"I stayed at Lushan Hotel during my trip to Mount Lu! The hotel is located in the core area of Guling East Valley, right next to Meilu Villa. It's a quiet oasis in a bustling area, with Changchong River and a forest right outside – a natural oxygen bar that's incredibly healing. The century-old building has a wonderful charm, and the staff are warm and attentive. The front desk manager even gave us thoughtful advice on our travel itinerary. The breakfast was plentiful, and the location is superb."

"The entire room was decorated in comfortable warm tones, with soft but not dim lighting. The bedding was super soft and clearly high-quality – once you lay down, you won't want to get up! The shower had fantastic water pressure and instant hot water, making for a truly refreshing experience. A special shout-out to the slippers – they had thick soles and soft fabric, not those flimsy ones that flatten immediately. The fabric sofa was very plush, and the TV was large with a clear picture. Downstairs, there's a huge ground-level parking lot with plenty of spaces, so no worries if you're driving. It's just a few minutes' drive from the city center, and there are many delivery options nearby if you get hungry late at night."

The bedding was clean and fresh, and the air conditioning temperature was just right. The breakfast buffet in the morning was also excellent. Highly recommend!"

Except that the window of the room seems to be the wall of the mosque next door, there are no other problems. The hotel service is very good. They will recommend sightseeing routes according to your schedule. If you go up the mountain, you can borrow hiking poles for free, so you don’t need to buy them separately. The pick-up and drop-off service for check-in and departure is also very good. I will recommend this place to friends if they come in the future, but they may have to pay for it. Choose a better room to stay comfortably (if you are very picky about your accommodation environment)"

"The hotel is nestled in a rather secluded mountain valley, standing alone with no adjacent buildings. The lobby is located on the 8th floor, and guest rooms on floors 5-7 are quite a walk from there. Mountain view rooms offer the best vistas, while all other room types feature garden views. The staff were proactive in greeting guests and very attentive, earning high marks for their service. The rooms were clean, tidy, and offered excellent privacy."

I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit in the future."

"Xiao Cheng at the front desk left a very good impression! The wonderful trip to Lushan started with your smiling arrangement of the room and patiently answering questions about the route to see the sunrise and the attractions of Lushan. The hotel was personally selected by Chairman Chiang Kai-shek and built in 1937. It is very good in all aspects. As soon as you enter, you will feel the strong style of the Republic of China. The walls are covered with old photos of the Kuomintang and the Communist Party. Dress-up photography is also provided. The hotel's restaurant is not expensive and the environment is very good. The room is spacious and comfortable! When visiting the beautiful Lushan, you have to stay in such a hotel, which complements each other. Very satisfied!"

"The room we checked into this time was a king-size bed room. Ctrip helped us select a high floor so it was quieter. The room had two bathrooms, a hot spring bath, a sofa and a chaise longue. I was very satisfied with the facilities! The hot spring pool is dark. You can't drive into the hotel. You can only park in the parking lot and walk to the front desk with your luggage. It's very unfriendly. Breakfast was so-so."

"The scenery and food were excellent. We booked this trip for our elderly family members during the off-season, and they thoughtfully moved us to a room on the second floor. Even though we drove there, the pick-up and drop-off service on the mountain was very considerate. The downsides: the front desk was chaotic. First, we used our Ctrip benefits to get early check-in, but the housekeeper was completely unaware. Then, we booked two nights but only one night, and when we returned, the room was locked. Next, we used our "stay now, pay later" benefit and were asked to check out and pay. Thankfully, our elderly family members called to inquire, otherwise their credit card would have been charged again. If this were truly a booking for a client, there could have been many misunderstandings. We hope they can improve this situation."

"The hotel has a great location, close to Xiufeng Waterfall Scenic Area. There's a shopping mall nearby where you can shop and have a meal. The room facilities were decent, and the service was good. Breakfast wasn't included, so I didn't try it. We went to the first restaurant on the right after entering the Xiufeng Waterfall Scenic Area and had a bowl of Nanchang mixed noodles for just a few yuan – it was fantastic and delicious! Since the Xiufeng Waterfall cable car was under maintenance, we didn't go up, but the photos taken from below were still very nice. When we left the hotel, we saw a newlywed couple making a lot of noise with drums and gongs!"

"Quiet and clean. Both rooms we booked had outdoor balconies with beautiful views every day. As it's a "mountain hotel," it's located up a hill, but the hotel offers shuttle service to the cable car station, which is excellent."

"The boss is very nice and a very nice person! The room is not expensive. It has Japanese and Korean style inside. It is clean and brand new. The location is good. It is inside Meilu. It is not far from the main street and the bus station. We stayed with friends and the boss arranged it for us very well👍. Very satisfied with the prices of facilities, sanitation, environment and services! The first time I went to Lushan Mountain in winter, I fell in love with Lushan Mountain in winter. "The room is very old. The most unacceptable thing is that almost every pool in the hot spring has people smoking while bathing in the hot spring, and the staff doesn't care. There were people smoking even in the lounge and bathing area on the second floor. We reminded the staff to stop them and ignored us. Such a bad experience"

Lushan Gaoyi Hotel (Sudao Ruiqin Lake Side Store)
"Guests over 70 must be accompanied by a younger person to stay here. The hotel has parking spaces right outside, an elevator inside, and a restaurant on the first floor. From a side exit on the fourth or fifth floor, it's just a 5-minute walk to the cable car station, where you can catch a scenic shuttle. If you head out the front door, you'll find plenty of dining options less than 10 minutes away. It's also a pleasant stroll to Zhengjie Street or Ruqin Lake. The location is excellent – a quiet oasis close to the bustling area, offering both convenience and tranquility. It's very peaceful at night (barring the occasional late-night chatter from other guests in the hallway). The hotel upgraded our room, which was spacious and incredibly clean. We enjoyed tea on the tatami mat while taking in the mountain views. The bedding was very comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure. There's also a lovely terrace on the third floor with tables and chairs, perfect for a quiet evening tea. It would have been a perfect stay, but for one minor issue: although the hotel offers station drop-off, they weren't aware that the shuttle buses leaving the scenic area only depart on the hour. In theory, it's hourly, unless there are enough people to fill a bus, in which case it leaves early. We saw shuttle after shuttle leaving for the North Gate, but the one for the South Gate took forever to fill up. After we repeatedly urged them, they finally dispatched the bus 15 minutes early, which still meant we wasted over 40 minutes waiting in the scenic shuttle, nearly missing our high-speed train. I hope the hotel front desk will familiarize themselves with the shuttle bus schedule for both North and South Gates in the future and inform guests to prevent travel delays."
