning, I arrived during the peak of hot weather with temperature of 37 degrees.  At night you can hear other guests from the other room."

Helgon Hotel - Lourdes Pyrénées

"The best was its location to the Sanctuary of Lourdes  ant its closeness to shops & restaurants. The room was a huge size for 2. Bed was comfortable, carpet needs freshen up with shampoo. Toilet was roomy very clean. Worst  - was no early check in consideration since there were no other customers checking in from 1200-1500h. Other five stars hotels were far more considerate  in my experience. I just sat on the sofa, very unwelcoming reception.  When you wanted to update on the news or watch drama no English channel.  Hotels should cater to costumers needs not personalized for a country. Very frustrating.  I might still recommend this place. There’s always a way for improvement."
